My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 827 Somewhere Beyond [Bonus Release]
Previously on My Talent's Name Is Generator...
He glided down in a graceful curve and touched down next to me, tucking his wings securely against his back. From this proximity, his features appeared even more intense than before, devoid of any lingering playfulness.
"This location stinks of foulness," he murmured softly.
"It used to," I answered. "Almost all of it's vanished now."
His gaze swept over the urban landscape. "So, what do you require from me?"
I gazed into the distance, detecting the faint vibrations still coursing through the world as it settled into its restored equilibrium.
Next, I tilted my head upward and stared at the heavens.
A pair of moons orbited the globe, ghostly white against the azure sky, tracing silent paths over the scarred planet. During my link with the core, I hadn't just perceived the urban areas and reproduction sites. Something additional had registered. Not powerful enough to dominate the world, yet intentional enough to stay concealed.
Upon each of the moons.
I extended my arm and indicated the moon on the right side.
"Do you notice that moon?" I asked, eyes fixed ahead. "In my connection to the core, I detected a presence on each. Handle the right one. I'll manage the left. Should you encounter anyone, seize the commander."
"It's as good as done," Silver responded.
Scarlet fog erupted around him without delay. His frame swelled, skeleton and flesh reforming as he shifted into his colossal shape. Vaporous wings spread wide from his shoulders, and moments later, he rocketed skyward like a propelled arrow, piercing the air layers.
I eased part of the dimensional barrier encircling the city. After he passed the higher altitudes, the barrier reformed without a hitch.
My focus turned to the moon on the left.
The void warped in my vicinity.
Fine fissures spiderwebbed across the terrain under my boots from a brief surge of force, and then I propelled myself upward. The atmosphere parted violently as I surged through it, the world's expanse dwindling swiftly beneath. Seas bent into sight. Landmasses converged toward the edge of vision. The ruined settlements I'd obliterated appeared as mere pale marks from this vantage.
While ascending, I projected my dimensional awareness and seized the positional markers spanning the world and its satellite. Rather than traversing the expanse, I ripped open a direct passage across it. The void buckled fiercely before me, shrinking the void into a squeezed route.
The planet receded behind in mere moments. The left moon swelled in my sight, its terrain dull and riddled with collision marks. However, under that desolate facade, I detected structured activity.
Drawing nearer, the anomaly became sharper in my senses.
A shroud enveloped the moon, faint yet detectable. A multi-tiered disguise crafted to hide what lurked below the crust. It paled in strength compared to the planetary core's safeguard, but it existed all the same.
I decelerated right before the invisible barrier and thrust my fist ahead. Vital force packed densely along my limb, solidifying into a compact form that blasted forward like a fired shot. The collision hit the secret shroud and ripped it apart in a savage tear. The obscuring barrier fragmented entirely, shards of twisted void flaking off and evaporating into the emptiness encircling the moon.
What revealed itself was far from a barren stone.
It served as a outpost.
To be precise, a compact urban area etched into the lunar terrain and enclosed under a clear canopy. Lines of dwellings flanked rounded avenues, with a solitary spire towering at the heart, surpassing all else.
As my awareness expanded over the sealed community, the stirrings in the spire caught my attention first. Various racial energies gathered closely, their presences edged with tension.
Within the spire, the frenzy was intense.
Their focus pointed earthward, to the world below. Via intricate void formations integrated into the building, they had observed the main base and forwarded reports to a superior authority far beyond this satellite.
I denied them any chance to respond.
In one stride, I warped the void and materialized in the tower's core room. The space brimmed with illusory displays and void surveillance setups, all aimed at the world I'd just transformed.
Prior to any alert sounding, I unleashed a measured wave of Vital force.
The pulse burst forth from my position, impacting every occupant in the room at once. Forms slumped over controls and surfaces as unconsciousness overtook them in a unified sweep.
Quiet descended at once.
I advanced deliberately, examining the primary control panel.
The link for messages stayed active.
Streams of written updates and captured signals flowed on the screen. The final batch of dispatches lingered in view, halted midway.
"Order of Absolute leader is captured."
"He is attacking the leaders."
"He is gone, unable to track him."
"The planet changed, there is a violet shield surrounding it."
"All the breeding grounds were destroyed in a massive attack."
"He is flyi–"
The signal ended abruptly there.
I observed the incomplete entry briefly.
They had followed my actions live.
This spire functioned as a satellite oversight hub, overseeing surface activities and passing data farther afield. Elsewhere past this moon lay a superior connection point. I rested my hand on the main panel and let my dimensional insight infiltrate its framework. Via it, I pursued the subtle trace of the most recent outgoing signal, following its path anchor.
The connection extended outward from this moon, weaving through remote locations.
They hadn't foreseen the spire falling under threat. Nor my swift arrival here.
A subtle grin touched my lips as I tracked the departing signal to its endpoint. The markers indicated a vastly remote spot. The sheer span revealed much.
Only two probable scenarios came to mind.
Either a supposed ally to the Prime Universe received these details, or the Eternals maintained a live surveillance outpost in that region. Each scenario posed equal peril.
I breathed out steadily.
No need lingered to maintain this surveillance station.
With a casual gesture of my arm, I bundled the insensate figures from the spire into a void containment and exited, ascending into the void over the domed urban area.
I glanced at the lunar outpost once more and directed my hand below.
Violet Vital force gathered swiftly, pulled from my stores. An enormous hand of packed violet glow materialized over the facility. It lingered for a split second before plummeting down at incredible velocity.
The collision proved total.
The canopy broke apart initially, its defenses crumbling right away under the assault. The hand slammed into the core spire and plunged through, unleashing a catastrophic release of packed power on impact.
BOOM.
Clouds of pulverized rock and debris blasted into the void.
As the glow dimmed and remnants floated as scattered pieces, no trace of the outpost survived. The urban site had vanished utterly. In its stead yawned a vast depression gouged profoundly into the moon's surface.
The surveillance station had ceased to exist. The connection pathway lay broken. Solely the positional data persisted in my thoughts.
And far distant past this moon, someone now pondered the abrupt silence of their stream.
