The biggest objective of Corey’s plan was to ensure that the world tree did not perish, and that she would be able to fight Anton all by itself.

The world tree was as powerful as an Immortal, and since Syrelle was occupied by Thalos, he needed the world tree to fight Anton.

Although Corey had no idea if the world tree could defeat Anton, but for Corey, as long as Anton was occupied, he and Pamela would deal with the priest and mage.

However, the world tree transmitted to Corey that she was fearful of the book in Anton’s hands since it felt like Anton was holding a true piece of death with him.

She also told him that she knows that although she might have a lot of power, her combat abilities were limited.

Compared to humans and other creatures that could move, her physical structure was not built for combat. She was meant to nurture her world, and her ability to control storms and lightning was just to defend herself.

Although Corey never told her that he wanted her to take care of Anton, it was obvious and certain that she was the one to do that.

However, she knew her limits. So, she proposed a technique that was not known to the public. A technique that was only known to the individual who had a connection with the world tree.

For example, Queen Nerith.

After having these thoughts and many other thoughts in less than two seconds, he began questioning the world tree.

"So, you’re saying that if I fuse with you, I’ll be able to fight the leader of the Freedom Fighters and Syrelle?"

Corey raised a brow in surprise. "Tier 6? You’ll temporarily raise my Tier to Tier 6?"

The world tree said those words without thinking, but Corey raised a brow when he heard that. He smelled an opportunity.

"If I don’t become a Tier 6, you’ll become my servant?"

Corey could literally see the world tree having a suspicious expression on her face as she spoke, and his lips curved up slightly.

"Of course, I don’t plan on doing that since my life is literally at stake over here. But you’ll become my servant if I don’t become a Tier 6, right?" Corey asked once again.

Corey nodded. "Good. Just make sure you don’t take back your word."

Corey was not certain, but he had a feeling that the world tree would not be able to improve his Tier to Tier 6 due to his unique nature as a Demi-Paragon with an Omniscient Talent, a Cosmic Soul, and his deep foundation.

He was also curious to see just how far the world tree would be able to improve his Tier.

Meanwhile, the world tree was confused as to why Corey seemed so confident that she would not be able to make him a Tier 6.

Most people would hope for such a thing, but Corey was seemingly hoping for the opposite.

The world tree thought.

The world tree hummed, and then she asked a question that was on her mind.

Corey tilted his head slightly. "Are you as strong as a god?"

Corey smiled. "In my mind, I am a god. Let’s begin."

Just as Corey said this, he turned and looked in the direction of Anton. When he saw Pope Arzhel and Tessa Liora, there was no change in his expression since he had sensed their auras from the moment they appeared in this world.

Although he had no idea how Pope Arzhel was here, and why there was no other person with him, a part of him was relieved.

He had been worried that Pope Arzhel would find a way to escape, and that he would have to start looking for the man.

Or, he was also worried that the Pope would die at the hands of somebody else, which was something he did not want at all.

Pope Arzhel noticed his gaze, and then he waved at him with a smile.

Corey’s expression remained cold and indifferent, and then he turned back to the world tree.

"Let’s begin."

She asked out of pure consideration and not concern.

"Just do it."
