"For this to work, two requirements must be met: one, a suitable magical leyline must run close to the depleted land, and two, a siphoning formation must be built to create a pathway that redirects the matching magical leyline into the barren spot."

Take, for instance, the need to first assess the strength and extent of the nearby magical leyline and calculate the right size for the siphoning channel.
