Urban Seduction: Housewives Club Chapter 4 Restless Thoughts

Previously on Urban Seduction: Housewives Club...
After returning to his seat alongside Ye Yunqi, Ye Fei encounters his class teacher, Yu Wuxia, an alluring woman whose sophisticated appearance and provocative figure quickly command the room's attention. Having recently returned from a summer at a military camp, Ye Fei finds himself newly awakened to the feminine form and struggles to maintain his composure. When the teacher leans over his desk to check on him, he is captivated by her revealing neckline, earning himself a quiet rebuke and a flushed reaction from the teacher. This display of distraction does not go unnoticed by Lin Ling, who confronts Ye Fei with visible resentment over his wandering eyes.

Recognizing that the girl was likely feeling a bit envious, Ye Fei flashed a quick grin and offered a compliment. "It was good, but it can't compare to you, Ling!"

Lin Ling gave a cold snort and turned a blind eye to him. Despite the rejection, Ye Fei maintained a sheepish smile and insisted, "Come on, Ling, let me have a look."

Lin Ling merely shifted her gaze away. Chuckling to himself, Ye Fei pulled out his phone and began browsing. In the military camp, mobile device usage was strictly forbidden, and his internet access was capped at two hours daily via the restricted military network. There wasn't much on that network to capture his attention anyway.

No one, not even his own kin, suspected that Ye Fei was the invincible hacker known as "Fragile as a Breeze" in the digital realm. It was a mystery how a boy with such a frail constitution possessed such unrivaled computer talent. Since the age of thirteen, he had dominated the virtual world despite his limited daily connection time. He even possessed the ability to bypass the security of the central intelligence station belonging to the Americana Empire, the great power of the West. Over the last three years, he had become a living legend online. Yet, nobody realized this legendary figure was actually a sixteen-year-old youth who would be gasping for air after climbing just four flights of stairs.

In the past, Ye Fei usually spent his time on hacking forums. Today, however, he found himself suddenly bored with them. He aimlessly navigated through various websites on his phone, clicking and closing tabs as he quickly lost interest in each one.

Suddenly, while browsing a minor forum, a link with a classical name caught his eye—Greek Palace. Driven by curiosity, Ye Fei clicked it and found himself on a novel website. Remembering that many of his peers were fond of reading stories, Ye Fei’s interest was piqued, and he randomly selected a book to start reading.

Ye Fei possessed a high reading speed. By the time noon arrived, he had nearly finished an entire novel. While the prose wasn't masterful, the plot was gripping. For someone who had spent his life confined between his home and school, the story significantly expanded his horizons. He remained deeply absorbed in the narrative until the voice of Ye Yunqi broke his concentration.

Just as they had done during their freshman year, the siblings opted not to head home for lunch. After a short conversation with Ye Yunqi, she headed downstairs to fetch their food. Although Ye Fei felt reluctant about his sister waiting on him every day, his physical limitations made the four-flight staircase a daunting obstacle he couldn't overcome.

The classroom grew silent as everyone except Ye Fei departed. Feeling a bit bored, he shook his head and dove back into the world of the novel on his phone. The setting described in the book was fascinating, particularly the depictions of intimate relationships, which fascinated him. However, he felt a surge of frustration whenever the author cut the scene short at the most critical moments, leaving him feeling quite helpless.

Ye Fei finished the book before Ye Yunqi could return. It wasn't that the story had concluded, but rather that he had caught up to the latest update. Feeling a sense of anxiety, he wished he could hunt down the author and force them to tell him the rest of the tale. Knowing that was an impossible fantasy, he reluctantly moved on to a different novel.

First High School was famous for its rigorous academic standards, and intense lessons had already commenced on the very first day. While Ye Fei used to find classes enjoyable, they seemed dull now. He spent the entire afternoon immersed in novels, discovering a vibrant and marvelous way of existence. Looking back at his own history, he realized just how monotonous his life had truly been.

During this period, he even reached out to several authors to acquire their raw, unedited manuscripts. The vivid and explicit descriptions within these versions stirred his blood, leaving him in a state of excitement. He found himself unable to resist stealing several glances at Lin Ling sitting beside him. During Yu Wuxia's lecture, he spent a long time greedily observing her curvaceous figure, wondering if the stories were warping his mind, as he even found himself stealing a few looks at Ye Yunqi.

Once school ended, Ye Fei finally stowed his phone away, though his thoughts drifted into a world of fantasy. He wondered what it would be like to be a protagonist from his books, wandering through a garden of flowers and sampling all the beauties of the world. It sounded wonderful. It seemed as though he possessed the necessary traits, too. Regarding family status, he was easily among the top three in Wanghai, the largest southern city. In terms of talent, his reputation as a genius hacker alone could make countless women swoon. As for his physical appearance, that was beyond question. He truly seemed destined to be a main character.

However, the reality of his physical health quickly crashed down on him. With a body as weak as his, wandering through a garden of flowers was a pipe dream; he might not even have the stamina to handle Lin Ling alone. It appeared that novels were merely fiction, and a massive chasm existed between stories and reality.

Feeling discouraged after dousing his own spirits, Ye Fei slumped in his seat. Lin Ling, who had been observing him, noticed his dejection and asked, "Ye Fei... um, is something wrong?"

Lost in his own head, Ye Fei blurted out without thinking, "I'm just worried that since my body is so frail, how will I ever be able to satisfy you in the future?"

Lin Ling was no innocent child and immediately grasped his meaning. Her face turned bright red as she spat out, "Pervert!"

Only after the words escaped did Ye Fei realize what he had said. He attempted to explain himself, but the embarrassed Lin Ling refused to hear a word of it.

Left with no choice, Ye Fei gave a bitter smile and leaned against his desk, staring into space. He felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction with his physical state, yet he was powerless to change it. Despite his best efforts at the military camp over the last two months, he had ended up collapsing from exhaustion every time. His natural constitution seemed to doom him to a life of weakness.

With a heavy sigh, he wondered if the techniques provided by that old man were actually useful. Years ago, he had met a peculiar old man who claimed he possessed a unique constitution. The memory was a bit hazy, but it was definitely described as a special condition. The old man had instructed him in a specific technique, vowing that diligent practice would eventually allow him to open his Meridians. Once that happened, his sickly nature would vanish, and he would become incredibly powerful.

At that time, Ye Fei had recently been bullied by thugs and craved strength. He had followed the old man's guidance and practiced every day for years, yet his physical power showed no signs of improvement. Instead, his body had simply undergone a rapid growth spurt. Once quite short, he had caught up to and even surpassed many of his classmates in height.

While getting taller should have been a benefit, it was a curse for Ye Fei. The extra height brought a significant increase in weight, making his already limited mobility even more difficult. Now, even a simple task like climbing four flights of stairs required him to stop and rest halfway up.
