Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2553: 1408: The Deepest Scene (Part 2)

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
Leo Ray stands before a massive, impervious metal gate in the deepest depths and orders a thorough investigation of the area to ensure no details are missed. While his organized forces and powerful Stone Spirits carry out his commands, the siblings Ethan and Qunnie Young reflect in awe on Leo’s mysterious ability to lead the formidable Outer Region experts. Despite their confusion regarding his true Talent and combat prowess, the Young siblings remain determined to contribute to the search. Leo watches them with a sense of shared responsibility, recognizing the importance of uniting with other Lords of the Summer Realm.

Then, Leo Ray pulled his focus back to the present and began to evaluate the current state of affairs.

Following the fierce clash just now, several of our powerful combatants had sustained light wounds, though nothing critical. However, among the commanders serving under the Young family siblings, some injuries were more severe, despite having received medical attention.

Essentially, our fighting capacity remained largely intact. The solitary hurdle remaining was the massive portal standing before us.

Just as this thought crossed Leo Ray’s mind, he was suddenly taken aback by a new discovery.

The previously immovable Magic Barrier protecting the giant gate was showing obvious signs of instability, as if it were on the verge of deactivating.

“What is happening?”

Observing this development, the surrounding experts from our faction shifted their focus, their expressions filled with bewilderment.

“It appears the ‘Key’ was in our possession all along.”

Leo Ray realized the truth instantly and signaled with his hand, shouting, “Everyone, reform the ranks! The final trial is about to begin!”

At Leo Ray’s command, the scattered experts in the vicinity quickly took flight and reorganized into their combat positions.

Within the grand formation, the Ancient Dark Elf specialists took the lead to handle scouting, with the Dragonborn following closely behind. Positioned in the center were the Flower and Wood Fairy experts alongside Leo Ray and the other members of the Human Clan. The flanks were secured by Troll experts, while the rear was anchored by Treant experts, creating a highly disciplined front.

Trailing behind them, naturally, were the leaders led by the Young siblings.

“Brother Chen, what does this mean?”

Qunnie Young moved toward Leo Ray, her mind clouded with confusion as she asked: “What do you mean by saying the ‘Key’ has always been with us?”

“If my intuition is correct, we only hold one of the ‘Keys,’ and there is more than one entrance. Only when every ‘Key’ is brought before a giant gate will all the passages unlock at the same time.”

Leo Ray gave a nod, gesturing for the fighters to refresh their enhancement buffs while he explained.

“Liam Sanders, are you suggesting that every Lord who nears this restricted zone acts as a ‘Key’?”

Ethan Young grasped the concept quickly, a look of realization washing over him: “So, as long as a sufficient number of Lords approach this sealed area, it triggers an automatic opening?”

“Precisely. The ‘sufficient number’ you mentioned likely refers to every Lord still surviving in this arena.”

Leo Ray nodded slightly in confirmation, adding, “To be more exact, this immovable giant gate has once again placed the remaining Lords on an equal footing. Next, a chaotic melee to claim the treasure is inevitable.”

“I see, that is certainly the most logical conclusion.”

Qunnie Young’s pale face turned grave as she gave a heavy nod: “It seems the upcoming moments will decide whether we make it out alive.”

“Indeed. However, the Lords who have survived this far are no weaklings; their power will surely eclipse those we faced earlier.”

Watching the metallic giant gate fluctuate with increasing intensity, Leo Ray offered a suggestion to the Young siblings: “The path ahead will be exceptionally dangerous. You two can remain here; once I successfully claim the treasure, you will also earn the right to return.”

Upon hearing Leo Ray’s proposal, Ethan and Qunnie Young looked at one another, a flash of doubt crossing their features.

Liam Sanders spoke the truth. Once every entrance to this sealed zone opened, a flood of powerful warriors would pour in. Given their own strength and that of their followers, joining the fray would be like a moth diving into a flame.

Yet, this hesitation was fleeting, and their resolve quickly returned. Ethan Young stepped forward, his face set with determination: “Liam Sanders, our power may be small, but every bit of strength increases the odds of securing the prize. If you will have us, we wish to stand by your side until the end!”

“That is right! No matter how minor our help may be, we want to assist Brother Chen!”

Qunnie Young gripped her Magic Wand tightly, adding: “We have no desire to hide behind Brother Chen. We want to fight alongside him and seize our own fate!”

Following the siblings' words, the other warriors behind them showed equal resolve, nodding firmly—even those who were wounded remained steadfast.

“Very well, we shall proceed with the current formation.”

Seeing their unwavering spirit, Leo Ray said no more and gave a slight nod: “However, we will be moving at high speed, so we cannot look out for you. You must adapt and act accordingly from the rear.”

As Leo Ray finished speaking, Little Jie called out in a serious tone: “Lord, the Magic Barrier is nearly gone!”

Leo Ray looked up and saw the shimmering energy on the massive metal gate fading rapidly, reaching a breaking point.

Crack.

With the sharp sound of a mechanism unlocking, the once-sealed metal giant gate began to swing open slowly.

At that sight, Jess and the other Ancient Dark Elves at the front acted instantly. Their forms blurred as some melted into the shadows while others lunged forward, moving with perfect coordination.

Immediately after, Leo Ray and the rest of the experts followed without pause, streaking forward like falling stars toward the inner reaches of the ship's cabins.

In a flash, the Young siblings watched in awe as Leo Ray, enveloped in a violet glow, moved with a speed rivaling a Tier 6 Expert, vanishing into the depths of the new cabin zone in an eye-blink.

“The complexity of that Thunder Attribute Magic is easily on par with the insights I gained from my own Talent.”

While Qunnie Young marveled internally, she, Ethan, and the rest of their group also began their advance.

However, because the majority of their team consisted of Tier 5 Powerhouses, their pace was significantly slower.

At the heart of the formation, while sprinting at top speed, Leo Ray took note of his surroundings.

This new section of the ship was much more expansive, filled with structures in every direction. Had there been a sky instead of a ceiling, it would have been indistinguishable from a small town, though it carried a heavy, ancient, and damp aura.

Leo Ray didn't have the luxury of time to investigate the former inhabitants, though he caught glimpses of skeletons scattered about. Their bone structures suggested they belonged to a humanoid race, perhaps even the Human Clan.

After crossing several of these town-like sectors, a massive cabin corridor opened up before the group.

The path was wide enough for ten people to walk side-by-side. At the far end of this long hall, a soft radiance flickered, hinting at the treasure's location.

“Your Majesty of the Humans, this area is quite... unique!”

Jess, scouting from the front, quickly sent his report via Magic Communication.

“Do not press further. Wait for our arrival.”

Leo Ray nodded slightly, accelerating down the passage.

In moments, Leo Ray had covered nearly a thousand meters, and the space suddenly opened up into a vast chamber.

The area was enormous but strikingly desolate, save for a massive Altar positioned in the center.

At the very peak of the Altar sat a shimmering golden orb, its brilliance nearly hypnotic.

“Lord, that must be the object of our search!”

Xiao Jing’s eyes sparkled with excitement, her posture showing she was ready to leap forward.

Upon hearing this, the other experts on our side felt a surge of energy, prepared to move at a moment's notice.

Though the item sat in the middle of the room, with the speed of our fighters, it would take only a heartbeat to retrieve it!

“Wait, do not rush. Look closer.”

Leo Ray kept his composure and held his ground, pointing toward the base of the Altar.

The floor surrounding the Altar was stained with countless patches of dried blood, looking thick and viscous. While no corpses were in sight, the sheer volume of red stains was gruesome to behold.

Other parts of the room also bore bloodstains, but the concentration was nowhere near as high as it was around the Altar.

Furthermore, both surrounding and upon the Altar stood rows of humanoid statues. They stood tall like Guardians, their empty eyes fixed and sharp, surveying every corner of the chamber.
