"Don’t bother chasing her. She just can’t wrap her head around it right now. Once she cools off, she’ll come crawling back to find you."
Wang Yue’s voice echoed from behind. Li Yingying turned sharply, spotting Wang Yue—who had been "severely wounded" and stuck in place earlier—now standing tall. He was nonchalantly checking out the huge opening her master’s palm attack had smashed into the wall.
"Man, the Transcendence Realm is something else," Wang Yue murmured, letting out a low whistle of awe. "A wall this thick, and she just smashes right through it like it’s nothing? Even I couldn’t manage that."
"Is that really what you’re focused on at this moment?" Li Yingying shot back, her anger finally boiling over.
She was truly furious. Wang Yue’s handling of her master had crossed every boundary. When her master had smashed him into a ’gory mess,’ she felt it was justified. She hadn’t even moved to aid him, thinking it might calm her master’s fury.
But who could have guessed? The man had been pretending all along.
Pretending was bad enough, yet with her master now departed, he behaved as if nothing happened. Utter indifference. Was this the infamous ’hit it and quit it’ mindset?
"What else should I be concerned with? Fretting over your master? I couldn’t catch up to her regardless," Wang Yue laughed lightly. "Listen, I told you—let her be for the moment. Given her power level now, no one in Tianhai can lay a finger on her. After she sorts out her thoughts, she’ll return."
"My master despises you at this instant. She likely despises me as well. She won’t return," Li Yingying replied dejectedly. Had she foreseen this, she wouldn’t have heeded Wang Yue. If they’d simply departed after aiding her master in stabilizing her strength, things wouldn’t have escalated so dramatically.
"Despise is fleeting. When the anger fades, she’ll crave the pleasures again," Wang Yue remarked. His pants remained undone. He gestured toward his groin, where his member hung limp between his thighs, flashing a cocky smile. "Even if she doesn’t miss me, she’ll surely miss this. Once a woman experiences what I offer, it sticks with her forever."
"You are absolutely shameless!" Li Yingying exclaimed, her cheeks burning crimson. She muttered quietly, "Keep dreaming, you braggart."
"Am I exaggerating? You could test it out yourself to see," Wang Yue joked. "What do you say? Up for a session right here?"
"No way!" Li Yingying rejected firmly, her blush intensifying. For starters, her master had left, and she wasn’t feeling it. Moreover, she was genuinely intimidated by Wang Yue’s wild intensity with her master before.
Her brother-in-law was a monster. She was merely a youthful woman—lacking her master’s developed form or her extraordinary cultivation. Could she withstand him?
Sensing her thoughts, Wang Yue gentled his voice right away. "Hey, relax. With your master, I had to go hard to push her past the breakthrough. Normally, I’m quite tender with my women."
"Let’s wait until my master returns," Li Yingying declared firmly.
Wang Yue realized his sister-in-law appeared delicate, yet she was unyieldingly determined when decided. He lacked the desire to pressure her, so he let the matter rest.
However...
"Alright, we can hold off for her," Wang Yue agreed with a sly grin. "But once she returns, you both will share in the fun together."
"Hmph. We’ll see if she even appears," Li Yingying snorted. She neither agreed nor refused.
Wang Yue changed the subject. Recalling how Yu Suxin’s energy had merged seamlessly with his in their "dual cultivation," he inquired, "Yingying, does the technique you share with your master include dual cultivation aspects?"
"Yeah, it does. We cultivate the ’Plain Maiden Scripture.’ It’s designed for that," Li Yingying confirmed with a bashful nod. "But it’s likely not as wondrous as yours. Ours focuses mostly on individual practice; dual cultivation serves as an aid. We still advance quickly independently."
"Can you show it to me?" Wang Yue requested without delay. The Maiden Scripture worked decently alone, but paired with his method, the synergy was phenomenal. If all his women adopted it, their upcoming "encounters" wouldn’t they yield double the results?
"Well..." Li Yingying wavered. She’d gladly give anything to her cherished brother-in-law, but the Scripture was her master’s. Sharing it without approval seemed like outright disloyalty.
Noticing her pause, Wang Yue understood swiftly. "Sorry, I jumped the gun. When your master comes back, I’ll request it from her directly."
Li Yingying was at a loss for words. Her brother-in-law was impressive in many ways, but his "protagonist" arrogance could be tough to endure at times.
The sun was rising. Zhang Hong and Li Gang remained outside, so the pair ceased lingering and unlocked the door.
"Yingying, where’s your master?" Li Gang questioned upon seeing just the two step out.
Li Yingying looked toward Wang Yue and stayed silent. She couldn’t very well inform her brother that her master had fled after being ravaged so intensely. Nor did she wish to deceive him, so she deferred to Wang Yue for the explanation.
"She had urgent matters elsewhere. She left immediately after recovering from her wounds," Wang Yue fibbed smoothly without hesitation. He addressed Zhang Hong next. "Oh, and you’ll want to call in some builders for this spot. It’s hardly habitable in its current state."
"I’ve severed all bonds with the Zhang family, so this property means little to me now. Let it remain ruined," Zhang Hong chuckled, though his inquisitiveness won out, prompting him to glance within.
Upon spotting the enormous breach in the wall, his mouth dropped open in shock.
Exiting via a wall rather than the entrance was odd enough, but the extent of the devastation left him stunned.
"Young Master... what precisely is your cultivation stage?" Zhang Hong exclaimed breathlessly. This was his estate; he was well aware of the walls’ fortification. They rivaled multiple meters of hardened steel. Not even the Zhang family head could have breached them in a single strike, much less created such a vast gap.
"I’m at the mid-stage of the Seventh Level, Mortal Shedding Realm," Wang Yue disclosed truthfully—to those in his circle, at least. He then clarified, "But I didn’t cause that damage. Yingying’s master did."
"Her master?!" Zhang Hong and Li Gang exclaimed together.
They weren’t acquainted with Yu Suxin, but Wang Yue had described her as probably a True Return Realm expert. However, observing that breach? It surpassed mere ’True Return.’ It hinted at a far higher realm.
