The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order Chapter 2447 Facing the Fourth Realm (III)
Previously on The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order...
The overwhelming pressure from Abraham's force field felt like being submerged in the universe's deepest abyss. An unseen weight bore down from all sides, warping space and threatening to crush everything trapped inside its grasp.
Simultaneously, Cain's force field unleashed the might of the Quietus Force. Particles in its area decelerated sharply. Motions grew sluggish. Thoughts delayed. Both body and mind pulled into a sluggish time stream, as though time had turned dense and unyielding.
The merged impact of these two domains proved utterly horrifying.
United, they possessed more than sufficient strength to overpower a Peak Alpha-Omega Overgod.
However, the Dark Blood King only displayed a faint grin.
His Ancestor Eye illuminated.
In the following moment, a surge of fiery shadows burst from his form, encasing him like animated armor. The ebony flames throbbed
once-
And right away, demolished the control the two force fields exerted on his body, mind, and soul.
Shock was impossible to conceal in Cain and Abraham's gazes.
These force fields represented the most refined expressions of their abilities, infused with the fundamental nature of their Ancestor Powers.
Nevertheless, the Dark Blood King had dispelled them in one effortless action. This dealt a severe hit to their assurance.
Still, they were seasoned fighters.
Without pause, they retracted their force fields and channeled that vast energy straight into aggressive strikes.
Cain's eyes gleamed with The Flow's energy, his awareness stretching out as he attempted to anticipate the Dark Blood King's actions and motives. His sword blazed with pale fire as he darted ahead. Meanwhile, Abraham charged from the other side.
His fist, already laden with compressive might, started to spin in an eerie way, like it lacked any skeletal structure. This twisting gathered power into one focal spot, endowing the blow with dreadful penetration.
Cain's blade sliced toward the throat.
Abraham's fist thrust at the temple akin to a boring lance.
Each assault brimmed with deadly purpose.
In the final second, the Dark Blood King strode forth.
The fiery shadows encircling him exploded outward.
Rather than pulling back, he drew nearer to the approaching blows- Then disappeared.
He materialized a few meters in front.
Puzzlement raced through Cain and Abraham's thoughts. The shift mimicked teleportation, but no spatial ripple was detected by either.
"His Ancestor Power."
That stood as the sole rationale.
Yet awareness of it offered scant aid.
They pressed on without easing.
Cain wielded his sword once more, unleashing a cascade of white flame crescents
that overwhelmed the heavens and rushed at the Dark Blood King.
The Dark Blood King's gaze intensified.
He lifted his right hand.
Again, the fiery shadows flared up.
The instant the Eternum Flames, infused with the Quietus Force,
met the shadows-
They disappeared.
Not scattered.
Not repelled.
Obliterated.
Cain's chest constricted. Those white flames held conceptual might.
Countering them so effortlessly stirred profound unease.
But the onslaught was never designed for lethality.
It served as a feint.
The moment the Dark Blood King wiped out the flame crescents, his eyes
flared open a bit.
Concealed amid the blaze of white fire-
Abraham had arrived.
The Heartcram King's fist launched ahead.
"BOOOOOOM!"
The strike connected squarely with the Dark Blood King's temple.
The collision erupted across the skies like a dying star, sending tremors spreading for miles.
Still, Abraham's face twisted right away.
The Dark Blood King wasn't flung back.
His frame quivered from the hit, yet he stayed rooted in position.
Before Abraham could pull away, icy gleam filled the Dark Blood
King's stare.
His fist retaliated swiftly.
Abraham's heart quaked. The devastation packed into that riposte was ruinous.
In the nick of time, his torso melted into liquid, morphing into fluid and contorting wildly. The Dark Blood King's fist sliced through the fluid form rather than pulverizing his body.
The Dark Blood King's eyes tightened at the odd power.
But he showed no delay.
As his limb pulled back, his foot lashed out.
The boot connected with Abraham's skull.
The power was colossal, hurling the Heartcram King sailing through the
air.
Even so, his figure undulated like waves, diffusing the force across
his whole being and distributing the energy uniformly, minimizing the harm.
The Dark Blood King observed the result.
"...Like striking an ocean," he whispered.
Then he faded from sight.
Fiery shadows coalesced around his fist as he sped after the tumbling foe, aiming to end the clash before Abraham regained balance.
But right as the blow was about to connect-
Cain positioned himself in the gap.
Using just his left index and middle fingers, he halted the
oncoming fist.
The clash rattled his whole limb, but rather than opposing the energy, he rerouted it- funneling the drive via his frame and into
his blade.
Next, he unleashed it all at close quarters.
The Dark Blood King's eyes constricted.
"That redirection ability..."
He hoisted his right hand to defend.
The surge of white flames detonated on his hand. The fiery
shadows soaked up some of the force, but not everything.
The leftover power propelled him rearward through the sky.
A severe gash split his hand and trailed down his torso.
Abraham steadied himself shortly after and rejoined Cain's position. A grin formed on his features as he offered the Scarlet King a quick incline of the head. The Dark Blood King held immense strength- incredibly immense.
But he wasn't unbeatable.
With solid teamwork...
Victory might truly be possible.
The pair of kings shared a look.
Both grinned.
Both inclined their heads.
Their presences exploded anew.
Twin colossal spires of power rocketed upward as they drove
their abilities to the utmost. Their Ancestor Drops flared more intensely than before, their bloodlines thundering at peak intensity.
Then they lunged as one, their advances flawlessly aligned.
The Dark Blood King observed their advance.
Determination filled their gazes.
They genuinely thought they could overcome him.
He made no withdrawal.
He launched no reprisal.
He merely hovered in the heavens.
And as the duo bridged the last gap-
He clasped his hands.
His digits wove together, crafting an archaic gesture.
His Ancestor Eye ignited. "Ancestor Domain."
