The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System Chapter 404 Don't disappoint me!

Note: I had problems with my electricity and was only able to prepare a single 1,500-word chapter today, instead of two 1,000-word

chapters.

I'm very sorry about that, everything will be back to normal tomorrow.

"My queen...

A noble and powerful voice echoed through the darkened throne

room.

Seated beside the king's throne, a woman with dark skin and beautiful green eyes stared at the knight in black armor kneeling before her.

"What do you have to report?" she asked, her index finger tapping anxiously against the stone armrest.

"Count Nirm's forces have breached the northern walls; ten thousand men are marching toward the castle.

We have confirmed thirty thousand men marching to our aid, but it will take them at least two days to arrive."

Upon hearing those words, the queen bit her lower lip, her eyes slightly trembling.

Things were not going well...

'At least my dear Isabel is safe..! She repeated to herself, standing up.

Her heir was training in the Rose Empire, and her daughter had run away with a mysterious lover.

She couldn't say that, as a mother, she was happy. However, the important thing was that they weren't there.

She could only pray that the man Isabel had chosen would take good care of her.

With a sigh, the queen walked to the large double doors that guarded

that luxurious hall, the mana in her heart burning.

With a flick of her fingers, the heavy doors opened, revealing the luxurious courtyard of the castle taken over by soldiers in black

armor.

In the distance, the high walls burned in flames. Black smoke engulfed the horizon, painting the blue sky.

She could hear the sound of various battles exploding in the streets of the capital as Count Nirm's troops advanced toward them.

Most of the capital's most powerful experts were dead, and now she was the only one there who was at least in the ninth ring.

Still, her power was infinitely inferior to that of Count Nirm, also in the ninth ring, but known as the greatest sword master in the entire kingdom for over two hundred years.

Surrounding her were about two hundred soldiers of the royal guard. They were powerful, well-equipped, and honorable, but not enough. "We need to hold them off for two days. The king, my husband, has not yet awakened," she said, watching the faces of those soldiers darken.

Still, none of them backed down.

Immediately, the queen walked to the front of the gates leading to the powerful and luxurious fortress that had guarded her family for many years.

Behind her were the two hundred guards with weapons in hand.

She could feel that powerful aura approaching, the sounds of blades clashing and the cries of pain and despair.

It was close.

On the horizon, beyond the huge square surrounding the castle, she could finally see a wall of steel coming toward her.

Above this human wall stood a man with piercing blue eyes and

golden hair. He stared coldly at the queen, his eyes roaming over her voluptuous, mature curves.

"Sofia, my queen... as beautiful as ever. Make way and let me pass; I promise I will give you a dignified life by my side."

Sofia's face twisted in disgust as she reached out her hand.

Her eyes flashed and the air around her became violent, her mana spreading and forming exactly a thousand blades of wind behind her.

She pointed a single finger toward Count Nirm and his men, then unleashed the attack.

The wind blades spun violently in the air before exploding in speed. "Shit!" Nirm raised his sword, gritting his teeth.

His silver steel armor glinted and his golden hair fluttered as he slashed forward, his mana forming a crimson barrier.

Unfortunately, his soldiers did not have the same chance. Sofia's blades cut through steel like butter, bringing hundreds to the ground

in a single instant.

"Ugh... you ungrateful bitch!" Nirm roared.

His powerful muscles burned beneath his armor as mana coursed

through his body.

In that land, there was magic and aura, which separated mages and

warriors.

At their core, they were identical: both used mana and had their power level defined by rings formed around a mana heart. However,

there was one fundamental difference.

The way that power was employed.

Mages were external channelers. They could strengthen their bodies, but often only used complex mathematical formulas to transform mana into spells.

Warriors, on the other hand, channeled mana into their own bodies,

strengthening themselves and using it in a similar way to what Eastern cultivators did.

This was what they called aura, and although it was treated

differently from the mana of mages, it was, in the end, the same thing.

Nirm focused all his aura on his sword and attacked. His body was engulfed in a bluish light as he catapulted himself toward Sofia. Sofia gritted her teeth and raised her hands, using a stone spell.

More than ten impenetrable barriers rose from the ground in front of

her as Nirm approached.

He didn't seem willing to stop, and he didn't.

His body crashed through the first barrier with a bang, his sword

cutting through the second and third before breaking the fourth with

a kick.

Sofia's whole body trembled, a trickle of blood running down her lips

as Nirm approached.

She knew full well that she was no match for him.

Her husband would crush him like an insect, but he couldn't fight.

'Is this really the end?"

Sofia closed her eyes. Nirm's blade cut through the last barrier, flying

toward her delicate neck.

But then, it stopped.

The air around her exploded in a shockwave.

Her dress fluttered and she covered her face, retreating to her

soldiers as a crater swallowed dozens of meters around her.

"Don't give up so easily, mother-in-law. How could your son-in-law look your daughter in the eye knowing he didn't arrive in time to save you?"

A voice echoed.

It was masculine, young, and gentle. Beautiful and calm, as soft as the

flapping of an owl's wings.

When Sofia's beautiful emerald eyes opened, there was a young man

in front of her, blocking Nirm's sword.

He was clearly not a native of that region.

His pure white robes were strange, and his features were unlike

anything Sofia had ever seen in her life. He had perfect fair skin and long, deep black hair, decorating a masculine and beautiful face.

His lips carried a gentle smile as he spun his body, his blade sliding along Nirm's sword as he unleashed a kick.

The young man's boots struck Nirm's stomach with a bang, covered in

flaming Qi, enveloping the enemy in a ball of fire and throwing him violently backwards.

Nirm's men could only flee in all directions as their lord flew through

the air, hitting a wall over twenty meters thick of solid concrete, one

of the great monuments of the capital, and sinking his body into the structure.

Sofia's lips parted, ready to say something, but she was interrupted in

the next moment.

"Mom!"

A voice echoed, sweet and feminine, slightly tearful.

That was a voice Sofia knew well.

The moment she looked up, she saw a figure throwing herself toward

her:

a voluptuous and incomparable beauty, her enormous breasts swaying in the air as she descended from the skies.

"Isabel?" Sofia's eyes widened, her arms barely opening in time to

receive her daughter's embrace.

"I missed you so much... I'm sorry for running away, but my husband

is everything to me!" Isabel declared, and before Sofia could even respond, she continued with a barrage of questions.

"And Dad, where is he? Is he okay? It was that damn Belcuckold who

plotted against him, right? Hubby is going to blow his balls off!" Isabel exclaimed, the tears on her face turning to anger.

Qingyi watched the scene with a smile, ready to introduce himself to

his mother-in-law, but stopped at the last moment.

"Brat..."

A voice echoed from behind Qingyi, hoarse and angry, like the growl

of a beast.

From the depths of the now completely cracked concrete monument, Nirm emerged, spitting blood on the ground.

The armor on his belly had completely disintegrated, small fragments

of metal falling to the ground.

Nirm's face was consumed by nothing but pure hatred. Qingyi couldn't help but be a little surprised.

That attack should have been enough to seriously injure most true

immortals, perhaps even killing the weaker ones who weren't ready to take the impact.

Yet Nirm seemed fine, suffering only superficial wounds and almost no internal damage.

"You're from the east, huh? I've heard stories of the warriors from that

region and the kind of energy they use..." Nirm grabbed his sword, his

aura exploding with full force and his murderous intent falling upon Qingyi. Nirm rose into the skies and Qingyi did the same, exchanging glances with Isabel.

With her and Sofia's power alone, even if Isabel was not well-versed in combat, it was more than enough to protect themselves. Besides, he was also curious to see the full power of a mana user. "Let's see if the stories are true. Don't disappoint me, brat!" Nirm roared, his eyes filled with a crazed light as he readied his sword.
