My Longevity Simulation Chapter 1041: Yin-Yang Dual Cultivation

It is commonly said that a thief never departs empty-handed.
This journey to the Du'e Sect had required a significant amount of exertion.
Leaving without a prize was simply not Li Fan’s way of doing things.
Stroking his chin, Li Fan's soul clone contemplated the situation for a long duration before a sudden inspiration struck him.
He began to construct an additional layer of sealing around the Book of Du'e, one of his own design.
Given his current level of Cultivation, Li Fan was still unable to manage the Book of Du'e if it were not suppressed by its seal.
Forging something from nothingness proved far more taxing than merely fixing what existed.
Even after pouring the entirety of this one-third of his soul into the task, he could not reach a smooth conclusion.
Fortunately, Li Fan's original body had been waiting outside this dimension and had already dispatched another third of his soul to provide reinforcement.
Following two months of arduous work, a brand-new, comprehensive seal was finally established around the Book of Du'e.
Under the weight of this double suppression, the Book of Du'e began to cycle through its pages with increasing speed.
The silhouettes of the paper figures trapped within started to blur and lose their definition.
Once he was certain the seal's integrity was firm, Li Fan moved to deconstruct the ancient seal left behind by the Immortal Ancestor.
He remained at the peak of mental alertness throughout the entire dismantling process.
Simultaneously, his true body retreated a thousand miles into the distance, keeping a silent watch for any signs of trouble.
Ultimately, Li Fan's anxieties were proved to be for naught.
No strange phenomena occurred even after the Immortal Ancestor's seal was entirely stripped away.
Li Fan couldn't help but exhale a long sigh of relief.
Enveloping the Book of Du'e within his soul, he retraced his steps out of the speck-of-dust space.
The soul clone did not rejoin the main body; instead, it traveled ahead to the Spiritwood Realm alone.
Meanwhile, Li Fan's true body went to give a report to the Tianxuan Mirror clone.
“What took you so long? I suspected you might have encountered some complications.”
The Tianxuan Mirror clone spoke, having assumed a new identity as a seductive woman draped in a vibrant red gown.
Li Fan’s face momentarily stiffened.
He looked at the three naked mortals present in the chamber and asked in shock, “What is the meaning of this...”
The Tianxuan Mirror clone dismissed Li Fan's bewilderment entirely.
“It is simply the process of grasping a new path of Cultivation.”
“A life devoid of intimacy is fundamentally flawed. Since I have adopted a human form, it is only natural that I undergo every experience a person should.”
Li Fan stared at the breathtaking beauty manifested by the Tianxuan Mirror clone and remarked with a strange look, “Even so, there was no requirement for you to take the form of a woman.”
“I must live as both male and female. It is merely a question of sequence.” The Tianxuan Mirror clone shook its head and shifted the topic. “How did things go on your end?”
“The formation designed to break the seal functioned perfectly. If everything continues as planned, your freedom from imprisonment is imminent. However...” Li Fan paused. “That Du'e Sect is quite peculiar. When I arrived, the Immortal Ancestor's seal had already partially loosened. By the time I finished breaking it, the entire Du'e Sect vanished right before my eyes,” Li Fan explained with a hint of frustration.
The Tianxuan Mirror clone's eyes narrowed slightly.
After a brief moment of reflection, it clarified, “There is no cause for concern. As long as the great calamity of the Xuanhuang Realm persists, the members of the Du'e Sect will remain trapped in that state forever.”
“The most they can manage are a few petty deceptions.”
Li Fan took the chance to probe further, “Are you saying that if the Xuanhuang Realm ever survives this disaster, the Du'e Sect could actually return to life?”
A flicker of murderous intent crossed his gaze.
The Tianxuan Mirror clone gave a dismissive laugh. “It is only a theoretical possibility. They attempted to turn into paper figures to outlast the calamity, but they never expected the wait to be this eternal.”
“After spending nearly ten millennia as paper cutouts, how could they not suffer side effects? You might as well consider them all deceased.”
Li Fan nodded slowly as he processed this information.
After a brief silence, he spoke again: "I made some inquiries before I arrived. It seems the Du'e Sect believes in a 'Calamity Responder' who can aid them in surmounting disasters. Is there any truth to that?"
"If such a legendary figure truly exists, I must hunt down this Calamity Responder to ensure the Du'e Sect never rises again." Li Fan spoke with a tone of virtuous fury.
The Tianxuan Mirror clone frowned: "Based on the internal techniques of the Du'e Sect, such a Calamity Responder does indeed exist."
"The members of the Du'e Sect remain detached, evading disasters. However, they can perceive the flow and the variables of calamities within their hearts. The individual capable of shifting the disaster is what they call the Calamity Responder. But..."
The Tianxuan Mirror clone let out a mocking sneer: "For minor disasters, the Xuanhuang Realm would naturally produce a destined hero to change fate and rescue the masses."
"But when faced with a world-ending great calamity, the Xuanhuang Realm is struggling just to survive. Where would such a hero come from?"
"A Calamity Responder with the power to end this disaster is nothing more than a fantasy."
The Tianxuan Mirror clone suddenly went quiet, as if lost in a memory.
After a long pause, it spoke with a touch of nostalgia: "If such a person actually existed, I suspect every cultivator in the Xuanhuang Realm would do everything in their power to support him."
"Even the Immortal Ancestor would likely descend to meet him personally."
A nearly invisible light flickered in Li Fan's eyes.
He gave a forced chuckle and agreed: "You're right. To save our own lives, we can only rely on ourselves."
"Depending on some mythical savior like the Du'e Sect is truly nonsensical. It's better that they are gone!"
Moving past the subject of the Du'e Sect, Li Fan—having finished confirming the seal's destruction—turned to the Tianxuan Mirror clone to collect his payment.
The Tianxuan Mirror clone kept its promise: "While you were away, I studied the human condition in this female form and reached new realizations."
"These can serve as a guide for you."
Li Fan’s expression shifted, and he was on the verge of declining.
However, when he saw what the Tianxuan Mirror clone was offering, he held his tongue.
Held in the Tianxuan Mirror clone's hand was a piece of white jade carved like a crescent moon.
It radiated a soft, soothing energy.
Just by being near it, Li Fan sensed his spiritual power and the flow within his soul becoming more fluid.
"This is..."
A look of pride appeared on the Tianxuan Mirror clone's face: "As the saying goes, a solitary yang cannot persist. It seems you have not experienced the balance of yin and yang for a long time?"
"A solitary yang is indeed powerful, but without the support of yin energy, flaws will inevitably appear."
"This is a creation born from my observations and understanding of the human female form. It is called the [Long Moon Yin Jade], and it shall assist you!"
Hearing this, Li Fan's face became quite strange.
Noticing Li Fan's hesitation and silence, the Tianxuan Mirror clone advised him seriously: "The dual cultivation of Yin and Yang is a profound Dao of the heavens; there is no reason to spurn it."
"Furthermore, this Long Moon Yin Jade is a manifestation of pure laws. Even if you have a personal dislike for the concept, it will not hinder its effectiveness."
Li Fan accepted the gift with some reluctance and placed the jade against his chest.
As expected, there was no need for formal refinement.
Simply holding it against his body felt like parched earth receiving rain; his already maximum vitality seemed to push beyond its constraints, becoming even more potent.
