Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2613: 1439: Agreement and Return
“Oh?”
Leo Ray raised a brow slightly at Loris’s proposal, giving a small nod to indicate that the other should proceed.
“To be completely honest with Your Majesty of the Humans, there sits a remarkably scarce underground vein at the frontier between the Rainforest Fortress Alliance and the Desert Alliance. It yields a type of exotic ore that, if my memory serves me, is exactly what Your Majesty has been seeking,” Loris explained.
Loris clenched his teeth before adding, “In addition to that dormant [Stone of God], I am prepared to surrender 500 units of exotic ore along with the full excavation rights to that specific vein. How does Your Majesty feel about this offer?”
Interest immediately flickered in Leo Ray’s eyes upon hearing the terms.
He was well aware that Multicolored Ingots, processed from such exotic ores, were the vital materials required to upgrade the Lord’s Mansion. Currently, they were the only resource he lacked for the upgrade, making their value self-evident.
As for how Loris knew of his needs, it was hardly a mystery. Leo Ray had deployed his entire network to find them, and it was expected that a well-connected individual would catch wind of his search.
An offer consisting of 500 exotic ores, the entire vein, and the [Stone of God] certainly aligned with his goals.
Even setting aside the potential future yield of the vein, the 500 ores alone were a massive temptation.
After all, despite a long search by his forces, the total amount of refined exotic ore collected so far only reached 100 units.
Judging by previous results, those 500 ores could likely be processed into over 100 Multicolored Ingots, representing a massive windfall.
“Very well. Since the Rainforest Leader has shown such sincerity, I shall accept this as a token of our friendship.”
Despite the offer meeting his requirements, Leo Ray maintained a conflicted facade. He hesitated for a long moment under Loris’s anxious gaze before slowly adding, “The Administrator will oversee the transfer of the ores and the vein.”
With the Shadow Market of the Trade Guardian acting as an intermediary, Leo Ray had no concerns about Loris attempting any deception.
“I understand. Rainforest Leader, please sign the trade contract accordingly.”
The Administrator produced a prepared sheet of parchment and laid it out smoothly before Loris.
“My deepest thanks to Your Majesty of the Humans!”
Overjoyed by Leo Ray’s consent, Loris could not hide the excitement on his lion-like features as he grabbed a quill to finalize the paperwork.
Once finished, Loris threw a mocking look at Sina, causing the veins on her pale forehead to throb with irritation.
“Your Majesty of the Humans, in addition to the ten containers, I am willing to provide two more ore veins!”
Unable to tolerate Loris’s smug expression any longer, the restless Sina spoke up urgently: “One of these veins previously yielded ten magic containers, while the other once produced an incredibly rare Sacred Essence Stone!”
Leo Ray’s eyes brightened once more at Sina’s words.
A vein capable of producing magic containers was valuable enough, but the Sacred Essence Stone was something he had just been contemplating!
With that rare natural magic ore, he could reopen the path to meet King West. By using the container, he could awaken him from his ancestral slumber and bring him into his service.
“While King West’s personal power is restricted and his influence doesn’t extend beyond the Coldflame Kingdom, he is still a pioneer transmigrator with a limited Lord Interface and Hint Talent.”
“Even if that Hint Talent is erratic and beyond his direct control, it is still a useful asset.”
“Furthermore, the old man has connections with powerful figures from the Outer Region who were vital during the battle of Kael Castle. They might be useful again. Besides, he is Ariel Watson’s ancestor, making him a distant relative of mine.”
After weighing these thoughts, Leo Ray kept his composure and looked at Sina with a raised eyebrow. “Desert Leader, though the veins you offer are enticing, they lack immediate stock. In terms of time and labor costs, they are clearly less valuable than the previous offer.”
“To be honest with Your Majesty, the Sacred Essence Stone I found was traded away a century ago,” Sina replied with a helpless expression.
Understanding Leo Ray’s hint, she continued, “I still possess some Magic Crystals, though their quality is not the highest. If Your Majesty is willing, I will add 100 mid-to-low quality Magic Crystals to the deal.”
“I suppose I can reluctantly agree to that.”
Leo Ray once again adopted a look of feigned difficulty.
For him, while his supply of Sixth-order Equipment was currently low, securing these resources was a more than fair trade!
“My original plan was simply to use the Sixth-order Equipment as bait to find the truth, but not only has the investigation gone well, I’ve gained these unexpected treasures!”
Despite his inner satisfaction, Leo Ray’s face remained unreadable.
“I am grateful for your kindness, Your Majesty of the Humans!”
Sina’s fair face was filled with unmistakable joy, her serpentine hair dancing with excitement. Securing a set of Sixth-order Equipment had been her long-held ambition.
