Having finalized their arrangements, Oliver along with his companions exited the restaurant amid lively chatter and high spirits.
Right outside the venue, two opulent vehicles were already stationed, ready to transport them.
The group's gazes sparkled upon seeing them, though they restrained any overt displays of thrill.
Remember, the evening's aim was simply to bond and enjoy each other's company.
As soon as the entire gathering boarded the vehicles, the chauffeurs accelerated off, heading toward a popular nightclub just beyond the city limits.
This spot was identical to the one Oliver had visited previously with his sibling, Amara.
He felt a strong anticipation to observe the women's responses once they immersed themselves in the atmosphere.
Though the journey was brief, the interior of the lavish car buzzed with vibrant energy.
Following thirty minutes on the road, the automobiles halted before a majestic doorway decked out in glowing neon and pulsing strobe illumination.
Stepping out from the vehicle alongside Maya, Linda, and Emma, Oliver's sight drifted to the enormous signage proclaiming 'Nightmare Club', which lit up the entire area.
Shortly after, Ron, Brenda, Sarah, and Rebecca emerged from their rides, eyeing the attractive men and alluring women queued up near the entrance.
"This spot looks really crowded! Think we'll have trouble getting through?" Ron inquired with concern, dreading the chance they'd be stuck waiting ages outside.
Maya patted her son's shoulder and grinned. "Relax! We can chat while we stand in line like the rest, and it won't drag on."
"Yeah! Check out those guards at the door. Nobody's going to stir up issues here." Sarah chimed in, noting the formidable appearance of the bouncers as they managed the throng.
Those guards were certainly burly fellows sporting stern looks, yet one feature caught the eye above all.
It concerned the way their glances frequently scanned the figures of the women positioned before them.
Apparently, this formed a perk of employment in this line of work.
Amused by their responses, Oliver laughed softly while retrieving his mobile to send a quick message, receiving a reply in mere moments.
In short order, he stowed his device and gave an approving nod. "No need to fret! We won't have to line up."
"Why's that?" The others questioned, puzzled about Oliver's apparent influence.
With a shake of his head and a broad smile, Oliver replied, "You'll find out shortly. Just observe and have fun!"
True to his words, a fellow emerged from the club's doorway, scanning the area until spotting Oliver's party.
He then hastened over bearing a wide smile. "Mr. Oliver! Greetings at Nightmare Club. I've been informed of your coming; allow me to guide you to the booked area!"
The whole crew's eyes bulged in astonishment, all pivoting to Oliver for clarification.
"Oops... Did I neglect to say I booked it? Apologies! It must've escaped me." Oliver remarked casually, feigning obliviousness to his own action.
Brenda elbowed him lightly. "You kidding? Quit the bragging! Hurry and lead us in."
"Hahaha, alright, alright! Time to head inside!" Oliver agreed, then motioned to the attendant to proceed ahead.
The staff member inclined his head respectfully before pivoting to enter the establishment.
The rest trailed behind, and before long, they stepped into Nightmare Club.
Upon entry, the thumping tunes exploded from the sound system, mingled with the raucous yells and movements of the crowd, causing the group to flinch slightly from the assault.
Yet soon, they adjusted and gazed about in wonder, absorbing the surroundings.
Swarms of folks grooved to the pounding rhythm across the dance area.
The deep bass throbbed through their frames, stirring thrill and conveying the essence of a true nightlife venue.
Sticking close to their escort, they bypassed the dance zone and ascended to what appeared a premium lounge area.
Their usher directed them to the designated spot, featuring multiple spacious leather sofas encircling a central table.
"This is your area." He announced politely. "Mr. Oliver, inform me of the beverages you'd like for you and your friends. We offer an extensive range of liquors and also soft drinks."
Oliver pondered briefly before requesting several premium bottles of whiskey and wine, plus some appetizers to pair with them.
"Excellent! Your order will arrive promptly." Saying so, the guide departed to arrange it.
The moment he was gone, Maya surveyed the space in awe, sinking into a plush sofa. "Incredible! I've visited plenty of clubs, but never a VIP spot like this one."
Linda settled beside Maya and queried in disbelief. "Really? You've got plenty of cash, right? So why haven't you splurged on this before?"
"Come on... It's not just about cash here, understand? Plenty of elements play in." Maya responded with a wry grin, then drew a cigarette holder from her bag and placed one between her lips.
However, she hesitated, recalling a detail as her eyes met Oliver's. "Uh... Oliver? Mind if I light up?"
