Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 5 Goblin Village

A pack of goblins clutching stone blades surrounded Max, gradually narrowing their circle. "Damn, where did these goblins come from?"
Standing up instantly, he triggered the skill Three Dimensional Body. In that moment, he counted exactly ten goblins encircling him. He also noticed that the six fellow students who had accompanied him were nowhere in sight.
"They must have set me up!" Max realized how he had been stranded, yet a grin touched his lips instead of a scowl as he watched the monsters close in.
"If this isn't the best time to test the level 10 Magic Bullets, then when?" Beaming, he extended both hands toward the goblins, taking aim.
He didn't need to stress over his accuracy thanks to Three Dimensional Body. With his all-seeing perspective, locking onto targets had become second nature.
"Die!" Max laughed, discharging ten bullets from his ten fingertips at once. Like streaks of blue light, the ten projectiles flew toward the goblins, piercing their forms and shredding their flesh.
The goblins collapsed one after another before they could even process what had happened. A moment later, their bodies dissolved, leaving a pile of loot behind.
Max was shocked to see how easily the bullets ripped through the monsters' bodies. He hadn't anticipated that the power of the bullets would spike to such a degree.
'It seems level 10 for a skill is quite strong,' Max observed, finding the situation peculiar. Academy textbooks mentioned that a skill could be refined to a maximum level of 100, yet they also claimed achieving such a feat was impossible. However, the reasons why were never explained.
This ambiguity left Max feeling unsatisfied with only reaching level 10, despite three years of relentless training.
'Hehe, good. Now, let's see what they've dropped.' Smiling with satisfaction, Max started gathering the items the goblins had left.
The majority of the drops were rusty daggers, along with common goblin hide scraps, spoiled rations, and cores. He quickly tucked everything into his storage space and moved forward, consuming the cores as he walked.
The cramped corridor he had entered served as one of the access tunnels to this no-rank dungeon. Many such halls were spread throughout the area, and the creatures here weren't very formidable—only level 1 of Novice rank. Max was aware, however, that the true challenge waited further ahead, past the hallway.
Max sprinted through the narrow passage, which began to look more like a cavern the deeper he went. Surprisingly, he met no other goblins and reached the end of the hall after several minutes of sprinting.
From his position, he spotted what looked like a village in the distance below. Thatch-roofed huts, wooden posts, and large green leaves for shade made up the primitive settlement, which was populated entirely by goblins.
Max could see at least fifty goblins wandering the village from his high ground. Some were engaged in combat with other students, while others remained oblivious to the disaster about to strike them.
'This is good.' Max grinned and slid down the slope, making his way toward the village.
When he arrived, he was immediately met with a sight that made him chuckle. The six students who had abandoned him were now struggling to defend themselves against a massive swarm of goblins.
He noticed other groups of students fighting as well, looking equally overwhelmed. The goblins at the village perimeter were level 2 of Novice rank and carried rusty swords, whereas most of the students hadn't even reached level 1 yet.
'It's a good place to level up to level 2,' Max thought, smiling as he charged toward the distant monsters. He bypassed the six students who had betrayed him and headed straight for the heart of the battlefield.
There, he found a large crowd of students barely holding on against the goblins, completely dominated by the creatures.
Upon reaching them, he didn't intervene right away, choosing to watch for a second.
"Max? Max is here!" one of the desperate students yelled.
"Max, help us!" cried another.
"Yeah, Max, please help us. We're outnumbered, and they are stronger than we are."
"Max, we beg you! Please help us."
"Only you can help us, Max. Please do something."
Max smiled at their begging expressions and replied, "I'll help, but only if all the drops from the goblins I kill belong to me. Otherwise, pretend I'm not here."
The students' faces soured at his condition, but they recognized they had no other choice. They traded looks and begrudgingly gave in.
"Alright, you can take the drops from the monsters you kill," one of them agreed.
"Good." Max smirked and lunged toward the goblins.
Crashing into the frontline, he fired ten Magic Bullets, slaying ten goblins instantly. Some had their heads blown apart, while others were left with massive holes in their torsos. Seconds later, the goblin remains vanished in a red glow, leaving their loot on the ground.
The students watched in silent shock at how easily Max slaughtered the goblins. The massive gap in power between themselves and Max was undeniable, leaving them feeling humiliated.
But this was nothing new. For five years at the academy, they had lived in the shadow of the genius Max Morgan. Now, even inside a dungeon, the dynamic remained the same.
"What are you staring at? More goblins are coming!" Max barked.
The students spun around to see at least fifteen fresh goblins closing in. Combined with the ones they were already fighting, the total number quickly reached thirty.
"Damn, so many goblins! Look at their strength—they're all level 2 of Novice rank."
"Level 2? Look closer. Among the fifteen, three are level 3. We're doomed."
"If we're already facing level 3 monsters, the dungeon boss must be at least level 5. We're dead no matter what."
The students fell into a panic, terrified of facing level 3 monsters. They could barely cope with level 2, let alone anything more powerful.
However, one person among them wore nothing but a smile—Max.
He sprinted toward the approaching pack, firing ten Magic Bullets at the ones currently attacking the students. "Don't forget my condition," he shouted as he rushed past them.
His projectiles quickly eliminated the level 2 goblins, leaving the students with only five or so remaining to fight.
Nevertheless, Max left the goblins further back alone, leaving them for the students to handle. He wasn't so cold-hearted that he would take every single core and drop for himself.
