Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method Chapter 2824: 576: The Collector of Oddities, the Sealer of Myriad Demons!

Previously on Wizard: Starting With the Knights Breathing Method...
Elena continues her rapid growth across multiple cultivation paths, prompting Levi to urge caution before he departs for a year-long seclusion within the Dark Ancient Tower. Meanwhile, the Abyss and Nightmare World are in turmoil as high-ranking lords react to the capture of the Poison Smoke Lady and the growing influence of the Dusk Palace Master. In the wizarding world, the revolutionary Super God One Potion is unveiled to bolster the spiritual force of low-level wizards. Amidst these shifting powers, Triss prepares to use her accumulated war merits to secure a rare artifact as new supplies finally arrive in the exchange store.

"This is as much assistance as I can provide."

He felt a deep sense of satisfaction regarding Triss’s natural aptitude and her grasp of the pharmacist’s craft. The legendary Medicine God had already begun grooming her to be the successor of the entire association.

In an objective sense, however, while Triss’s current talent guaranteed she could become a Grand Wizard, the prospects of her reaching the legendary realm remained slim.

It would be a catastrophic loss for the world of pharmacy if she failed to achieve legendary status. Consequently, the elderly Medicine God felt compelled to grant Triss a degree of special guidance.

Much like Edmund, the Thousand Mountains Immortal was a veteran of the previous era, with only a few millennia of lifespan remaining. Before he eventually entered reincarnation to begin his cultivation anew, he aimed to produce more ninth-circle pharmacists and perhaps even another "Medicine God" for the new era of Nora.

"Strive for your own growth."

...

Dark Ancient Tower.

The eighth level, Valoran Continent.

The calendar marked the year 1100 of the Tianqi.

Due to Levi’s preoccupation with hunting for treasures within the Ninth Layer, his appearances in the Three Realms and Four Lands were rare, causing the Ultimate Saint to become a figure of myth among the vast Human population. Currently, Levi was listening to a report from the Saint Council, nodding his head in approval at various points.

Growth had hit a bottleneck once the count of Level 6 Saints and primordial soul wizards surpassed forty. The initial surge of the millennium had concluded; what remained was the slow, arduous process of building Foundation and grinding through accumulation. No civilization can sustain explosive expansion forever, as it contradicts the natural laws of historical progression. Levi calculated that the maximum capacity for Humans within the Rune Land was approximately one hundred Level 6 powerhouses.

In all other respects, matters proceeded as usual.

The Flame Wolf Saint had successfully reached the Late Stage of Level 8. Within the Three Realms and Four Lands, he was now a premier combatant, rivaled only by a handful of esteemed figures.

He spoke up:

"Saint, a new point of intersection manifested in the Heart Sea recently. Shortly after, a Level 8 Peak ferocious beast emerged. It appears to be an ape-like creature with a mastery over lightning. Two Level 8 experts from the Merfolk Palace were driven back with ease.

A man was seen standing upon the head of that beast; he seems to be an outsider and the beast’s master. He is currently launching an assault on the Three Realms and Four Lands. Shouldn't we mobilize our forces? If the lips are gone, the teeth will be cold; if the Three Realms and Four Lands fall, we will certainly be the next targets."

Hearing this, Levi replied with a serious expression:

"I understand. I shall go there myself. Ensure the Rune Land is strictly guarded to prevent any further incursions from outsiders."

"Understood."

The Dark Ancient Tower had occasionally pulled in unstable elements before, such as the Golden Absolutes Race, but Levi had never given them much thought until now.

Prior to his departure, he bequeathed the visualization maps and the methods for crafting Knight Cards to the local knight families, allowing them the opportunity to study the craft.

...

Heart Sea.

The Merfolk King was reclining on his bed, attended to by a group of merfolk handmaidens.

"Ow, be gentler, that hurts... I have no idea where that monster of a man came from. The Three Realms and Four Lands are falling into turmoil again. I just hope he isn't another terrifying figure like the Ultimate Saint."

The Merfolk King muttered to himself.

"Is there something wrong with me?"

The sudden voice caused the Merfolk King to leap from his bed in a panic, reflexively offering a salute: "What brings your presence here?"

He recognized the familiar silhouette of the black-armored swordsman. The handmaidens were trembling, not daring to gaze upon his majestic aura.

"I was told a ferocious beast has appeared in the Heart Sea?"

"Indeed, that beast is being controlled by an outsider. I was no match for him and had to surrender the treasures the Merfolk Palace spent years collecting just to stay alive."

"What is its current location?"

"The reports say it is currently sieging the Ice Realm."

...

Ice Realm.

Two Level 8 white bears stood at the head of their tribe, staring grimly at the beast and the man before them. The man was clad in purple armor and possessed a massive frame, with a purple ring encircling his arm. Beneath him stood a purple giant ape, ten thousand meters in height and wreathed in crackling lightning.

"Surrender your treasures; I am not fond of unnecessary killing," the man stated. He spoke in the common tongue of the Saint Roland Continent, though his speech was clumsy, evidently learned recently.

The Leader of the White Bear Clan countered:

"Are you not aware that the Three Realms and Four Lands fall under the protection of the Ultimate Saint?"

The man’s brow furrowed.

"The Ultimate Saint? I have never heard of such a person."

The Merfolk King had previously attempted to intimidate him with that same name.

He had been pulled into this realm by accident and found it to be a secluded world devoid of truly powerful masters. With his Level 8 Peak Cultivation, he believed he could dominate this place. Thus, he had decided to pillage resources while searching for an exit.

Seeing that the White Bear Clan refused to budge, his patience evaporated.

"Oswald, subdue them. Just inflict minor injuries. Once we find our way out of here, we won't have to deal with these people ever again." He remained unaware that he was trapped within the Dark Ancient Tower, clinging to the false hope of escape.

Below, the purple ape brandished a club of spikes forged from intense lightning. Every swing unleashed a violent tide of the Thunder Sea. The frost barriers of the White Bear Clan shook violently, their endurance reaching its limit.

The Clan Leader, the White King, looked on with anxiety, frequently glancing toward the horizon.

History suggested that the Ultimate Saint appeared once every hundred years. He had an intuitive feeling that if the Saint were aware of this situation, he would not remain a mere spectator.

Half a day later, the defensive shield of the White Bear Clan finally shattered.

The purple ape smashed through the ice wall with its spiked club, letting out a roar as it trampled into the White Bear army, tossing warriors aside like dolls. It was a complete slaughter.

Suddenly, a flash of light descended.

No one could discern exactly what had occurred, but the purple ape suddenly shrieked in pain and collapsed with a heavy thud, kicking up clouds of frozen dust.

"What happened? Oswald?"

The man scanned his surroundings but saw no one. Terror began to take hold of him, ending only when a heavy, powerful hand came to rest upon his shoulder.
