Chrysalis Chapter 1738 - A Smashing Good Time
Previously on Chrysalis...
Tiny felt a bit annoyed when his master suddenly released a burst of explosive energy and a raging inferno skyward. Numerous small shiny folks got toppled or scorched, and they stayed down for good. That meant far fewer targets left for Tiny to smash!
Even so, the massive ape refused to let this chance slip by, charging straight into the fray while whooping gleefully amid his thunderous battle roars. With his tiny sibling perched on his shoulder, Tiny pounded his fists down onto the ground, quaking the terrain and cracking the rocks before rising tall and whirling his arms to stretch his shoulders.
Electric currents raced wildly through his muscles, with heavy arcs of lightning twisting along his limbs, eager to break free, and he was thrilled to set them loose.
To start, he had to get his left side properly heated up.
Bending low and lifting his fists high, Tiny shielded his head and fell into a steady beat, hopping lightly on his toes, stepping side to side, ducking and weaving as the nearby small figures spun around and aimed their blades at him. His lengthy ears twitched with focus, then he rooted his forward foot and—
BAMBAMBAMBAM!
A barrage of strikes, blurring too quick for the eye, erupted like a blast and echoed like crashing thunder. Brilliant flashes exploded from his knuckles and slammed into the small figures ahead. Sure, they wore shields and plating, but how could those withstand the might of Tiny's punch?

Their armor splintered and shattered right from the initial onslaught. Any who stood firm got hurled backward, while those attempting to evade fared slightly better, though not by a wide margin.
With flawless steps, Tiny glided forward at a brisk pace and elegant flow. He stayed perfectly poised, poised to transfer his stance, to glide aside, to press on or pull back. Prior to their getaway, Tiny anchored his foot anew, sensing the twist deep in his frame as he drew back his fist, channeling strength from his legs, torso, and upper body before exploding it forth in yet another swift salvo.
BAMBAMBAMBAMBAMBAM!
Six blows this round. So swift that the opening one hadn't connected before the final was launched. Now he freed the crackling lightning too, hurling bands of energy as wide as a person's thigh (nowhere near as bulky as Tiny's own!) that leaped toward the figures in his path.
He sensed this choice might not sit well with his foes, based on their frantic responses, but since his master had instructed him to go all out upon entering the battle, Tiny planned to follow through. Besides, he figured his left arm was now nicely loosened.
Flashing a fierce smile with eyes glowing crimson, Tiny thumped his palms against his torso, drumming a sharp alert to everyone close by before lifting onto his toes once more. He hopped gently, twirling and shifting, dipping and dodging, until... at last, he seized the instant.
A subtle turn of his shoulders sufficed, needing little to build the momentum. His leading foot planted firm as his knee angled in, coiling his mass while the inner lightning sources hummed louder, ramping up their surge even more.
Once his stance felt ideal, Tiny fired off the Ultimate Kong Straight Right.
Power flooded his form. Radiance collected at his knuckles' edge, so intense it nearly dazzled. Heavy streams of electricity surged up his back and along his limb, piling on quicker and quicker as his punch thrust forward.
His balance pivoted, front limb extending while the rear one twisted in. From heels to hands, to upper arms and midsection, every part synced flawlessly to produce peak impact.
Ahead of him, the clash faded away as Tiny experienced a rush of triumph so intense it blanked his sight. Then he understood it was merely the eruption of his ability and the searing glare from the bolts erupting from his grip.
Once the dust settled, nothing remained in his front, which struck Tiny as logical. If they chose flight, they showed wisdom, and if they opted to resist, well, they weren't around now. After all, it was Tiny's dominant hand at work.
Shrugging his shoulders, the gorilla with bat-like features growled contentedly. He felt limber at last. He might even deliver a mightier strike next time. Glancing upward to his perch, he spotted his small companion still clinging, gazing down with that single large eye. Tiny shot him a thumbs-up.
The small companion mirrored the sign.
Tiny leaped away in search of fresh opponents to pummel.
