Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys Chapter 1421 - 486: Trena’s Mission
Previously on Wizard starting from shoeing donkeys...
"Wait, three heads?"
Rein was genuinely startled to see his 'Double Head' ability evolve into 'Three Heads.'
Yet, a sense of confusion lingered within him.
Logically, consuming the essence of a Demigod-level creature like Gazrian should have been sufficient to push his bloodline concentration to a new peak.
"Based on the system's logs, the concentration has increased, but I haven't actually broken through to the next tier. Is it possible that the 'Pure Blood' stage of the Dragon Bloodline is the ceiling?"
"No, that doesn't seem right."
Rein paused to reflect, meticulously reviewing the system notifications once more.
His mind raced when he caught sight of the phrase 'Bloodline Mutation.'
"The issue might lie in the fact that Gazrian doesn't possess a lineage of a pure Giant Dragon."
"Instead of raising my Dragon Bloodline concentration directly, it seems the energy was diverted to evolve the 'Double Head' special ability."
Rein felt confident he had pinpointed the cause.
To find a definitive answer, however, he would likely need to delve into ancient archives.
"But still... three dragon heads?"
"Isn't that the same physical form as Gazrian?"
"Actually, no. Upon transformation, I would have a dragon's torso with three heads, looking more like that monster Ghidorah from the films of my past life."
...
While Rein was lost in his thoughts, two massive dragons—one a fiery red and the other a dusty yellow—descended from the heavens in tandem.
The three newly arrived experts approached the fallen 'Ice Sea Giant Demon' Gazrian with caution. Upon verifying that the beast was truly deceased, they were struck with disbelief.
"Gazrian is really dead?"
The three exchanged looks, their faces reflecting a mixture of shock and bewilderment.
While their combined strike was undeniably potent, their primary goal at the time had been to shatter the Nether Sea Domain. They hadn't actually expected to slay Gazrian outright.
As they inspected the corpse, they noted the specific wounds on Gazrian’s three heads: one appeared crushed by a colossal boulder, another had been severed by a keen edge, and the head on the left was pierced by a metallic Throwing Spear.
It seemed clear that the first head fell to Reginald’s Dawn Killing Move, 'Giant Rock Throwing,' while the center head was taken by Terrio’s 'Super Divine Cross Slash.'
The metal Throwing Spear, meanwhile, was evidently Rein's handiwork.
Still, even with Rein's contribution, Gazrian should have survived.
It was as if the demon had been pushed to the brink of exhaustion before they even arrived...
Allowing the three of them to finish him off with ease.
"Rein, are you hurt? Also, were you the one engaging Gazrian just now?" Menia, wearing her crimson Wizard Robe, asked as she moved toward him.
"I appreciate the concern, Prince Menia. My thanks also go to Crown Reginald and Lord Terrio for arriving so quickly," Rein answered.
"To answer your question, yes and no. It was the Avatar of the Nether Sea Goddess Hela who was locked in a brutal struggle with Gazrian. I was simply caught in the crossfire and used some witchcraft to shield myself."
"I just happened to see the three Crowns launch an attack that crippled two of the heads, so I seized the chance to strike as well."
Rein had no intention of revealing the full story.
He had already displayed an alarming amount of talent and was drawing too much attention.
Claiming credit for the death of Gazrian was unnecessary at this stage.
"That makes sense," Terrio, the Federation Sword Saint, said with a nod, taking the explanation at face value.
However, the Red Queen Menia and Earth Pulse Reginald traded a skeptical glance.
They both found it strange—why would the Nether Sea Goddess Hela choose this specific moment to target Gazrian? It seemed illogical.
Nevertheless, they couldn't push Rein for more details while the Federation Sword Saint was present.
Just then, a pale blue glow flickered in the distant horizon.
"Crown Hernandez is nearly here," Sword Saint Terrio remarked with a grin.
Hmm?
Menia and Reginald looked at each other once more.
Perhaps the Nether Sea Goddess Hela had sensed the approach of a Federation powerhouse and decided to act against Gazrian before his arrival?
Looking at it from that perspective, Rein's explanation seemed plausible.
...
At the same time.
Inside the Federation’s massive Airship.
The high-ranking officers in the command center wore strange expressions, caught between amazement, relief, and utter confusion.
They had watched as Menia and Reginald, the Imperial Dragon Knights, broke free from the storm.
Shortly thereafter, the entire Nether Sea Domain began to evaporate.
Below them lay the massive remains of the Ancient Giant Beast—the 'Ice Sea Giant Demon' Gazrian.
The sight was staggering!
"Did three Epic-level masters really kill Gazrian and shatter the Nether Sea Domain with just one coordinated strike? This... it's hard to believe..."
"I'm not doubting the strength of our Epic powerhouses, but earlier, four of them together couldn't finish him off. How did the tide turn so abruptly?"
"Something must have transpired within that Nether Sea Domain that we couldn't see."
"By the way, that young Imperial prodigy Rein was right there when Gazrian fell. Could he have played a part?"
"Unlikely. It's more probable that the Nether Sea Goddess was involved."
"..."
The generals engaged in heated debate.
The sudden shift in the battle was simply too fast to process.
Furthermore, the events that took place inside the domain were a complete mystery to them.
"Sirs, a Messenger has arrived! Lord Terrio reports that the Nether Sea Goddess has retreated and the 'Ice Sea Giant Demon' Gazrian is confirmed dead," an aide shouted.
"Excellent! Order the airship fleet to advance immediately!" Vice Speaker Bertrand commanded with a firm nod.
