The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2454 Sacred King of Chaos and Order

Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
In the grand hall of the Dark Blood Kingdom's capital, the War Council convened with six Royal Blutlinie: the Heartcram King, Evernight Queen, and Scarlet King facing the Dark Blood King alongside Generals Averus and Fausto. Power imbalances hung heavy in the air as the Dark Blood King welcomed the trio as his new generals, their acceptance born of necessity rather than choice. He revealed the war's cause—the emergence of the Ancestor Tomb in the First Realm, a sacred site from billions of years past where the Ancestor devoured Paradise's ancient ruling race, the Depravita, to forge the Royal Blutlinie from their essence, eliciting shock among the rulers.

"What luck that he's no longer alive," Cain thought, unable to stop himself from drawing comfort from the idea.

No clue existed in his mind about facing down an entity that could unleash slaughter across entire universes.

Though a storm of ideas raced through his head, Cain's face stayed composed and inscrutable. With zero response from him, the Dark Blood King pressed on.

"The Ancestor Tomb holds vital significance for the Royal Blutlinie Race beyond just being our birthplace," he explained deliberately, his tone laden with gravity, "it's also about the boons it bestows."

A subtle glow lit his eyes.

"Via its secrets, a person gains the gift of genuine eternal life... the ability to forge a grand and authentic universe... the strength for one's whole being to break free from the Third Realm's boundaries."

Right as those declarations landed, every Royal Blutlinie in attendance had their gazes ignite with fierce longing. Their blood surged wildly, responding on pure instinct to the allure of such elevation. Cain himself couldn't conceal the spark of wonder in his eyes. Clearly, the Ancestor Tomb stood as something truly remarkable.

Luckily, the Dark Blood King had more to reveal.

"The Ancestor Tomb emerges at unpredictable times," he went on. "Ancient texts note that its initial unveiling came five hundred million years following the Royal Blutlinie Race's ascent. The latest instance happened roughly four hundred million years back."

Cain gave a quick nod. Such a gap made sense for why he'd never come across details on it. The most ancient spirit he'd probed was the Kalous King's, and his domain had only lasted

three hundred million years.

Pushing those notions aside, Cain shifted his focus back to the Dark Blood King.

"Each time the Ancestor Tomb surfaces," the king proceeded, "it scatters pieces of the Nine Sacred Treasures throughout Paradise. Those artifacts serve as the means to unlock the tomb."

His tone grew more intense.

"Even more crucially, solely those holding a full Sacred Treasure earn the chance to vie for the Ritual of Ascendant Origin."

While uttering this, the Dark Blood King struggled to contain the fire raging inside. He drew in a steadying breath prior to speaking further.

"Via that ceremony, a Royal Blutlinie awakens the Ancestor's heritage... and rises as a Sacred King of Chaos and Order."

Cain's gaze grew keen.

For him, the terms Chaos and Order held profound importance. They represented the exact energies he and his sibling had commanded.

The Ancient One might qualify as a user of comparable forces, yet Cain had never viewed the figure as a true expert. His skills always came off as warped—more a copy than an authentic creation.

Nevertheless, Cain held back from assumptions. Chaos and Order might imply various things.

He directed his focus back to the conversation instead.

"I understand," Cain stated evenly. "Thus, bits of one Sacred Treasure lie spread through the Dark Blood Realm."

A sorrowful grin crossed the Dark Blood King's features as he shook his head.

"No."

"The First Realm gets two Sacred Treasures, just like the Second Realm. Realms from the Third up to the Sixth each claim fragments of one Sacred Treasure. The Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Realms share no full artifacts—instead, pieces of a lone Sacred Treasure divide among those three realms."

A spark of realization hit Cain's eyes.

At last, he comprehended the real trigger for the looming conflict.

"Your Majesty plans to collect the fragments and claim the Sacred Treasure outright," he remarked.

The Dark Blood King's stare hardened into icy savagery as he affirmed with a nod.

"Yes."

"During the prior opening of the Ancestor Tomb, the whole Dark Blood Realm and I lacked the might. We had to surrender the fragments

in our grasp."

A hint of disgrace flickered over his face. Yet it vanished swiftly, replaced by a much grimmer emotion—rage, wrath, and an icy intent to kill.

"However," he added, his voice hushed and firm, "now I've unlocked my Ancestor Domain. I command the might of the Fourth Realm."

His eyes blazed.

"This round, I'll seize the Sacred Treasure. I'll step inside the tomb."

"And I'll ascend as the Fifth Sacred King of Chaos and Order."

With those final words hanging, the Dark Blood King's presence exploded across the room.

The force crushed down relentlessly. It bore upon all those there like a crumbling heaven, turning every breath into a struggle. The very atmosphere thickened and dragged under his immense strength.

Thankfully, the outburst endured just mere moments. The presence pulled back into him soon after, and his demeanor settled into grave composure.

"Leaders of the Seventh and Eighth Realms will hunt those

fragments too," he pressed on. "Conflict among our three realms can't be avoided."

His look scanned the gathering.

"Without doubt, they're mustering their full forces. We need to match that effort."

He halted for a beat before fixing his stare on the Scarlet King.

"Regrettably, we've suffered the fall of two kingdoms lately."

Upon hearing that, the Royal Blutlinie fixed their sharpened glares on Cain.

"Your deeds have robbed the Dark Blood Realm of a major chunk of its power," the Heartcram King declared icily. His words aimed straight to corner and incite the Scarlet King.

Cain merely let out a scoff.

"Hmph. They lacked strength," he shot back without pause. "That's why I devoured their souls and forms."

He eased back a touch, his crimson eyes shimmering.

"You claim the Dark Blood Realm's power has waned from losing two kingdoms."

A perilous smirk formed on his lips.

"I declare the realm's might has surged."

"Since I'm present."

In the blink that followed, a horrifying energy swept through the hall.

The essence of Null Eternum emanated from Cain, quiet but total.

All in the room—save the Dark Blood King—sensed their frames lock up. Actions dragged, minds weighed down, and perceptions faded.

It resembled an unseen power invading their core particles, disrupting the basic flow of their very being.
