Unholy Player Chapter 501 New Changes

The acquisition of a new stat was something Adyr had not anticipated. Based on Zephan's previous explanations, the Blood Path appeared to be a fabricated concept, a mere hybrid stitched together from the elements of Nether and Ignis.
According to Zephan, the Lunari ancestors never developed a unique stat. Their transition into the Blood Path had only resulted in the possession of [Will] and [Resilience].
This realization made the situation clearer for Adyr. Those ancestors were essentially failed experiments. Unable to fully integrate the new path, they eventually lost their sanity and consciousness, falling into a perpetual slumber.
Adyr, however, was a different case; unlike those who came before him, he had actually achieved success.
He had successfully gained the Blood Path. More accurately, it felt as though it had been fused into his Primora Path, as if the system had woven the two together instead of overriding his existing foundation.
His Path now manifested as a vessel containing all five paths simultaneously, yet it did not truly belong to any single one of them.
It functioned like an autonomous branch, drawing influence from every direction without pledging allegiance to any specific banner.
"This is becoming quite intriguing," Adyr mused, realizing the Primora Path possessed far more depth than he had initially presumed.
Ceasing his theorizing, he turned his focus toward how this fifth stat had altered his physical form. He ignored the obvious surges in power, concentrating instead on the most subtle sensations within his body.
The evolution was palpable. His physique felt more durable and difficult to damage, though the sensation differed from a typical increase in [Resilience].
Usually, Resilience felt like the hardening of an outer shell or a reinforced internal frame locking into position.
This sensation was distinct. It felt as though his body was brimming with an abundance of life. Each cell seemed saturated with explosive potential, acting like a permanent enhancement that kept his physical form in a state of constant readiness, with power vibrating beneath his skin even while he was still.
Beyond the boost to his strength and durability, there was an additional quality that reminded him of Charm or Charisma stats in video games—the attributes players sought for social influence rather than combat prowess.
The life force coursing through him was more than just raw power; it possessed a magnetic pull. His complexion appeared more vibrant, and his overall features seemed sharper and cleaner, possessing an attractiveness that was hard to ignore.
The scent was perhaps even more overwhelming. A sweet aroma emanated from him like a potent aphrodisiac. It seemed designed to cloud the minds of those who inhaled it, instilling a subconscious desire to draw closer or to claim a part of him. Simply being in his proximity offered a strange mixture of comfort and pleasure.
If he combined this with his Presence and Grace bloodline talents, the outcome was certain. He could manifest an aura that would force mortals to their knees in worship, driven not by logic, but by pure instinct and overwhelming pressure.
The only drawback was the increased demand on his resources. He now had five stats to manage, making every future investment far more critical.
The 1,000 points gained from the evolution had been automatically funneled into this new stat. Had those points been allocated elsewhere, he would have seen a more immediate, measurable increase in his combat effectiveness.
Nonetheless, it wasn't a wasted effort. Every stat served a function. So long as he continued to register new talents and accumulate free stat points, he could eventually match the specialization of 1-path followers. That versatility provided its own edge, even if it meant he had to put in five times the effort to acquire and upgrade talents compared to others.
With those thoughts settled, his focus shifted to the debris. He looked toward the remains of the blood cocoon. What was once a massive structure was now nothing more than red dust scattered across the floor. He knelt, picking up a handful of the residue and letting the grains slide through his fingers to test their weight and consistency.
"It seems the treasure has been completely consumed this time."
In the past, he could use his Genesis energy to mend a broken treasure. That was no longer an option. The fundamental structure that held it together had been obliterated, erased beyond any hope of restoration.
Even so, he suspected these remains held value. At the very least, they provided material for the researchers to analyze. He decided to collect the dust to see if it could be utilized for something else, perhaps even as a component for crafting trials.
Once finished, he retrieved his uniform and began to dress.
As he pulled the clothes on, he noted further changes. He had grown several centimeters, standing at roughly 1.85 meters now. His frame was leaner, yet the musculature felt significantly more compact and dense.
The uniform offered no resistance. Crafted from organic fabric that felt almost sentient, it adjusted the moment it touched his skin. It molded itself to his frame, tightening around his shoulders and waist until it appeared perfectly tailored to his new dimensions.
Adyr inspected the fit, wondering briefly who was evolving faster: himself or the researchers?
Their breakthroughs and technological upgrades seemed to arrive daily, matching a pace of progress that should have normally spanned years.
However, considering their mutated genetics, it made sense. Each researcher possessed an intellect far beyond the scientists of Adyr's former Earth; their minds functioned more like advanced computers than biological brains as a result of their mutations.
Before departing, he took a moment to inspect his new Sanctuary, the Sanguine Land.
His energy form drifted above the terrain, and the primary alteration caught his eye immediately: the sky.
It was a legitimate sky now. Though alien, it was real.
It mimicked a natural sky, save for the deep red tint that permeated everything, casting a somber and haunting atmosphere over the entire realm.
Even the clouds had transformed. They floated lazily through the air, their white forms stained by the pervasive crimson hue.
Another addition was the fragrance.
A distinct, alluring scent now drifted across the land, spreading a sense of calm. When Adyr observed the creatures within, particularly the Suicide Bees, the impact was obvious.
The inhabitants seemed more tranquil. Their movements were fluid and less aggressive, as the scent worked to soothe their natural agitation.
Finally, he noticed the expansion. Both Lands had increased in size.
Combined, their total area was now nearly as large as the Human city built within the Beyond. It was no longer just a small pocket of space; it was a territory vast enough to support a major city.
