My Talent's Name Is Generator Chapter 804 A Deal

Aurora remained motionless in front of him.
Her glowing golden figure emitted a gentle luminescence, yet it failed to lighten the heavy quietness enveloping the bound form. The emptiness stretched endlessly and uncaring, its hush so absolute that her very being seemed to disrupt it.
The bound entity kept his head lowered. His frame stayed hunched, with tangled, wild hair covering his features. Red chains floated lazily nearby, their languid motion suggesting that urgency had no place in this realm.
A few moments passed before he let out a breath.
"It's your mess," he whispered softly. "You handle it."
Aurora tilted her head, taking the criticism without protest.
"We have," she responded. "All forecasts showed steadiness. His advancement stayed inside predicted limits."
A soft laugh slipped from him. It held no trace of humor.
"Predicted limits," he muttered. "You talk like you grasp what you've brought into being."
Gradually, he lifted his head.
His features came into view from the darkness.
"You rushed it."
Aurora locked eyes with him. She paused before replying.
"The process adhered to every needed requirement," she finally stated. "Activation happened solely once the candidate achieved the required levels."
He observed her quietly.
"And yet," he remarked, "he was not ready."
Aurora's face stayed unchanged, though her tone grew more subdued.
"There was a 0.003 percent probability of destabilization."
The chains moved slightly as he chuckled softly to himself.
"Such faith in numbers," he commented. "Such certainty."
His eyes wandered beyond her, fixing on some far-off, invisible point.
"And he broke them anyway."
Aurora offered no contradiction.
"Yes."
Silence fell once more.
This time, it lingered even longer.
"You do not understand what you are dealing with," he declared.
Aurora selected her response with care.
"It was a calculated risk. The System determined sufficient understanding to proceed."
His gaze shifted back to her.
"No," he replied plainly. "You understand patterns. You understand outcomes. But you do not understand him."
Aurora stood her ground.
"The candidate has exceeded every measurable threshold. His soul density, law comprehension, and growth rate surpass all prior records at his stage."
He heard her out without breaking in.
"And yet," he repeated, his voice now softer, "he was not ready."
Aurora maintained eye contact.
"The destabilization resulted from variables outside projected models. Theras was not expected to regain functional presence."
A shadow crossed his face subtly.
"And still," he noted, "you trusted the model."
This wasn't posed as a query.
"You built a prison around something you did not fully understand. And you trusted probability to hold it."
Aurora bore the full impact of his words.
"We trusted the sequence."
The chains swayed gently as he reclined.
"The boy was not meant to face him yet," he stated. "Not before he understood what he carries."
Aurora responded without delay.
"Then help us."
His eyes narrowed a touch.
"You want my intervention."
"Yes."
"If I act," he warned, "the path changes. It will no longer follow your design."
"That may already be unavoidable."
His stare intensified.
"If I act, he will accelerate. He will reach thresholds far sooner than intended."
Aurora kept her eyes steady on him.
"That may be necessary."
He regarded her for a brief while, then breathed out.
"I will help you but there will be a condition."
Her gaze rose faintly.
"He will not reach Saint," he declared. "Not until I permit it."
The statement hung heavily in the air between them. Aurora grasped the implication of his demand. She stayed quiet for a few beats, her mind reaching out well past the void.
Finally, she nodded.
"The System agrees."
The chains rustled lightly.
"Good," he replied.

Distantly, buried deep inside the upside-down mountain, Theras's finger pressed lightly to my brow while a pale white glow started to form where it touched. His eyelids drifted shut gradually, his face serene and confident, and I sensed his essence probing inside me with careful intent. It wasn't forceful, more like an unstoppable certainty, as if an immense and timeless force had focused entirely on me. His intent pushed into the profound depths of my being, seeking access, extending toward my soul space.
The Dawn Core stirred before that essence could breach the barrier completely.
In the heart of my internal realm, the secluded isle that had stayed veiled in blackness for so long reacted to his approach. I sensed the change prior to comprehending it, a faint alteration rippling through my inner Essence, reminiscent of some primordial force rousing from dormancy. The island's exterior wavered, upsetting the flawless equilibrium that had prevailed, and from that hidden core, a red chain materialized. It traversed my form as if I posed no obstacle worth noting.
The chain slammed into Theras right at his chest's core.
A fierce blast erupted from the collision, exploding outward and warping the atmosphere while rattling the chamber's foundations. Old symbols etched on the nearby walls blazed to life in an instant, flaring with dazzling brightness to soak up and confine the energy lest it expand unchecked. Theras's eyes snapped open immediately, and for the first instance I'd witnessed, his poise shattered. His form got hurled back, wings unfurling broadly as he battled to regain balance, the smooth mastery from seconds ago now overtaken by abrupt opposition. Simultaneously, the unseen grip that had restrained my movements dissolved entirely, like the command he'd imposed on me had been cut off against his will.
He wasn't focused on me anymore.
His attention locked onto the red chain hovering midway between us, hanging in the empty air. As I observed, the chain started to disintegrate, links detaching and crumbling into tiny red specks. These specks didn't disperse chaotically or vanish. Rather, they hovered in the atmosphere, poised and expectant, then slowly converged, pulled by an unseen pull.
The light-tiled section of the hall undulated, its face altering as shadows crept over it. The red specks clustered by its border, solidifying and shaping up. I observed the contour of a head take shape, then shoulders and a body's form, until a full silhouette appeared next to me.
It was a shadow identical to those I'd confronted earlier.
