Titan King: Ascension of the Giant Chapter 1341 But I like it
Previously on Titan King: Ascension of the Giant...
While Phase One involved the distortion of natural laws and the reshaping of the environment, Phase Two signaled a period of biological hyper-evolution. It represented a massive evolutionary leap for the insect kingdom.
Orion pondered the next stage. Would it be a total infestation? Could an Insectoid empire be on the horizon?
He lapsed into a thoughtful silence, finding the invasion mechanics of this rival world truly intriguing.
Could this process be turned into a weapon? A sudden realization hit him. Could he employ a similar type of metaphysical terraforming to allow the Abyssal World to encroach upon other realities?
"Orion? You’re lost in thought. Did you discover something?"
The melodic, gentle voice of Seraphina snapped Orion out of his tactical mental simulations. Blinking, he realized he was still standing in the cavern. Both Evander and Kairon were observing him with intense scrutiny. They were sharp enough to know that a demigod doesn't simply daydream in the middle of a crisis meeting. Orion had clearly perceived something.
"Nothing definitive," Orion replied untruthfully, shaking his head. "Merely some theories."
"Orion," Evander spoke up, his tone shifting into the refined, diplomatic rhythm of an experienced statesman. "The foundations of our factions are all set within the Titanion Realm. This is our home. This is our ancestral soil. I believe I represent the group when I say we want to maintain the peace of this world. We must remain united in the face of this external threat."
The speech was eloquent, but the underlying message was clear: We are all in this together, Orion. Don't keep secrets from us.
Orion gave a smirk, eyeing the human demigod.
Hearing such words from a human was amusing. Ancestral soil? If a member of the Sea Race like Kairon or Seraphina had claimed that, Orion might have believed it. But humans? Throughout the multiverse, humanity was the ultimate invasive species. They didn't possess homelands; they possessed colonies.
"I already told you, I was merely detecting the fluctuations in the planetary laws," Orion remarked dryly. "Do you believe me?"
Their gazes suggested they thought he was full of lies.
"Just wait," Orion said, waving them off dismissively. "The enemy has not committed their full strength yet. We still have time to prepare."
With a brief laugh, he placed an arm possessively around Seraphina’s waist. "If you will excuse us."
Without waiting for a response, he teleported them both away from the cavern, leaving the remaining pair of demigods in the damp, quiet cave.
Kairon and Evander stood in the darkness for a long duration, the atmosphere thick with unspoken tension.
"Kairon," Evander eventually spoke. "We need to establish a pact."
The situation had evolved. Orion and Seraphina were now clearly allied—and physically close, judging by the rumors and their behavior. The power dynamic had shifted. The Giant and the Mermaid had formed a bloc. The Dreadfin and the Human were forced to create a counterweight.
Two against two. It was the only path to survival.
"Fine," Kairon grunted, his voice sounding like shark skin rubbing against stone. "But he is my target. Not Seraphina."
Evander’s eye gave a small twitch.
You lecherous old fool, Evander thought, though his expression remained neutral. Even as the world faced destruction, the fish-man was focused on his lust.
"The situation isn't as grim as it seems," Evander said, trying to move past the awkwardness. "The four of us share a common foe. Conflict between us is irrational. Surely even the Giant King understands that. This alliance is centered on sharing intelligence. When the crisis peaks, we need to know someone is watching our backs."
Evander was a man of pragmatism. Humanity and the Stoneheart Horde weren't natural rivals, and he had no interest in battling Kairon over a woman.
"You always over-analyze, Evander," Kairon muttered, taking one final glance at the spot where Seraphina had been. He turned and faded into the shadows.
Evander remained alone in the sacrificial chamber, his eyes narrowed as he calculated his next move. After a few moments, he dissolved into light, leaving the insectoid monument in the darkness.
Marina City, The Southern Coast
The fabric of space twisted, and Orion and Seraphina reappeared inside the master suite of the city's most magnificent palace. This was the stronghold of Marina, a white stone fortress carved into the coastal cliffs.
"My..." Seraphina whispered, scanning the lavish room. "Is this my domain? Built right on the edge of the cliff... it is quite impressive."
Now that they were secluded, the ancient demigod appeared to withdraw slightly. She stepped away from Orion, her demeanor shifting from regal confidence to nervous hesitation. She chattered away to fill the silence, trying to hide her growing anxiety.
It was that specific brand of panic that arises when a man and woman are finally alone—the excitement of the chase mixed with the fear of being caught.
"Are you trying to escape?" Orion teased.
Before Seraphina could back away, Orion swept her up in one smooth motion, carrying her like a bride toward the center of the suite. He didn't stop until they reached the massive bed, which was crafted from driftwood and covered in sea-silk. He dropped her onto the mattress and moved over her, his large frame effectively pinning her down.
"Marina mentioned that you enjoy being handled," Orion whispered, his deep voice vibrating against her chest. He secured her wrists above her head with one hand, his grip like iron. "She said you prefer it to be... mandatory. Is that accurate?"
"You... you are a brute," Seraphina panted. Her panic was fading, replaced by a deep flush that colored her pale skin.
Orion gazed down at her. To him, Seraphina and her other personality, Marina, were different, yet they both harbored this same fundamental desire.
Seraphina’s nerves turned into a seductive, mocking laugh. Her eyes sharpened as she shifted from the role of prey to predator. "Are you frightened, little boy? Or will you need to call Marina out to deal with you?"
She arched her brows, her voice taking on a queenly, commanding tone. It was a challenge. Was he man enough to handle a goddess, or did he require the girl?
Orion didn't bother with a verbal response. He leaned down and silenced her with a powerful, overwhelming kiss.
The defiance in Seraphina’s eyes vanished instantly.
What followed wasn't a gentle courtship, but a violent clash of forces. Orion was the mountain; Seraphina was the ocean. He stripped away her pretenses along with her clothes, his actions efficient and certain. There was a primal, raw honesty in the way he took her—a display of dominance that she didn't just accept, but met with her own fierce intensity.
The room echoed with the sounds of a tempest—heavy breaths, the creaking of wood under the weight of demigods, and the heat of skin on skin.
The Following Morning.
Orion was woken by a tickling sensation on his face.
Opening his eyes, he saw Seraphina resting on his chest. She was propped up on her elbow, using a strand of her long, damp hair to trace the edge of his ear.
The arrogant Demigod of the Deep was nowhere to be seen. In the soft light of dawn, she looked like a playful siren, her face full of mischief and innocence, with no sign of the wild intensity from the night before.
"Stop that," Orion grumbled with affection.
He turned his head to trap her hand against his cheek, then pulled her into a tight bear hug. He held her close against his chest, making it impossible for her to keep teasing him.
"Mmm..." Seraphina laughed softly, her voice muffled by his skin. "You truly are exactly as Marina described. Rough and domineering."
She looked up and gave him a gentle kiss on the chin.
"But I enjoy it."

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a quick update.
I have been working on this book for over a year now, writing without a break. I have actually managed to post updates for 400 consecutive days—looking back, I’m quite proud of that achievement.
However, posting every single day takes its toll. Lately, I’ve felt my productivity and the quality of my writing start to slip. I don’t want to give you chapters that feel rushed or uninspired.
Therefore, to ensure the story remains strong and the quality stays high, I will be moving to a schedule of two chapters per day for a while. I need a little rest to clear my head and return to my best form.
I hope you all understand, and I thank you for your continued support!
