Vritra finds himself in a desperate struggle against the overwhelming power of Drino, barely surviving a massive explosion only to face a relentless assault. Despite utilizing time manipulation and his soul wraiths, Vritra suffers devastating injuries, including the loss of an arm and the destruction of two hearts. Just as Drino prepares a final, space-rending execution strike, a mysterious intervention forces the attack to miss, allowing Vritra a momentary escape. Vanessa, Fiona, Diana, and Maeve arrive on the battlefield to protect him, but their presence only provokes Drino further. Driven by blind rage at the sight of her wounded husband, Fiona charges directly at the monstrous demi-god.

Drino smirked, observing the small family standing before him. Did they actually think their pathetic power would suffice to halt his progress? There was still plenty of time remaining before the laws of the planet began to weaken his strength.

‘I never imagined Divine would invest so heavily in a local; he’s practically a demi god on such a feeble world,’ Drino mused, witnessing Vritra’s prowess. His combat skills, grit, and lack of fear weren't mere handouts; Divine must have dragged him through purgatory to forge him into this state.

‘But what if that god attempts to reclaim my spoils? I’ll need to find a proper hiding spot for them.’ The demi god was already plotting how to conceal his future loot. Suddenly, before anyone could blink, Fiona lunged toward him.

Vritra attempted to intercept her, but his recovering body lacked the necessary speed to react. Her physical form shifted into crimson fire, shedding every trace of her human appearance.

‘OH!! The Undead Mythic Halo!!’ Drino’s eyes widened with pure shock at the sight of the blood-red blaze. This was among the most coveted mythic halos in existence. It was valued even more than Nihil Anima, as it granted literal immortality alongside devastating offensive power.

Drino was consumed by joy; how could he be so fortunate? Three mythic halos in a single location, and every one of them was top-tier. This was far beyond what he had anticipated.

“Haha! Even your family knows how to treat a guest! They are coming forward on their own to hand these treasures over to me!!” Drino erupted in a crazed laughter. Despite being a demi god, these artifacts could propel his strength to astronomical levels instantly.

Fiona’s form became intangible as the ambient temperature spiked, the red flames devouring everything in sight. Drino continued his manic laughing, confident that a single strike would be enough to break her, regardless of her mythic halo. After all, she was merely a Lord; how much power could she truly possess?

BOOOOM!!

The air shook with a thunderous roar as the shockwave from Drino’s punch rippled outward. Vritra teleported to their side, but the blow had already connected with Fiona. Yet, contrary to expectations, the fist simply phased through her. Immediately, the flames surged up his right arm and climbed onto the demi god’s face.

Drino grunted as his eyes began to sear. Fiona materialized again about a dozen meters away, completely unharmed. The blood-red fire continued to feast on his head and arm, proving nearly impossible to extinguish. Drino realized that using his Mana to suppress the fire would only serve as more fuel for the blaze.

While the flames were dangerous, they weren't fatal yet. If he could just slay Fiona and claim the Undead Flame, he would be victorious. Turning toward the redhead, Drino let out a furious howl, but before he could leap forward, a long strip of cloth snared his feet.

To his shock, he was unable to snap or escape the simple-looking fabric. Looking back, he saw Vanessa manipulating it. He prepared to strike her, but a massive portal suddenly manifested behind the white-haired woman.

“A—A lesser goddess?” Drino looked startled, but his surprise turned to genuine terror as he felt the holy energy radiating from the ethereal gates. “T-There is no way you can command the power of a god!!” Drino screamed in confusion, sensing the presence of multiple divine beings within that gateway.

Diana stood with her eyes closed, her form radiating a brilliant light that gave her the appearance of a true goddess. As the massive gates behind her swung wide, a crushing pressure descended upon Drino. A spectral hand, hundreds of times larger than the demi god, began to take shape in the sky.

Space itself vibrated. Drino tried to dodge, but the cloth bound to his feet held him firm for that crucial second. Furthermore, the red flames hindered his ability to channel Mana properly. In the following instant…

BOOOOM!!

The colossal palm slammed into the demi god. He resisted for a mere heartbeat before being hammered deep into the earth. Diana coughed, her Mana completely drained. As her body began to collapse, Vritra moved swiftly to catch her.

“Oh!” He looked at the coordinated strike of his wives, genuinely impressed. It appeared they weren't as defenseless against a demi god as he had assumed.

“Are you alright?” he asked, gazing at the goddess’s stunning face.

“Haa, yeah…” Diana leaned into him, her breathing heavy and labored from exhaustion.

“Here, drink this.” Vritra produced a potent Mana potion and held the bottle to her lips. He then glanced toward Vanessa and Fiona, who were both standing their ground. Although the previous attack was formidable, it hadn't been enough to finish Drino.

“Honey, let’s fight as one.” Vanessa approached Vritra, the pinkish cloth swirling around her with expert control.

“Darling, don’t fret. We aren't as weak as we used to be,” Fiona added as she joined them. Vritra realized he had truly underestimated his wives. He had become so accustomed to being their shield that he hadn't realized they were now capable of being his sword.

“Fine, let’s take down this lizard together.” Vritra nodded before turning to Maeve. Since she hadn't received a powerful treasure yet, she couldn't contribute much to this level of combat.

“Master, please be careful,” Maeve said, understanding her limits without being stubborn. Vritra gave her a small smile and sent her into the Divine Realm for safety.

A moment later, the enraged demi god soared back into the air. The red fire still clung to him, and visible damage marred his scales. “You are all dead!!” he bellowed, brandishing two long metallic whips.

Before he could lash out, the magical cloth entangled his weapons. Fiona transformed into flames once more and vanished. Having recovered most of his strength through his wives' intervention, Vritra also disappeared from sight.

“You think this can stop me?!!” Since the cloth wouldn't break, Drino simply yanked it toward him, his raw strength far exceeding Vanessa’s. However, a heavy kick suddenly connected with his jaw. After the strike, Vritra vanished again, and Fiona appeared behind the enemy.

Terrifying waves of fire erupted, drowning his body in heat. Vritra utilized Misty Essence to ensure Drino’s counterattacks hit nothing but air, while allowing Nihil Anima to gnaw at the demi god's soul.

The four of them launched a synchronized assault. Even though the Undead Mythic Halo, the magical cloth, and the God’s Tomb allowed the women to fight, they were still fundamentally outmatched in power. Consequently, Vritra took the lead, parrying every blow to protect them while charging his Radioactive Fist meter.

Every time Drino attempted to target one of them, he was hit from three different directions, and not a single one of his swings found its mark. Vritra allowed Goop to consume two more of the enemy's armaments, further empowering his own weapon.

They moved like a blur, maintaining a high-speed offensive. While killing Drino still seemed like a distant goal, they were successfully holding their own by fighting together. The demi god’s frustration grew; Vritra refused to let him touch the women, and their constant interference was driving him mad.
