Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1141: Crisis of the Hivemind

The people working on the foundation of the Summoning Arts Tower were indeed from the beastkin that Vale had rescued in the Celestial Prison Realm’s Beast Arts Tower.

Well, it wasn’t a random assignment to them at all. Their group didn’t want to live in a city.

With that in consideration, they were always living close to nature... the trees, the lake, the animals, and all.

Furthermore, they had an incredible talent for reading the terrain.

Vale didn’t even have to find the perfect location for the Arcane Arts Towers and just used their suggestions.

Needless to say, the Alchemy Arts Tower’s location was also selected by the beastmen. It would be placed in the southern meadows, where herbs and rare plants grew in abundance. The fertile land would provide endless resources for potion brewing and pill refinement.

The Rune Arts Tower would be placed in the northern cliffs, where stone and mineral veins had already been detected but hadn’t been mined yet.

It was the perfect place for inscribers and rune‑makers to carve their craft into the minerals of the earth.

The Beast Arts Tower would be built near the frontier valleys, close to the habitats of mystical beasts. Students there would learn not only to tame but to coexist with creatures of power... Although mystical beasts are rare, with the recent abundance of Arcane Energy, invasion from the Abyss Realm, and the spread of Divinity, it wouldn’t really be surprising if the mystical creatures started to evolve and grow stronger.

The Psychic Arts Tower would be placed near the central plains, where the flow of people and trade would give psychics endless minds to study and influence.

The Transformation Arts Tower would be stationed in the northern forests, where mist and shadow created a natural environment for metamorphic rites.

The Primordial Chaos Arts Tower would be hidden in the wastes of the west, a stabilized anomaly zone where chaos could be studied under strict control.

The Spirit Arts Tower would rise near the Great Lake District... For no other reason aside from the place being close to a cemetery...

The Void Arts Tower would be stationed at the edge of the Shadow Domain itself... Since they really don’t have other better places.

Finally, the Celestial Arts Tower would be built in the eastern highlands, atop a plateau, since the Beastmen confirmed that it was a good spot during the nighttime...

Vale wryly smiled as he realized that there were indeed a lot of things to be done...

He checked the map of his territory within his Storage Ring, and as he looked at the map, he visualized each relocation spot of the Towers and confirmed that it was covering the whole Shadow Domain.

Now, he just needs to check the progress.

Vale quickly moved toward the mountain range where the Summoning Arts Tower was to be relocated. As he ascended, the temperature grew colder, but it was not a problem...

Soon, he found the flattened mountain where the Tower would be placed later on.

It was here that the beastmen labored, carving foundations further into the mountainside.

Even from after, Vale could hear the sound of chisels and hammers across the cliffs.

Beastkin of varying tribes, from wolf-kin, bear-kin, and bird-kin.

They all worked tirelessly as their bodies had already adapted to the rough terrain...

Vale appeared among them without warning. Still, with their heightened senses, they immediately felt his existence...

The beastmen paused with their ears twitching as they recognized him.

Some bowed their heads respectfully, others simply straightened their backs as pride could be seen in their eyes.

"You’ve done well," Vale said. It was heard across the worksite, and everyone immediately felt happy after hearing that.

A wolf‑kin foreman stepped forward. "Lord Vale, the foundation is nearly complete. By tomorrow, the Array will be ready to anchor the Tower. The mountain itself welcomes the structure."

Vale nodded, satisfied. He had trusted the beastmen with this task for a reason.

They had no desire to live in crowded cities, preferring the embrace of nature. Their instincts for terrain were unmatched, and their bond with the land made them ideal stewards of the Summoning Arts Tower for some time.

"I brought something for you," Vale said, producing a small chest from his Storage Ring. Inside were Arcane Crystals and enchanted tools, rewards for their labor. "Your work deserves recognition. Use these to strengthen your tribes."

The beastmen swiftly expressed their gratitude... This was one of the reasons they were loyal to him after all. They were benefiting a lot from the Shadow Immortal’s aid.

Vale extended his Divine Sense briefly, brushing over the foundation...

"Mhmmm... This is good."

He could already feel that this would become a bustling place someday... It would be a place where contracts with otherworldly beings would be forged, where students would call forth creatures from realms beyond.

Vale’s eyes then turned on the mist‑covered peaks. With the Summoning Arts Tower to be anchored here, the western range would become a natural barrier...

He already liked the future of this mountain range with the Arcane Arts Tower...

After confirming a few more things, he finally turned to leave...

"Continue your work. I’ll return when the Tower can be safely built here."

The beastmen acknowledged, and soon, they watched him depart.

They were all feeling proud of their work. For them, this was more than construction. It was an agreement with Vale, a promise that would truly make them part of the Shadow Domain.

"Alright... Let’s see what they want this time..." Vale muttered, referring to the people outside his Tower.

He decided to visit the Psychic Arts Faction’s Oracle Hivemind if they were still waiting there.

And to his surprise, they were indeed all still there, waiting patiently in silence.

He had not given them any answer, nor had he promised to meet them, yet they remained.

"They seem desperate..." Vale thought as he used his Divine Sense and confirmed that they were all Psychic Arts Practitioners, no spy whatsoever.

For them to wait this long without complaint meant the problem they carried was not trivial.

When Vale stepped closer, the group finally felt relieved as the Shadow Immortal had given them a chance.

"Immortal Vale..." It was the oldest Arcanist who spoke first.

"We have come because our faction faces a crisis. We cannot resolve it alone."
