Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon Chapter 925 - 922: Colours

~3 minute read · 740 words

Corey was taken aback when he saw the deep hue of red on Caesar.

He had not expected to see the color on any one of them because he knew that he had not offended any one of them in any way for them to have malicious intentions toward him.

Aside from that, he had not felt a single bit of threat from either Jeremy, Elizabeth, Matias, Rorik, or Caesar himself.

In his eyes, they were a lot weaker than him, and he could defeat them with ease. Even if any one of them had malicious intentions toward him, he would be able to come out alive and victorious, and then he would kill whoever it was that tried to harm him.

This was why he had never been truly wary of Jeremy and his friends.

Most especially, Caesar.

Out of everybody that was in Jeremy’s party, Caesar was seemingly the weakest, and even his instincts felt that Caesar possessed the least amount of threat. He had never antagonized Caesar in any way, and there was even a time where they had a conversation about what they might find on the Chained Firmament.

It was a brief conversation, and they had even joked a little about the Chained Firmament.

Nothing had ever showed that Caesar had any malicious intentions toward him, and Corey was truly baffled about the revelation.

Corey furrowed his brows, and then he took a step on the Chain of Sovereignty.

He was behind the others, but he and the others did not care. To them, Corey was protecting their rear.

However, Corey’s mind was on something else completely.

Corey looked at Caesar with narrowed eyes and suspicion, and although he had the urge to increase the power behind his Eyes of Omniscience to see if what he was seeing was truly an illusion, he restrained himself because he had a feeling that it was not the right time.

If he tried to forcefully see through Caesar illusion, then the chances of him noticing would be high. Especially since he knew that Caesar was a lot stronger than he portrayed.

Corey shook his head slightly as he took several steps on the Chain of Sovereignty.

He frowned deeply.

Corey set a task to his Stars of Consciousness, and then he looked at the last two lights on Caesar.

Corey’s expression became dark as he gazed at the last two colours. Most especially, the blue color.

The hue of the blue colour was extremely deep, and apart from Pamela, no other person had such a deep hue of blue.

It showed Corey that the potential of Caesar was extremely high, and if he ever became his enemy, he had the potential to reach terrifying heights.

Corey looked at the Indigo hue surrounding Caesar, and then he shifted his gaze to Jeremy.

Although Caesar had a lot more potential compared to Jeremy, the Indigo hue around Jeremy was a lot deeper and thicker compared to any other person.

Even Pamela was not a match.

Corey was about to use on every single one of the members of the Hero Party, but he noticed something that made his expression changed slightly.

He paused for a moment, and then his expression went back to normal as he continued climbing the Chain of Sovereignty.

He noticed something different about the Chain of Sovereignty.

The moment he stepped on the Chain of Sovereignty, he had felt a force act on his body along with a strange type of energy he had never encountered before.

The energy was extremely faint, and a Star of Consciousness had attempted to analyze the energy. But because of how faint and little it was, it could not.

But now?

It was more noticeable, and even though Corey’s mind was elsewhere, he could feel the energy.

The energy tried to enter his body from his feet, and it would have worked if not for the fact that Corey prevented it from entering his body by his newfound ability.

Telekinesis

One of the abilities of his Undying Will.

From the moment he gained Undying Will, his Stars of Consciousness had been analyzing and studying his Undying Will and its abilities.

In just a few hours, Corey knew that he was fairly proficient in his usage of telekinesis, and being able to prevent the energy from touching even his feet was a sign of his improved proficiency.
