Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2604: 1434: Tit for Tat and Eager Anticipation (Part 2)

The Desert Alliance and the Rainforest Fortress Alliance stood on the brink of a violent confrontation, with the serpentine Sina and the axe-wielding Reece leading their respective forces in a tense standoff. This imminent clash was only halted by the intervention of the Shadow Market’s Administrator, who utilized the formidable presence of Tier 6 Market Guards and the looming threat of the Bazaar Brotherhood to enforce peace. Though weapons were stowed, the bitter rivalry remained palpable as both factions were led deeper into the market. Their focus shifted toward the highly anticipated unveiling of Tier 6 equipment, even as they continued to trade sharp insults and maintain a state of high combat readiness.

After he finished speaking, the masked figure cast a cold look toward Old Susan. "You cannot even identify the quality of the finale items," he remarked with indifference, "yet you still dare to come out and humiliate yourself."

Old Susan’s face flushed with anger at the insult, and he looked ready to snap. However, the administrator’s cheerful voice cut in before he could react. "Gentlemen, ladies, there is something you may not be aware of. The Tier 6 equipment serving as our finale for this high-end market actually consists of two separate sets. Since they perfectly match the requirements of both leaders, I extended invitations to you both."

"I see. It appears this auction has attracted some quite wealthy patrons," Sina remarked, her eyebrow arching slightly. She turned her attention to the administrator. "Your Excellency, I would prefer to meet the owner of the Tier 6 Wand and Robe in private. I have no desire for pests to spoil my concentration."

"Administrator, I have full confidence in my ability to secure the Tier 6 Giant Axe and Plate Armor. There is no need for trash to even participate in the bidding," Loris added. Veins were bulging on his lion-like face as he suppressed his rage. "Lead me to the owner directly."

The administrator offered a helpless smile as he listened to their demands. "I believe there has been a misunderstanding. The owner of both sets is, in fact, the same individual."

The tension was expected. For over a millennium, the Desert Alliance and the Rainforest Fortress Alliance had been locked in a bitter struggle over water rights and ore veins along their borders. Their history was written in blood and constant skirmishes.

Had they not been forced to remain vigilant against the more formidable second-tier powers deeper within the Outer Region, they likely would have fought a war of total annihilation by now.

Their enmity was further fueled by a history of backstabbing; whenever one side was preoccupied with a second-tier threat, the other would inevitably launch a raid for resources. This cycle of hostility made their current bickering quite predictable.

"Very well. Please continue, Administrator," Loris said with a slight nod, his eyes flickering with a mix of shock and intrigue.

Anyone capable of offering Tier 6 equipment for trade was a person of significance, but someone providing two complete sets was almost unheard of. He wondered what kind of extravagant figure had decided to grace this market with their presence.

Sina remained silent, but her sharp eyes were constantly scanning the surroundings as she tried to deduce the identity of the mysterious seller. She had frequented higher-ranked Shadow Markets in the past and seen many powerful experts from first and second-tier factions.

Even those legendary figures coveted Tier 6 equipment and were prepared to pay a king's ransom for them, rarely leaving anything behind for those with weaker foundations. Why would such a patron choose to appear here?

For a Tier 6 expert, compatible Tier 6 gear was a massive force multiplier. Only such high-level equipment could truly channel the full destructive potential of a Tier 6 powerhouse.

In a duel between equals, the one wielding Tier 6 equipment would easily dominate. They could even potentially hold their own against two opponents of the same rank, showing just how vital such gear was for Cultivation and combat.

As the two leaders grew more curious, the administrator led them away from the chaotic market streets and came to a stop before a secluded, grand structure.

"Honored guests, we have arrived at the observation and exchange hall. The equipment is waiting inside. Please, follow me."

With a wave of his hand, the administrator signaled the squad of market guards stationed at the entrance to pull open the heavy gates.

As the doors swung wide, the group saw two sets of Tier 6 equipment displayed within the opulent hall. Each set was encased behind its own independent Defensive Barrier and guarded by two Tier 6 warriors. The gear radiated a profound and exotic aura.

The sight of the items they had only seen on their invitations caused the two leaders to forget their petty squabble. They rushed toward their respective targets with wide-eyed wonder.

Their subordinates were just as captivated, following closely behind like shadows. Even for these elites, the chance to admire Tier 6 equipment so closely was a rare privilege.

"It truly is a Tier 6 Giant Axe perfectly suited for me!" Loris exclaimed.

The lion-faced leader practically pressed his face against the barrier, his eyes fixed on the vibrant, deep colors of the axe blade. "I have never witnessed such masterful craftsmanship in all my years!"

"This Tier 6 Giant Axe was forged by a legendary, long-lost master of the Dwarf Clan," the administrator explained, drawing on the details provided by Leo Ray. "It utilizes Titan Clan forging techniques, blending the strengths of both races. The materials include the incredibly rare White Knight meteor iron, and a high-tier gravity magic crystal is embedded in the handle to maximize penetration and striking power."

The administrator smiled at Loris. "If you are interested, the owner has given permission for you to handle the weapon personally."

"What a generous and open-minded individual!" Loris’s eyes sparkled. "Then I shall take you up on that offer, Administrator."

"It is my pleasure," the administrator replied, gesturing for the guards to deactivate the barrier so Loris could examine the weapon with excitement.

The administrator then turned to Sina, who was similarly mesmerized by her display case. "To be honest, Your Majesty, this wand originates from the Rock Fishmen, an ancient and forgotten race. Legends say it belonged to a high priest of their kind, a people who were masters of petrifaction magic."

"Beyond the standard mana amplification and casting speed buffs, this wand drastically empowers petrifaction spells and can even manifest a high-tier water attribute magic shield."

"As you can see, despite the passage of ages, its brilliance has not faded in the slightest. It is a truly rare find."

As the administrator spoke, Sina’s gaze grew increasingly intense. She stared at the gray metallic wand, which was intricately carved with coral and ripple patterns. She swallowed hard; this was the divine tool she had spent her life dreaming of.

Following Leo Ray’s plan, the administrator opened the barrier for Sina as well. He then proceeded to introduce the two accompanying sets of Tier 6 armor. Once the tour was complete, Loris and Sina reluctantly put the items back, their desire for the equipment burning brighter than ever.

"Administrator, where is the owner? I am anxious to meet this esteemed person," Loris said, rubbing his massive, furred hands together impatiently.

"I am determined to have that wand and robe," Sina added, her voice urgent. She paced like an ant on a hot pan, her snake tail twitching with agitation. "Make sure I am the first to speak with them!"

The two leaders glared at each other, ready to reignite their argument over who should go first. The administrator quickly stepped in. "There is no need for conflict. The owner has stated that he will meet with both of you together."

With a polite gesture, the administrator led the way. Loris, Sina, and their followers followed immediately, abandoning any further talk.

They walked through a broad corridor and entered a spacious, sunlit hall.

At the far end of the room, a tall human sat calmly at a negotiation table, looking as though he had been waiting for some time.

The identity of the man was unmistakable. It was Leo Ray.

The moment they recognized his face, the excitement on the faces of Loris and Sina vanished, replaced by confusion and a look of visible disdain.

As leaders of their respective Alliances, they had long ago seen magic portraits of Leo Ray.

"The Emperor of the Human Race? What business does he have here?" Loris growled, his brow furrowing. "And where is the actual owner of the equipment?"
