Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2522 1392: Upheaval and Confusion (Part 2)

Leo Ray took a deep breath, his mind clouded with confusion as he forced himself to focus on the current situation.
The most critical objective was determining exactly why the fleet had vanished.
"If this really was a mutated dimensional storm, then based on what happened at Peak Forest Mystery, the magic sandbox should be showing nothing but a blur across the entire region."
Thinking of this, Leo Ray immediately initiated a mind talk, contacting Frost at Ice Stone City to investigate.
Because the magic sandbox in Ice Stone City monitored a portion of the ocean, it should be capable of pinpointing the fleet’s last known location, provided they hadn't traveled too far.
Frost responded almost instantly with a respectful tone: "Reporting to the Lord, the magic sandbox shows no signs of abnormality!"
"Understood. Keep a close watch and alert me the moment anything changes."
Leo Ray nodded in deep thought as he processed the report.
He then considered the third possibility—the one he dreaded most: a rift caused by the Great Catastrophe.
The thought had crossed his mind recently. Should such a rift manifest, it would undoubtedly signal the dawn of total annihilation.
"My current Cultivation and power are still far too weak. If the Great Catastrophe begins now, I fear everything I've built will be destroyed."
Wiping away the beads of sweat forming on his brow, Leo Ray tried to steady his nerves.
"No, that can't be it either. A rift would release massive waves of energy; there is no way the magic sandbox at Ice Stone City would fail to detect it."
"Besides, King West mentioned that the Great Catastrophe rift is supposed to emerge within the Human Domain, and we are currently a great distance from there."
"Therefore, the first scenario is the most probable, though I cannot completely discount the others yet."
After finishing his mental analysis, Leo Ray sensed the heavy tension in the air. He turned to the crowd and announced: "Everyone, a fleet does not simply vanish into thin air. Our priority is to uncover the source of this mystery. Rest assured, I will be right there with you."
Leo Ray knew that his dismissal of the last two theories was merely speculative; every potential cause carried weight and demanded caution.
Furthermore, this situation presented a perfect opening to solidify the loyalty of the Minotaurs.
From any perspective, he had to investigate the matter personally.
"We are deeply grateful to Your Majesty of the Humans! Your kindness will never be forgotten!"
The Minotaurs, who had been consumed by anxiety, were suddenly filled with hope. They cheered and dropped to their knees in reverence once more.
"Stand up. Remember, when I give my word, I follow through with action."
Leo Ray gave a slight nod to the Minotaurs.
Once the spirits of the Minotaurs were settled, Leo Ray turned to Bruno, who had just risen. "Let us head to the port and assess the situation."
"As you command, Your Majesty!"
With a respectful bow, Bruno began leading the way with massive, hurried strides.
The group moved quickly through the city blocks, soon arriving at a sprawling, massive port.
While they were on the move, Leo Ray issued orders for the Minotaur Grand Army to mobilize toward the docks for defensive maneuvers, while also telling Fanny and the others to prepare their forces.
With the deployments set, Leo Ray scanned the area. The port was easily twice as large as Azure Blue City, boasting comprehensive facilities and numerous defensive fortresses.
Warships and fishing vessels were docked in neat rows, swaying gently on the water, while squads of Minotaur soldiers patrolled the piers with vigilance.
A palpable sense of dread hung over the harbor; the news of the missing fleet had clearly sent shockwaves through the city.
Led by Bruno, they climbed to the highest vantage point of the port. Leo Ray felt the cool, salty spray of the sea breeze as he stared toward the distant horizon.
Night had fallen, and the sky was a blanket of stars. Their light reflected off the tranquil sea, creating a deceptive sense of peace.
Leo Ray knew better; beneath that quiet surface lurked the hidden danger that had swallowed his fleet.
"Bruno, get a vessel ready. I intend to see this for myself."
Leo Ray looked away from the horizon and nodded to the Minotaur General, who immediately went to carry out the order.
As Bruno’s hulking frame disappeared, Leo Ray returned his gaze to the sea.
While his current strength allowed him to walk on water within a certain range, these depths were infested with savage sea demon beasts of enormous size. Furthermore, Little Jie’s Absolute Defense Barrier had its limits on the open water, making a sturdy ship a much safer mobile base.
With the situation still a mystery, he had no idea what was waiting beneath the waves.
Bruno had previously explained that the Minotaurs had integrated power arrays into their smaller vessels, much like the engines of flying airships. Provided they had a steady supply of power, these ships could reach incredible speeds.
By utilizing the mana of the Tier 6 experts in his retinue, these boats could travel exceptionally fast.
Excluding Elder Bing and Little Jie's group, Leo Ray currently had fifteen Tier 6 powerhouses available, including Jess, Fanny, Shuert, Broy’s alchemy puppets, and the elites led by Crisis.
Additionally, other Tier 5 and elite Tier 4 warriors were being summoned and teleported in from Ice Stone City.
Since the number of available ships was low and their capacity limited, focusing on elite experts was the most efficient strategy.
The bulk of the ordinary legions remained on standby, with some guarding Ice Stone City to prepare for any secondary threats.
His war machine was now in full swing, ready to confront whatever crisis lay ahead.
Just as these thoughts crossed his mind, a medium-sized Minotaur vessel cut through the water toward them, leaving white foam in its wake as Bruno returned.
The ship was a tri-mast warship designed for wind travel, but currently, its sails were furled in preparation for magic-driven propulsion.
Though classified as a medium ship, it was quite imposing. Its wooden hull was reinforced with a thick, brown magical coating that gave off a dull, matte glow under the moonlight.
Nearby, a separate Minotaur fleet had already assembled, cruising slowly as they awaited Leo Ray’s signal.
"Your Majesty, more high-speed vessels are being fueled and prepared; they will be ready momentarily!"
Bruno reported with a salute.
"Excellent. Let us board."
Leo Ray nodded, and his group of powerhouses leaped onto the fast ship.
The vessel could hold 500 people. Along with Bruno and fifty Minotaur sailors, Leo Ray brought his main entourage and the four Dark Elf Mage squads Jess had hand-picked.
Jess and the Dark Elves were familiar with these waters, as it fell within their usual range of activity.
Before long, the rest of the elite experts arrived, filling the remaining five high-speed boats to capacity.
"It is time. Let us discover the truth behind the disappearance of our fleet."
At Leo Ray’s command, the six ships accelerated to full power, charging through the waves toward the heart of the ocean.
