Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2576 1420: Conversation in the Depths of the Great Hall

"A direct conversation with 'Eclipse'?!"
The announcement caused everyone present to freeze, exchanging looks of sheer astonishment.
It was common knowledge that whether one considered the previous clash at the Dragon Nest or Old Nick's harrowing ordeal, 'Eclipse' was an enigmatic entity defined by ruthless violence, leaving only terror and slaughter in its wake.
Furthermore, this adversary dwells within the profound depths of the abyssal magical ley lines. This is a territory that even Tier 6 experts find impossible to reach, making it a domain far beyond the reach of their own forces.
Logically speaking, the chance of establishing any dialogue seemed non-existent. There was certainly no reason for such a creature to initiate contact, as it was the very source of catastrophe foretold in countless ancient tomes and prophecies.
"I am aware of your doubts; achieving this seems like an impossible feat. However, a glimmer of hope remains to turn this impossibility into reality. The 'Eclipse' I am referring to is not the one hidden deep within the ley lines, but one that is right here with us."
A mysterious grin played on Leo Ray’s lips as he gave the group a knowing nod.
"Lord, are you speaking of the White Knight?"
Ariel Watson’s eyes shimmered as she quickly grasped his meaning: "Now that I think about it, the parasite attached to the White Knight—considering its appearance and parasitic nature—does share a striking resemblance to 'Eclipse'!"
Having witnessed the White Knight's true form and learned of his tragic history, those vivid images were still burned into Ariel Watson's memory.
"Precisely, though there are subtle distinctions, particularly regarding the color of 'Eclipse.' The entities encountered by the elder president and myself were purple, unlike the blue hue found on the White Knight. Because of this, I previously only suspected the life form on the White Knight was 'Eclipse' without confirming it."
Leo Ray nodded slightly in affirmation: "However, according to Old Nick’s account, the one he witnessed was brown. This suggests that 'Eclipse' is not a single entity but likely consists of various branches or species, making color variations quite expected."
"This realization confirms my belief that the mysterious entity parasitizing the White Knight is indeed 'Eclipse'."
Upon hearing Leo Ray’s explanation, the truth finally dawned on everyone.
Even though the Grey Elder and several others had not seen the White Knight’s true appearance with their own eyes, they had heard Leo Ray’s previous descriptions and immediately understood the connection.
With his heart now clear, the Grey Elder’s weathered face showed a hint of concern as he asked: "Lord, 'Eclipse' is our enemy; if they refuse to negotiate, what will our next move be?"
"Do not forget, we possess the armaments required to face them."
Leo Ray looked toward Little Moon at his side and replied with a smile: "While we might struggle against an army, we are more than capable of neutralizing a single foe. Of course, that is our last resort."
"But Lord, the only reason the White Knight continues to fight for you is because of 'Eclipse'."
Ariel Watson asked with equal hesitation: "If we come into conflict or destroy the entity, wouldn't that result in the White Knight’s death as well?"
"Rest easy, for I have weighed this carefully. Even in the worst-case scenario, I have the means to ensure the White Knight survives. He has served us well, and I will not simply watch him perish."
Leo Ray nodded, his face once again wearing that enigmatic smile as he added: "As for the specific method, you shall witness it shortly."
After speaking, Leo Ray’s expression turned solemn as he addressed the assembly: "Enough talk, we have no time to lose. Begin the preparations immediately."
Under the glow of the twin moons and the shimmering stars, following a period of intense planning, Leo Ray and his subordinates arrived at a brilliantly lit, majestic temple.
The floors and walls of the sanctuary were etched with complex flame magic arrays that pulsed with a chilly blue light, creating a stunning visual contrast between the essence of fire and frost.
The cold radiance glimmered against hundreds, perhaps thousands, of pristine white pillars, filling the air with an aura of sacredness.
At the far end of these white columns stood many expertly carved humanoid statues in various poses, some draped in mage robes and others encased in armor, looking as though they might step off their pedestals.
The most striking among them were the figures wearing intricate lion crowns upon their brows, exuding an air of immense dignity and authority.
In front of these crowned statues were monuments of merit, carved with their respective histories and legendary deeds.
By now, the location was obvious to all: they were in the deepest sanctum of the Miracle Building within the Coldflame Royal City—the Lion King Temple.
Leo Ray stood before the altar at the temple's terminus, flanked by Ariel Watson, Grey Elder, Elder Bing, Shelly, and other masters. On both sides of the altar, Xiao Jing, Little Jie, Little Moon, Little Illusion, and the various Stone Spirits stood in formation, fully armed and ready for the coming trial.
