Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure Chapter 2062: Domain

Given the authority I wielded over this region, my thoughts inevitably turned to a method frequently depicted in tales from my former life.
"Is this a domain?" The question slipped into my mind as I gazed upon the encircling layer of soil.
Based on my knowledge of domains from that previous existence, this qualified as one because it represented a zone under my sway through divine energy.
Yet, the nature of this particular domain eluded me.
Although it seemed I could manipulate every element within this expanse, no extraordinary abilities emerged from the space itself.
Typically, domains possess a defining special trait, but this one arose from soil born of the divine energy I infused into the stone column.
Nothing inherently remarkable marked this soil from the start.
After pondering the matter, I flicked my wrist, allowing the soil to cascade back to the earth.
Next, I retrieved the orb, raising it before me while concentrating on unleashing its potent force.
The soil had merely been shaped by my divine energy, yet it wasn't truly my own creation, limiting what I could achieve with it.
"Perhaps I ought to experiment with forming a domain using items I've personally forged."
However, as I clutched the orb, uncertainty lingered about what materials to employ for crafting such a domain; no particular substance seemed required to establish it nearby.
Thus, after brief contemplation, I summoned the identical armaments as earlier.
Once manifested, I directed them to encircle me just as the soil had done previously.
Though I anticipated no grand outcome from this trial, the instant the armaments ringed me...
"So this is a domain?" My eyes fixed on how the armaments aligned themselves.
I had merely intended for the armaments to enclose me, yet they organized into what appeared as a deliberate array, without any prior instructions from me to do so.
This sight struck me as peculiar, but a clear bond emanated from the armaments.
A mere intention from me would suffice to...
"Attack."
Upon uttering the command, an alteration swept through the armaments.
A number of those positioned at my rear vanished abruptly, though I recognized this as their transformation; the divine energy composing them had dissolved and shifted across the array.
This divine energy surged toward my chosen strike point, infusing the armaments there, where it reformed them into blades that thrust forward at the designated spot.
"Defend."
Issuing this directive caused the armaments to disintegrate anew into divine energy. While a handful lingered as channels, the majority reverted to that ethereal state.
Suddenly, a barrier materialized out of nowhere.
This wasn't some makeshift guard from armaments; it was a genuine shield crafted from an enigmatic substance.
Observing this development, I pressed on by alternating the divine energy between these states.
That said, I incorporated a couple of variations.
Rather than solely armaments, I transformed portions of the divine energy into bows that unleashed arrows of divine energy toward my selected targets.
The domain I had shaped held the power to manifest whatever I envisioned, provided I supplied the divine energy to bring it forth.
Yet it extended further, thanks to the divine energy saturating this realm.
This implied that any conception in my mind could materialize within the domain's bounds.
Thus, it transcended mere command over divine energy-forged armaments, advancing to full dominion over the entire area via the released divine energy.
Any assault I launched now responded in mere instants, slashing reaction times to fractions of a second.
This marked a vast leap beyond my earlier orb-based combat methods.
The sole concern nagging at me was the potential scope of expanding this domain.
"Time to put it to the test." I whispered to myself, then unleashed a greater surge of divine energy. As it flowed out, I sensed the domain expanding steadily until it hit an impasse and ceased broadening.
The issue wasn't insufficient might to propel further growth; rather, my control over divine energy imposed a boundary. Even with abundant reserves, the domain couldn't absorb more.
It boiled down to proficiency, not raw strength.
Nevertheless, with my current skill level, the domain enveloped a substantial territory.
After all, this was a fresh ability, so my lack of expertise came as no surprise.
But considering I had stumbled upon this insight while dispatched to aid these stone beings...
A suspicion flickered within me, questioning if my assignment here had been deliberate.
In the end, though, I dismissed the notion since it held no relevance.
Intentional or otherwise, uncovering the truth lay beyond my reach.
The greater my command over this force, the stronger my position.
The more versatile my applications, the safer I'd remain moving forward.
