Max used his skills to efficiently defeat several goblins, prompting frustration from other students who felt he was unfairly claiming all the monster cores. Max then discovered a personal storage space linked to his Three Dimensional Body skill. After absorbing the cores and reaching Level 1 of Novice Rank, he activated his second class skill, Dimension of Time, which transported him to a surreal realm of white clouds where a mysterious wooden door appeared.

'So, it’s just my consciousness that has manifested here. My physical form remains exactly where I stood before activating the Dimension of Time,' Max mused, absorbing the realization.

He gathered that this realm served as a gateway to various dimensions. At his current level, however, he was restricted to appearing in this soul form and could not yet physically cross over.

'That wooden door must be the entrance to the Dimension of Time,' Max deduced, eyeing the lone structure standing amidst the endless sea of clouds.

'Since this is a manifestation of my own class, exploring it shouldn't be dangerous,' he considered. With that thought, he pushed the door open and crossed the threshold.

The door shut behind him of its own accord. Max now stood within a colossal chamber devoid of walls. The environment was an infinite expanse of blinding white.

'What kind of place is this?' Max questioned, scanning the mysterious, empty void.

Suddenly, a new wave of information surged into his mind, explaining the true function of the Dimension of Time.

"I’m not certain if this will work, but it’s worth a shot," Max whispered. He extended his right hand, slowly making a clockwise rotating motion. In response, a massive holographic clock materialized in the white void above. Its hands began to whirl at a dizzying pace before abruptly clicking to a halt.

Max froze as a notification appeared right before the world went still.

[Dimension of Time has been set to the first stage.]

[First Stage: 1hr = 1 year.]

'One hour equals one year?' Max stared at the alert, completely stunned. The implications were clear: a full year spent inside this dimension would only consume sixty minutes of real-world time. The ratio was staggering.

"This is… Godlike!" Max exclaimed, breathless at the sheer scale of the power. He had never heard of an ability so broken. It far exceeded any expectations he had when he first triggered the Dimension of Time skill.

"Doesn’t this mean I can spend years training here while barely any time passes outside?" Astounded by the potential, Max was eager to put it to the test.

Closing his eyes briefly, he sensed the state of the dungeon. The narrow corridor remained peaceful; no new goblins had appeared, and the six students were still waiting for him to provide direction.

'They’re clearly waiting for my lead to exit the hall,' Max noted, watching them. 'This is perfect. I can make good use of this window.'

Determined, Max pulled up his status window to inspect the Magic Bullet skill.

---

[Magic Bullets]

–Rank: [Common]

–Level: 1

–Description: This skill permits the caster to manifest and discharge basic projectiles composed of concentrated magical energy.

---

'Level 1?' Max noted that the skill had progressed from rank 0. 'At this level, I can only fire a single projectile. Level 2 should grant two, level 3 should grant three, and so on… But it’s not just about quantity; the destructive power increases with every level as well.'

He was well aware that leveling up skills was one of the most grueling tasks for any hunter. Many spent more time honing their techniques than they did actually clearing dungeons or hunting monsters.

'Mastery is the key to leveling. You have to truly grasp the mechanics and essence of the skill, which usually takes an eternity,' Max contemplated. He decided to run an experiment.

Assuming a firing stance with his hand, Max unleashed a magic bullet.

A tiny orb of blue light ignited at his fingertip and streaked across the infinite white space like a bullet.

"I was right!" Max cheered, his theory confirmed. "I have infinite uses here! Because I’m in soul form rather than my physical body, I can spam skills without draining my mana."

A sudden realization made his eyes go wide. "Wait, doesn't that make this the ultimate training ground for my skills?"

Repeated use would allow him to dissect the mechanics of the skill, leading to faster mastery and level progression.

Under normal circumstances, this would be a slow process limited by mana capacity; without a mountain of mana crystals, a hunter would quickly run dry. Max, however, was no longer bound by time or energy. The Dimension of Time had removed every obstacle. He could focus entirely on comprehension.

'Even for a no-rank dungeon, I want to take down the boss and the elite goblins. I can't linger in this starting area forever,' Max decided. He resolved to spend exactly three hours of real-world time training his Magic Bullet skill.

---

While only three hours passed outside, Max experienced three grueling years within the Dimension of Time. He spent every moment of those years in relentless practice, focusing his entire being on the Magic Bullet skill.

Though the monotony of training for three years straight tested his sanity, his willpower held firm. He repeated the motions thousands upon thousands of times until his time was finally up.

"I only managed to get Magic Bullet to level 10? This is far too slow," Max grumbled, clearly unhappy. After three years of dedication, reaching only level 10 felt like a failure; he had hoped for level 30 at the very least.

"Is it my own lack of talent, or is skill mastery always this punishing?" he wondered in the silence.

He stood still for a moment, then sighed and shook his head. "Worrying about it won't change anything now."

Max shut his eyes. When he reopened them, he was back in the dungeon, anchored in his physical body. However, the scene greeting him caused a cold sweat to break out across his skin.
