The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 498 - Always
Previously on The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System...
The entire Primus Principality sprang back to life through Noah's mere act of brushing away the dust. It appeared utterly bizarre, yet keeping Noah's elevated new position in mind explained it all.
Should he so desire, the Spirit World tied to the Primus Universe would cease to exist entirely. Yet he possessed too much wisdom to sabotage his own strength in that way.
This fresh role granted him an authority that no one in the conscious Universe could even begin to grasp. He stood as the initial figure to claim total dominion over a Principality free from the Origin Will's constant oversight.
Had The Records continued to chronicle his journey, every layer of existence would have trembled at such an unthinkable feat.
Luckily—or perhaps unfortunately—that era had passed.
Following the Primus Universe's revival, Harusu couldn't bear to linger even a moment longer. She yearned to vanish right away, severing all ties with Noah for good.
This stemmed not just from his irritating nature, but from his strange talent for striking the exact emotions she craved deep down.
The longing for indulgence, for recognition, for soft and tender romantic murmurs.
Isolated for countless ages, with nobody bold enough to approach her, Harusu had spent endless eras fantasizing about such heartfelt connections.
And wasn't that the common wisdom?
Affection, care, and the deep need for visibility and value ranked among the rawest instincts any creature could possess.
All beings required the chance to share and grasp their personal tales by embracing life completely. Tales lacking these elements turned dull and
insipid.
Despite her strong desire for all that, Noah remained suspect in her view. Harusu opted for solitude over linking with a man boasting over 20 spouses.
'I knew it! Deceiver! Schemer! Lecherous fool!' Harusu reflected finally before fading away entirely, casting one final sharp scowl at Noah. Though Noah couldn't access her mind, her expression alone revealed her inner turmoil.
He shifted his gaze to Diatah at his side, both hovering high above the Principality's skies, observing the souls resuming their routines as though no upheaval had occurred.
Truly, obliviousness brought joy to so many.
"I'm really not unreliable!" He protested, cocking his head, "What makes her see me that way?"
"You flirt with every woman like some shameless playboy." Taraji gave a casual shrug, "Naturally, she'd view you as such."
"I'm beginning to suspect you're merely envious. That's just who I am. Notice how I don't keep calling you a brash, haughty lady who ought to recognize her limits?"
He flashed a toothy smile, "Yet that's your nature. I embrace it. You ought to try the same, dear."
"Why should I care?"
"Since it's a partnership. I'm embracing your true self and striving to cherish you as you desire, not as I might prefer."
"So you've already tumbled for me?" She scoffed, "Aren't you far too quick to fall?"
"Well, dear, not quite. I don't simply fall in love."
Taraji raised a brow. Noah continued softly,
"Falling in love implies it's random; an unconscious event beyond my control."
He shook his head, "That's not my way, love. I deliberately decide to love someone. Willingly, intentionally, by choice. And at this moment, I'm pursuing that very course. Only... it can't succeed without your involvement."
He shrugged again, "Give it a try yourself."
Taraji cocked her head, gazing intently at him, then looked aside without a word.
She chose silence, preferring it over confessing her ignorance of true love's essence.
Within her lineage, unions formed not from passion but to safeguard bloodlines, maintain status in the Expanse, and bolster might. For them, love felt as alien and baffling as innocence and timidity did to lustful succubi.
Thus, she remained unaware of how to receive love or express it herself.
And she refused to tangle with such sentiments anyway.
'I must pursue my ambitions. Love holds no place for me. The Desdomona crave solely strength and prestige.'
Moreover, love acted as a heart's affliction. One that might lead to her ruin.
Therefore, Diatah Taraji Desdomona spurned love. Much like her family
always had.
Noah lacked the complete story, but his sharp eyes and fresh Subclass 'Primordial Husband' aided him immensely in sensing his
spouse's emotions.
He let out a soft sigh, opting for patience.
Then he rolled his neck with a crack, breathing out through his nostrils, "Time to proceed,
Providence."
He grinned,
"Let's ascend to the Duke of Cloud rank!"
A burst of crimson-gold radiance exploded from Noah's form, initiating the change.
In addition to the ring from the Lord of Harmony phase, a crimson-gold earring now adorned his left ear.
A new State emerged: the State of Cloud, allowing him to extend his presence like floating clouds via his followers.
Thus, another Authority took shape.
The Second Authority: Bestow.
Before long, the shift concluded, elevating Noah to Primordial level at last.
Leveraging that surging strength, he accessed the concealed domain of the Tree of Ashes.
Far overhead in the Ashes domain—or as Providence termed it, the
Library of Records—the heavens split open like drawn curtains, revealing Noah and Diatah's descent.
At once, the women perched upon The Tree of Ashes, their features marked by subtle anxiety, jerked their gazes skyward.
Alice led the charge, yelling first and crashing into Noah's frame.
"NOAH!" She roared, burying her face against his torso.
Noah beamed warmly, stroking Alice's hair with tender affection. His might had soared dramatically, though its signs remained subtle.
Only a vague hint was detectable.
Maryam, Light, Love, Shadow, and Idalia—the latter pair fully bound—alone sensed the complete intensity of his power, owing to their near-Primordial proximity, and their stares widened in awe.
Yet that awe shifted to fear as their sights fixed on Diatah glaring down at them with narrowed eyes. Evidently, the Desdomona heir disapproved of the scene below.
Still, none of it penetrated Noah's thoughts. Surrounded by his wives' loving embraces, devotion, and backing, he lost all restraint.
From their demise in the Waking Universe to this point, countless events had unfolded, particularly for him.
He'd lacked the moments to properly nurture his wives or deliver the care and warmth they merited.
That ended now.
He had reached Primordial level and seized complete control over their Universe's Spirit World.
Through his boon, time lost all relevance—he could halt it within his domain effortlessly.
With those thoughts, he softly clasped Emmy's hand and drew her close against him, his gaze and tone laced with eagerness,
"Forgive me for overlooking you all." He declared, scanning their faces, then grinned, "Shall I make amends, my lovely ones?" His suggestive tone shone through. And without command, Providence divided the Realm of Ashes in two. One section for Noah and his wives, the other for captives and outsiders unfit to behold his spouses' bare forms.
Following that, Providence materialized in her tangible shape, grinning bashfully,
"I refuse to miss out on what's next."
They chuckled, and Dominique pressed her mouth to Noah's before
Emmy could react.
Justicia moved in turn, locking lips and clinging to Noah with a craving not entirely her own. She seemed agitated, even terrified, as though craving his comfort and aroma to erase some fresh wound.
Noah showered her with it abundantly. "Here, my sweet." He murmured to her.
"Do I belong to you, Noah?" She inquired abruptly, her voice thick with desire
and concealed dread.
Noah stroked her face softly, "Forever."
He claimed her lips. And Justicia surrendered fully to his embrace.
Thus, the moment ignited.
All the while Maryam and Diatah observed from afar.
'Why must I witness this?' Diatah pondered with veiled distress.
'Could this be an invite?' Maryam wondered with concealed delight.
