Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan! Chapter 403 Carried Away by Force (Literally)

CLANG! CLANG!
The gaze of Mó Zūn shifted with deliberate slowness.
His eyes fixed upon Bai Zihan.
Any trace of disbelief had vanished.
The fleeting shock was gone.
In its wake emerged something far more malevolent.
A killing intent so thick it seemed to bleed into the surroundings without effort.
Bai Zihan was no longer just a talented youth with potential; he had transformed into a formidable danger. Despite being only at the Spirit Severing Realm, he had managed to slaughter three Great Ascension Demonic Elders.
(If he is permitted to continue growing...)
Mó Zūn narrowed his eyes into thin slits.
It was a certainty that the boy would evolve into a catastrophe that even he and the other Demonic Immortals might find impossible to suppress.
In that heartbeat, Mó Zūn reached a conclusion.
Eliminating Bai Zihan was no longer just a choice.
It was an absolute necessity.
His saber began to hum softly as Demonic Qi gathered beneath his feet, causing the very fabric of space to warp. Then—he took a single step forward.
Though the movement was subtle, Bai Chu caught it instantly.
"You think I won't see that?"
Bai Chu’s Sword intent erupted with absolute sharpness, crashing violently into Mó Zūn’s path. The air shrieked as Bai Chu lunged forward, positioning himself as a human shield between Mó Zūn and Bai Zihan.
His face was carved from ice. His killing intent was finally unleashed without restraint.
"Where are you going?" Bai Chu asked with a chilling tone.
Mó Zūn came to a halt. He slowly raised his eyes to meet Bai Chu’s gaze.
(It seems this won't be a simple task.)
With Bai Chu obstructing him, reaching Bai Zihan was currently an impossibility.

Chu Ziyan wasted no time after administering the High-Grade Rank-6 Qi Recovery Pill. Even though Qi was starting to flow back into Bai Zihan, it would take a while before he regained the strength to stand. This location was far too perilous.
"Everyone," she commanded urgently, her voice remaining firm, "we are withdrawing from the battlefield. Now!"
The members of the Chu Clan complied immediately. Bai Zihan had already achieved more than enough; getting him to safety was now the priority.
"We shall assist as well!" Several cultivators at the Void Refinement Realm stepped forward to help escort him out.
Chu Ziyan acted first. She reached down and hoisted him from the dirt. One arm hooked under his knees while the other cradled his back. It was a flawless princess carry.
Bai Zihan’s mind went completely blank. His head spun—not from his injuries, but from pure, unadulterated shame.
"W-What are you doing?!" His voice cracked, his face turning a deep shade of red.
No matter his level of exhaustion or the severity of his wounds... this was utterly unacceptable.
"Put me down—this instant!" Bai Zihan barked with what little authority he had left.
Chu Ziyan didn't even break her stride. "You can barely keep yourself upright," she replied evenly. "Stop struggling and don't make this difficult for me."
"Chu Ziyan, I am ordering you to put me down right here," Bai Zihan commanded, his voice stern.
He was currently enduring the most humiliating moment of his entire life. He attempted to thrash and break free from her embrace, yet his limbs refused to obey his will. His own body had betrayed him.
Chu Ziyan tightened her hold, completely disregarding his protests. "It looks like you don't have a choice," she said with a teasing smirk.
Bai Zihan ground his teeth. He had momentarily forgotten Chu Ziyan’s personality. As if she would ever listen to his demands.

The surrounding Demonic Cultivators took notice of Bai Zihan’s weakened state. Their eyes gleamed with greed.
"He's wounded!" "Kill him now! He can't even move!" "Keke... the bounty for Bai Zihan's head must be astronomical, right?"
Malice surged from every side. The Chu Clan members, including the Void Refinement experts, moved into defensive positions.
"Do not think for a second that killing Bai Zihan will be easy!" The earth split beneath their feet as Void Refinement pressure surged outward.
Chu Ziyan didn't hesitate. "Move!"
The Chu Clan acted as one. Boom! Multiple waves of spiritual pressure erupted as they formed a dense protective circle around Chu Ziyan and Bai Zihan. Layers of barriers rose up like reinforced glass, shielding the pair as they began a rapid, decisive retreat.
However, the Demonic Cultivators were relentless. They did not back down for a single moment.
"They're escaping!" "Block them!" "Slay Bai Zihan now!"
Their eyes burned with a frenzied light. Even those at the Nascent Soul realm threw themselves forward, ignoring the suffocating Void Refinement aura pressing down on them. Some coughed up blood as they forced their way through, driven by nothing but the desire to kill. It didn't matter that he was guarded by powerful Elders. If Bai Zihan perished here, any sacrifice was worth it.
Chu Ziyan’s expression turned grim. It seemed these Demonic Cultivators were hell-bent on murdering her husband today. She adjusted her grip, pulling Bai Zihan closer as she increased her speed.
Whoosh!
Bai Zihan felt it all—the whistling wind, the chaotic surges of Qi, and the roar of combat surrounding them. But the most agonizing sensation was being carried. His face was burning. He gripped Chu Ziyan’s sleeve with helpless, clenched fists.
(I will not forget this...!) Anger and shame boiled in his chest. (Once I have recovered, I will slaughter every last one of you!)
Bai Zihan swore this to himself while glaring at the approaching Demonic Cultivators. He placed the blame for his current pathetic state entirely on them. Though it was his own decision to utilize the Heaven's Mandate Reversal Technique, he rationalized that if they hadn't attacked, he wouldn't be in this position. Now, he was being carried like a damsel in front of a crowd. Even if they weren't fully responsible, he blamed them anyway. After all, that was simply his nature.
Boom!
A crazed Nascent Soul Demonic Cultivator burst through the smoke, his blade aimed directly at Bai Zihan’s side. "Die!"
Before the weapon could reach its mark—Slash! A beam of freezing sword light zipped past Chu Ziyan’s shoulder. The attacker's head was severed instantly, sending a spray of blood into the air.
"You dare try to touch our Young Master?" A Void Refinement Elder from the Bai Clan stepped forward, his face like stone. "Only over our corpses."
More reinforcements arrived as Bai Clan members joined the Chu Clan, working in unison to facilitate the escape. "Advance as one! Guard the rear! Suppress them!"
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Layers of Void Refinement pressure stacked upon one another, crushing the fanatical Demonic Cultivators. Those at the Soul Formation Realm and below were tossed aside like autumn leaves, their bodies breaking mid-air. Yet, the enemy kept coming, driven by madness.
Chu Ziyan gritted her teeth. "They have lost their minds!"
The withdrawal continued, step by bloody step. Finally, after what seemed like an age, the intensity of the pursuit began to wane. The Demonic Cultivators were forced back, unable to pierce the combined defense of the two Great Clans. Only then did Chu Ziyan slow her pace.
Bai Zihan let out a sharp breath. Immediately, he spoke up: "Put me down!"
His voice was calmer this time. Chu Ziyan stopped and looked down at him. "Can you actually stand?"
"...Barely," he admitted through gritted teeth. "But staying like this is worse."
The corner of Chu Ziyan’s mouth curled slightly. She gently set him down, supporting him until his feet found their balance. Bai Zihan straightened his back with great effort, forcing himself to stand tall despite his trembling legs. He looked back at the distant battlefield.
"Did you truly despise being carried by me that much?" Chu Ziyan asked.
"So much that I would have preferred death," Bai Zihan answered instantly.
"Hmph! Next time, I'll just leave you there to die then."
"Thank you! That would be much more preferable!"
