The Divine Formation of the Heavens unleashed two powerful strikes within the Primeval Divine Hall, showcasing enhanced strength from the assembly of fifty thousand Nine-heavenly Xuan Immortals, leaving twenty percent of their energy intact for robust defense. Jian Chen marveled at the formation's growth, envisioning its future might as more powerful cultivators joined. A sudden tremor in his soul drew his attention to seven dormant specks of light in his sea of consciousness—remnants of ancient experts seeking rebirth. He channeled a heavenly resource to awaken one, manifesting as a beautiful winged woman who recalled their desperate plan to evade death and the binding oath among them, only to recoil in shock at the overwhelming power of his soul.

“Senior, are you talking about me?”

Right after the woman completed her words, a voice abruptly echoed from behind her. Jian Chen’s form materialized without a sound, gazing at the woman with a subtle grin.

The woman with wings fixed her eyes directly on Jian Chen. Her expression turned grave. She declared seriously, “Are you the young one who received my golden core of laws?”

“Indeed, it was me!” Jian Chen gave a light smile. He cupped his hands and stated, “What occurred between us in the past amounted to merely an agreement: you bestowed your golden core of laws upon me, and in return, I triggered its power to utterly obliterate Gusta’s body. Yet, no matter what, I must express my gratitude to you, senior, for that gift from before.”

The woman’s countenance slowly darkened. She grasped the implication in Jian Chen’s words. He was making it clear that their past dealings were nothing more than a transaction. No debts remained between them.

“I never imagined our sleep would last this extended. You were so insignificant then, but now you’ve grown tremendously strong,” the woman uttered gravely. She peered into Jian Chen’s sea of consciousness, already detecting its formidable might.

In her prime state, the present Jian Chen would clearly present no danger to her whatsoever. He wouldn’t even qualify as an insect.

However, at this point, she had not just forfeited her physical form and cultivation base, but her soul stood profoundly weak as well.

Given her soul’s existing power, she clearly faced a vast disparity in strength against Jian Chen’s sea of consciousness. It seemed as though she confronted an invincible foe.

At the same time, a horrifying pressure that sent shivers through her emanated from the core of Jian Chen’s sea of consciousness.

These combined elements filled the freshly awakened woman with a sense of hopelessness.

“No, your slumber hasn’t truly extended that far. My power has simply advanced rather swiftly.” Jian Chen kept his faint smile. He explained calmly, “Still, weren’t you seniors supposed to have perished entirely back then? Your remnant wills even scattered, so how did you all wind up inside my soul unexpectedly? You didn’t mention anything like this occurring previously.”

His statement instantly altered the woman’s expression. It appeared she struggled to offer a justification. She realized too that Jian Chen, with his present cultivation level, wasn’t as gullible as he once was.

Left somewhat at a loss, she promptly connected with the other six souls. Simultaneously, she channeled strands of her soul’s energy to them. Her ethereal form swiftly diminished as her soul power drained rapidly.

Jian Chen observed quietly. He detected her actions but chose not to intervene.

“Hmm? Where is this…”

“Have I finally awakened? I wonder how long we’ve been sleeping for, but regardless, we’ve finally earned a second chance at life. Hahahaha…”

“That’s strange. Who am I? Why can’t I recall it completely…”

......

In short order, all six additional souls stirred to life. Following a brief bout of memory loss, they successively remembered the events of the past. They comprehended all that had transpired up to now.

“A change in the situation? What change?”

“You actually sacrificed the power of your own soul to awaken us. This is unheard of. And I had thought that the first to awaken would swallow this kid’s soul…”

“How is the kid who inherited our golden cores of laws back then doing? How strong is he? Has he reached our standard? Though, since we’ve awakened at the same time, clearly no one can claim him all for themselves. Let’s split him evenly…”

The later-awakening experts obviously failed to grasp their dire circumstances. Their words escaped instinctively.

“Shut up!” The winged woman’s visage grew as grim as possible. She barked to hush them swiftly, fearing these clueless individuals might worsen things further.

Only then did the six freshly stirred souls detect the irregularity. They ceased speaking at once and surveyed their environment. Before long, every face among them shifted dramatically.

“What a formidable soul. This belongs to a Ninth Heavenly Layer Chaotic Prime at minimum, and several other dreadful auras linger as well…” someone exclaimed right away.

“Is this truly the junior who took our golden core of laws? How did he grow so mighty? By rights, our sleep couldn’t have lasted that long…”

“I am Jian Chen. Congratulations on your awakening, seniors.” Jian Chen cupped his hands and inclined his head toward them respectfully as a junior. A subtle smile played on his lips.

Regardless of the fearsome reputations these seven experts held in their prior existences, they now resembled helpless targets.

All the souls grew quiet. They had grasped their current plight. The youth who once seemed as insignificant as an ant had transformed into such a powerhouse. He held the power to erase them effortlessly. Such an outcome lay beyond their expectations.

“Origin Composition Daemon Exalt, it’s all up to you now,” one soul declared gravely.

Moments later, among the six souls, one transformed into a tiny figure no larger than a palm. Clad in dark robes with streaked hair, he possessed a hooked nose and a visage etched with deep lines.

“I am the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt. The golden core of the Laws of Curses you received back then came from me.” The elderly man with the hooked nose regarded Jian Chen intently. Though shocked by Jian Chen’s achievements, he avoided the panic and desperation shown by the rest.

“However, my Laws of Curses differ from others’. Inheriting my path proves far from simple,” the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt remarked with a cryptic smile.

The instant after, Jian Chen’s brows knitted faintly. A disturbance stirred within his sea of consciousness.

He noticed his grasp of the Laws of Curses crumbling steadily. It resembled a path being cut off, ruthlessly yanking away his understanding.

Soon enough, shards of the ways floated across Jian Chen’s sea of consciousness akin to falling snow, only to be drawn into the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt’s soul. These way fragments proved immensely revitalizing for him. His soul expanded visibly before the eyes.

Jian Chen felt astonishment. Right then, he plainly felt his insight into the Laws of Curses draining away relentlessly. He found it hard to accept that the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt, in his weakened state, could wrest his comprehension so aggressively and savagely. It defied comprehension.

Jian Chen guessed inwardly.

“I had fused the Shared Fate technique into my ways long ago. With your absorption of my golden core of laws, you naturally carry the imprint of the Shared Fate technique too.”

“The Shared Fate technique serves as an inherent gift of my race. When activated, destinies intertwine. Your life becomes mine, and my demise becomes yours. Two souls shall jointly inhabit a single form…”

“Junior, I embedded the Shared Fate technique previously as a contingency. Truthfully, I hesitated to employ it. Upon activation, I must exert considerable effort to dominate and seize the primary position, thereby gaining control over the body.”

“Once I secure the primary spot, I’ll need to consume vast energy to dissolve the Shared Fate technique, freeing myself from your linked destiny. Only then might I act against you.”

“Historically, my race deployed the Shared Fate technique against unbeatable foes. It targeted superiors for a shot at endurance. You’re just a Chaotic Prime, yet I deign to apply it personally to you. Consider it an honor,” the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt proclaimed assertively.

Employing the shards from the Laws of Curses, he partially restored his soul. Concurrently, activating the Shared Fate technique, his soul commenced blending with Jian Chen’s.

This innate power was crafted specifically for overwhelming stronger adversaries. Its imposition proved intensely compelling and exceedingly hard to resist.

Upon learning the intricacies of the Shared Fate technique, the remaining experts exhaled in relief. They had bound themselves with way oaths against betrayal until reclaiming Grand Prime status. Should the Origin Composition Daemon Exalt bind his fate to Jian Chen’s via the technique, Jian Chen couldn’t harm them without consequence.
