Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1311 An EGO

Max and Lucien confront the manifestations of the Four Divine Beasts, who guard a young man maintaining a powerful sealing forcefield. Inside the field lies a golden crown corrupted by True Origin Devil Blood and a fragment of an evil sword serving as a binding anchor. The beasts reveal that the young man sacrificed his future to seal this malignant energy, which would have otherwise annihilated the mortal world. This catastrophic situation arose from a failed three-way struggle between the beasts, demons, and the world’s crownbearer over the descent of the devil blood. Max learns that higher-level beings from the Divine Realm could not intervene directly, as their immense power would have inadvertently destroyed the very world they sought to protect.

Max and Lucien stood in a heavy, grim silence as they locked eyes. The revelation that Divine Realm inhabitants could annihilate a mortal world simply by arriving was unexpected and terrifying. This knowledge made the catastrophe of the True Origin Devil Blood feel far more ominous than they had previously imagined.

Forcing his mind into a state of focus, Max gave a slight shake of his head before addressing the group. "I bring good news for everyone. You no longer need to exhaust yourselves suppressing the crown or keeping the soul fragment sealed."

The shadowy manifestation of the dragon divine beast stiffened at his words. "What are you implying?" it demanded, its voice laced with sharp suspicion.

"The plan is straightforward," Max explained with a calm demeanor. "We intend to settle this permanently. I am going to reunite the crown and the final soul fragment with the crownbearer. Once he is whole, we will execute him."

The tortoise divine beast let out a heavy, solemn breath that echoed through the room. "Human boy, have you lost your mind?" it asked with a deep rumble. "A crownbearer wields divine authority on par with us divine beasts. In the past, that single crownbearer fought all four of us and the demon horde simultaneously, successfully barring us from the mortal world. Do you honestly believe mere humans can defeat such a being?"

Max gave a casual shrug, appearing completely unbothered by the warning. "I personally slaughtered the four demons. They possessed great strength—extreme strength, even. But in the end, it wasn't enough to stop me."

A stunned, heavy silence descended upon the chamber.

While the Four Divine Beasts had felt the auras of the four demons vanish from the mortal plane, they had assumed the creatures had simply fled back to the Divine Realm. They never suspected that a mortal could have actually killed them.

"How is it possible for a mortal to wield that kind of power?" the dragon divine beast inquired slowly, its voice thick with skepticism.

"I suppose I am not your average mortal," Max answered without a hint of pride. He began walking toward the young man who was struggling to maintain the spherical forcefield.

The young man had clearly followed the conversation, but he was too preoccupied with the intense task of suppressing the crown to speak or move. His face was ghostly pale, and beads of sweat rolled down his temples as he poured his remaining power into the barrier.

Stopping in front of him, Max looked at the sphere containing the sword and the dark red crown. Without a moment's delay, he triggered the fifth level concept of space. The laws of reality warped instantly as he wove a restricted spatial domain around the sphere. As soon as the spatial cage was established, the leaking devil energy was cut off entirely, held in place by Max's power rather than the young man's fading strength.

"This... this is..." the young man stammered, his eyes bulging in disbelief. "The fifth level concept of space."

He gazed at Max as though he were looking at an impossibility. Even within the Divine Realm, mastery over the concept of space was a rare and coveted gift.

Only a few elite powers held such legacies, and even among their ranks, reaching the fifth level at Max's current stage of Cultivation was virtually unheard of. That tier represented the absolute peak of conceptual control—a level of understanding that was thought to be unreachable for most.

The young man had only heard legends of such geniuses. Seeing a mortal standing in front of him utilizing the fifth level concept of space with such casual ease destroyed his entire understanding of what was possible.

Max reached out his hand. With a slight manipulation of the surrounding space, the spherical field drifted away from Jim and floated obediently next to Max. The malevolent devil energy remained perfectly trapped within the spatial prison. "I'll hold onto this for the time being," Max said, his voice reflecting his total control over the situation.

The dragon divine beast watched him with a piercing gaze. "Are you truly committed to the death of your crownbearer?" it asked, sounding both cautious and bewildered.

"Do you think I came here for any other reason?" Max replied instantly, his eyes fixed and steady.

The four divine beasts looked at one another, communicating through ancient, silent thoughts. After a moment, the tortoise divine beast spoke for the group. "In that case, we shall assist you in this fight. We bear responsibility for how this disaster began, and we should be present on the battlefield when it ends."

"Count me in as well," Jim added with a firm voice, despite the clear exhaustion written all over his face.

Max offered a small smile at their determination. "Excellent. With the five of you joining us, our odds have improved significantly."

Suddenly, a thought occurred to him, and he frowned while scanning the chamber again. "Wait. Something doesn't add up. Before entering, we felt six distinct presences. There are four divine beasts and Jim, which makes five. Who is the sixth?"

Jim lifted a hand and pointed at the floating sphere beside Max. "It is right there," he said grimly. "The corrupted crown itself."

Max's eyes turned into thin slits.

"If my suspicions are correct," Jim explained, "the True Origin Devil Blood has spent ten thousand years using the crown's divine authority to develop its own ego. It is a crude, malevolent consciousness born from power and rot. That drop of blood now has a mind of its own."

He took a short breath before continuing, "When you and Lucien stepped into this room, that ego detected your dangerous and unfamiliar presence. It retreated into the crown to hide. It currently has the intellect of an infant, acting on pure instinct rather than logic."

For the first time in a long while, Max felt like swearing. A single drop of blood had not only corrupted a world and ruined a crownbearer, but it had also evolved into a sentient being by consuming divine authority. The scale of the threat was staggering.

"So we aren't just dealing with blood anymore," Max muttered, his face darkening with concern. "It has become a living calamity."
