The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 571 News about Auranys

The grandest orc horde gathered in over ten thousand years, surpassing forty million in number, including ten warriors at the twelfth ring.
Obviously, this massive force spread terror throughout every territory bordering the Green Skins' swamps.
In particular, the kingdom of Valemont, which typically faced raids from minor border orc groups far weaker than this one, could be wiped out entirely by just a single warlord.
Indeed, that very army was the primary cause of David's sleepless nights.
Yet, luckily, its days were numbered.
From the afternoon through the enveloping night and into the early dawn, a pair of fighters battled without pause, expending their strength while wiping out swarm after swarm.
By the time they wrapped up, just before midday, certain stacks of bodies towered up to hundreds of meters tall.
The surviving orcs, who cowered even before their own kin, fled toward the distant hills.
"Ah... this feels great...
Lucios grinned widely, his blood surging with excitement as he perched atop the remains of an ogre exceeding eight meters in height, once controlled by an orc warlord.
The stench of blood hung heavy and foul, yet neither man appeared bothered by it in the slightest.
They had grown accustomed to such odors long ago. After slaughtering so many, how could they not?
Humans, orcs, spirit beasts—all of them decayed in the end.
From within his robes drenched in blood, Lucios retrieved a metallic flask.
Beaming broadly, he gulped it down eagerly before tossing it over to Qingyi.
"Hm... is that rum?" The striking youth inquired after sampling it himself, savoring the sweet fluid gliding down his throat.
"Yes... do you recognize it? It's pretty popular with human pirates on the southern tropical isles." Lucios grinned. "Tough to bring in, but totally worth the effort."
"Hm... absolutely." Qingyi settled beside him, passing the flask back and forth.
"If the Rose Empire was at its peak strength, it ought to seize this moment to invade these territories and eradicate the Green Skins for good." Lucios remarked, surveying the devastation all around them.
For roughly a hundred kilometers in every direction, only devastation and demise remained, a scene that filled him with a sense of accomplishment.
Were Qingyi's talents even a tad inferior, Lucios would plead for him to become his successor.
Still, he realized it was futile. Unlike himself, Qingyi wasn't bound to this wretched land.
"Yes." Qingyi concurred.
In truth, he seriously questioned whether the Green Skins could rebound from a setback this severe.
The ten twelfth-ring warlords served as the backbone holding the Green Skins together.
Without their leadership, goblins, kobolds, and the rest of the green skins amounted to little more than dead weight.
Rebuilding an army of that magnitude would demand millennia, whereas the Rose Empire could probably regain nearly all its former might in just a few centuries.
Right now, a few million troops combined with a handful of twelfth-ring powerhouses would suffice to purge that scourge from existence forever.
"Ah..." The attractive youth stretched lazily, gazing upward at the sun blazing overhead.
"I believe it's time we returned. The girls are probably fretting." Qingyi rose to his feet, extending a hand to Lucios.
Sensing the solid grip in the handshake, the elder man beamed, and moments later, a spatial rift engulfed them once more.
Upon emerging again, they hovered over the expansive garden of Lucios' palace, where the two sisters sat tranquilly sipping tea.
"Husband!" Elize spotted them first while they floated down to land.
Her face alight with joy, she leaped up and flung herself into Qingyi's embrace, pressing her mouth to his.
The blood smearing his form and now spotting her pristine white gown meant nothing to her.
Seraphine mirrored her actions, clinging to him with equal fervor.
"Hm... did you miss your husband?" He inquired, encircling their slender
waists.
"Yes... where were hubby and grandpa?" Seraphine wondered aloud with curiosity.
"Killing green skins." Qingyi replied with a grin.
He longed to linger with them a bit more, but a bath came first.
"Ah... fortunate young rascal." Lucios muttered with a wry shake of his head.
Was he truly too aged to seek out a bride of his own?
Having reached the zenith of his abilities, perhaps it was high time he ended his days as a lonely old coot.
"Good luck, Grandpa!" Elize called out from Qingyi's side, eyeing Lucios' face.
"Good luck, my foot, you pest. Your grandpa's a born charmer; he doesn't require any luck!" Lucios huffed haughtily, turning away as he soared skyward.
Left by themselves, the trio burst into hearty laughter.
As Elize and Seraphine retreated into the mental realm, Qingyi joined them briefly before enjoying a refreshing bath.
Regrettably, relaxation eluded him. No sooner had he stepped out of the bathing chamber than Ruxue arrived.
Anxiety etched her features, her posture rigid with tension.
"What's wrong?" Qingyi questioned, toweling off his damp skin.
"Celestia... she got another communication from her goddess, and, well... it's bad news," Ruxue explained, her voice laced with fatigue.
At those words, Qingyi's eyes grew wide.
He understood how vital Auranys was to Celestia, and he refused to let any danger befall her on that account.
Dreading the gravest outcome, he hastily donned clothes and dashed to her quarters.
Celestia lay upon her bed, with the high elf Aeryn gently caressing her locks beside her.
"What happened?" Qingyi demanded, hurrying closer. Sensing her spouse's arrival, Celestia bolted upright and collapsed into his arms.
"Husband... The goddess reached out to me... a goodbye. She warned that a horrific darkness was descending upon her and that.... and that... I-" Celestia sobbed uncontrollably, burying her face in his chest.
Her bond with Auranys ran deeper than any mortal's in recorded history.
Through it, she sensed the overwhelming dread engulfing Auranys during that transmission.
What sort of malevolence was this? What force could plunge a deity into such profound hopelessness?
She had no answers, only raw fear.
"Ah..." Qingyi exhaled deeply, steadying himself.
He lifted Celestia's chin, compelling her to meet his gaze.
"Your husband will handle it all, alright? Just ease up... I swear, you'll stand by her side before long." Qingyi offered a gentle smile, brushing his lips to hers.
To begin with, he had to pinpoint Auranys' divine domain, the hidden spatial haven where she concealed herself.
Once done, nothing remained but to eliminate that wretched intruder.
