Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon Chapter 1131 - 1128: Goodbye
A dozen notifications appeared in front of Corey, and each notification was an offer from the gods for him to become their Legacy Disciples.
He had already received notifications from the Universal System for killing the incarnation of the God of Blacksmiths.
He had gone through the rewards and notifications, but he ignored them since he believed that he would not be needing them.
However, he glanced at the offers of the gods, and he would be lying to himself if he said he was not surprised by how everything was developing.
The God of Martial Arts wanted him to be his Legacy Disciple because of his physique and martial talents.
The God of Storms wanted him mainly because of his affinity for the lightning element.
The Goddess of Serpents wanted him because of his poison affinity.
The Goddess of Ice offered him the chance to be her Legacy Disciple because of his cold personality and also because she was attracted to his beauty.
The Goddess of Water, Oshimiri was the next person to offer him the opportunity, and it was also because she could sense a dense amount of water element in his body. This was because of the Water Infinity Crystal.
The God of Darkness, Lucifer wanted him because he could sense that he had a high affinity for the darkness element. When Corey heard this, he realized that this was related to his past life.
He had never taken an affinity test simply because he did not need it. His control and affinity for runes was extremely high, and it allowed him to be able to manipulate even elements he didn’t possess an extremely high affinity for.
Regardless, he knew that he had an extremely high affinity for the darkness and shadow elements based on his past life.
The Lion God wanted him to be his Legacy Disciple because of his pride and also powerful physique. According to him, it suited his path very well.
The Goddess of Earth wanted him as her Legacy Disciple because of the Earth Infinity Crystal in him. She could not sense it, but she could sense the earth element flowing inside of him, and she stated that it was both exceedingly pure and vast in quantity.
The God of Scorpions wanted him because of his affinity with poisons.
Th Sword God offered him the opportunity because of his martial talent.
Then there two gods left. These two gods troubled him because they were the strangest amongst the two, and his instincts were also warning him that these two gods were extremely dangerous.
His instincts were not warning him because they were gods, but because of something else. Something he could not put his finger on.
Both gods just unnerved him, and both of them sent the same thing to him as the other gods.
The God of Miracles told him that he was offering the opportunity to be his Legacy Disciple because of his relationship with Jeremy, the King of the Kingdom of Miracles.
There was no other reason, and Corey found this highly suspicious.
Of all the gods, Corey was wary of the God of Miracles the most.
Why?
Because he had a feeling the God of Miracles had been observing him for a long time compared to the other gods.
He had lived and visited the Kingdom of Miracles many times, and the God of Miracles was who the citizens of the Kingdom served.
He had never entered the Temple because of pure caution, but he believes that the God of Miracles might have been observing him one way or the other.
Corey furrowed his brows slightly when he thought of this.
Then, the Sun God.
Corey had no knowledge of this god, but something about him just felt off to him.
He instinctively did not like him, and the god even gave no reason why he wanted him to be his Legacy Disciple.
His affinity with flames was very high, but not unfathomably high and unbelievable like Divine. The God also did not mention his so he believed that he had no idea about it.
He had no connection with the god, and it just felt odd and wrong to him.
The Sun God was also the only god who had not said a single word ever since he appeared.
He was just strange.
Despite his thoughts on the Sun God and the God of Miracles, Corey already knew what his decision would be.
None of these gods were worthy to accept him as their student.
They had no idea what he truly was and the depths of his potential.
He had no idea what their potentials were or if they had already reached the end of their potential, but he knew of beings who could kill these so called gods with a flick of their finger and with a thought.
They were weaklings in the grand scheme of things, and Corey’s heart was not rippled in the slightest when he got the offers.
He wanted to reject them all, but then he thought of the fact that he’d most likely need to leave New Earth.
He already had a plan, but it would be better if he had the backing of a god if he’s eventually forced to leave New Earth.
A light smile could not help but appear on Corey’s lips when he thought of this.
He expected something like this to happen if he succeeded in his plans, and he doubted any god would still want him to be their disciple if he became the enemy of the Universal System.
Corey shifted his gaze from the notification screens to the gods.
"I still have a lot of things to do. Once I’m done, I’ll make my decision or... You guys will make your decision on if you still want me as your Legacy Disciple."
"What?" The Ice Goddess frowned in confusion but Corey didn’t bother to clarify.
He looked at the Martial God.
"I’ve entertained you guys enough. Goodbye."
Without waiting for a response, Corey vanished, completely shocking the gods.
