My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 355: Fate Watchers

The space cube was a relic Ethan had discovered within the third-dimensional layer of the Origin Dimension.
After a short period, the artifact acknowledged him as its master.
Its capabilities seemed limited to storage, though its internal capacity was vast enough to hold trillions of souls.
Ethan initially believed the item wouldn't be particularly useful to him.
Because of this, he hadn't bothered to investigate its true origins or history.
However, reflecting on it now, he realized this treasure must possess a truly illustrious background.
"Hey Nini, is it possible for you to grow even more powerful?" Ethan inquired with curiosity.
"Yes master. I am just 1 percent fixed till now and that number is also not sure. I think I am missing a major part of myself."
"Is that so? Then what do you need to become powerful?"
"Master, I need world source energy," Nini replied slowly.
"World source energy? Isn’t it the energy that runs the entire world? If I want to collect it, I’ll have to destroy them, right?" Ethan asked, feeling conflicted about the requirement.
"Master, that is certainly a way, but that is not the only way. I have awakened a memory, where there is a way to get source energy. That is to protect worlds from anomalies and take a certain amount of source energy as payment."
Ethan’s gaze brightened at once. This path resonated with his principles, as he could never bring himself to annihilate a world for personal gain.
"But how do I know which world would need help?" Ethan’s excitement quickly faded as he considered the logistics.
"Master, that I don’t know. Maybe you will have to travel to different worlds to find out this type of world. If you find one, you can just contact its will if it is willing to hire you," Nini suggested to him.
"Hmm, not a bad idea. Let’s build an organisation. I’ll try to spread its name and will also leave ways to contact me. I want to create a guild for these poor worlds, so that they could tell their problems to me and I can charge them accordingly," Ethan planned, a smile forming on his face.
[Master, I suggest you stay in this time field from now on and let your clones do the job.]
Yumiko offered her advice.
Ethan had finally found a secondary objective to pursue alongside his quest for power.
"I was also thinking about it."
With a casual motion of his hand, Ethan summoned a magnificent throne. He then transformed the desolate island into a lush paradise, covering it with vibrant flora, exotic plants, fluttering butterflies, singing birds, and gentle creatures.
In an instant, the small island had become a sanctuary.
Surveying his handiwork, Ethan gave a satisfied nod.
He then manifested millions of clones, each imbued with 10 percent of his total strength. This was the maximum power threshold he could grant to a duplicate.
Even so, it was more than sufficient, as 10 percent of his Cultivation was equivalent to the might of an 11th-dimensional entity.
Just as he prepared to deploy them, an intense premonition of danger washed over him.
He sensed that if his clones exited this universe in such a blatant manner, he would draw the gaze of existences far beyond his imagination.
"So I can’t go outside like this? Then I’ll just use teleportation. But still what was that deathly feeling just now?" Cold sweat beaded on Ethan's forehead from the sheer pressure of the sensation.
With a thought, he fashioned a specialized tool designed to measure the power ceiling of any given world.
Should a world’s limit exceed Ethan’s own strength, he would avoid it. He reasoned that such places likely housed beings stronger than himself, and even if they faced anomalies, they wouldn't seek his assistance.
He equipped every clone with one of these devices and initiated their mass teleportation.
They set off across the endless void of dark space to seek out various realms.
If they encountered a world where the power readings were lower than his own, they would investigate. If aid was required, they would provide it while promoting the name of his new organization: "Fate Watchers."
One by one, the clones flickered out of existence, beginning their search for worlds in distress.
Ragnarok soon arrived on the island.
"Young master, the egg is hatched and this little thing came out from there."
Ethan focused on the orb of light held in Ragnarok’s grasp.
A small creature was trapped within, struggling violently to break free, though its attempts were entirely in vain.
With a wave of Ethan's hand, the sphere drifted toward him.
The hatchling resembled a golden-horned cosmic behemoth from "Swallowed Star," yet its body was draped in absolute darkness.
Notably, a swirling black hole pulsed within its chest.
It was a terrifying sight to behold.
"This thing is magnificent."
Ethan took an immediate liking to the creature and felt the urge to pet it. He restrained himself, however, noticing that among its intricate skin patterns, one specific mark seemed out of alignment with the rest.
That particular mark was linked to a different entity and served as the core pattern of the beast.
"It is probably the pattern of its creator. I’ll pet it after I gain a little power of manipulation of patterns in the 5th dimensional realm," Ethan mused silently.
He calculated that refining 0.1 percent of his source of existence would take five months.
This meant that in fifty months, he would successfully break through to the 5th-dimensional realm. At that level, he would gain the power to slightly alter these fundamental patterns.
For instance, if an entity possessed a pattern for bravery, Ethan could manipulate it to make them more courageous or more cowardly—provided they were weaker than him.
Ethan looked forward to reaching that milestone.
Within this accelerated time field, fifty months passed as quickly as five, meaning his breakthrough was only five months away.
Ethan shut his eyes and began a new cycle of the Infinite Ascension Sutra.
.....
Far away, one of Ethan’s clones traversed the vacuum of space. The distances between worlds spanned countless light-years.
Despite this, his incredible power allowed him to move at speeds beyond comprehension.
The clones preferred to use teleportation to save time.
They would first expand their ultimate domain to scan the surrounding area. If the scan came up empty, they would teleport beyond the domain's edge and repeat the process.
One specific clone eventually located a minor world that met his criteria, showing an energy signature lower than his own.
He approached the world and released a subtle pulse of his aura.
"Will of the world, do you need my help with something?" he asked directly.
He knew that without a conscious will, there would be no one to pay his fee.
"Sir, please, I need your help. I asked for help from many passing supreme beings, but no one was willing to help me," a feminine voice resonated from the world.
"Okay, before I hear your problem, I’ll take payment with source energy. If you still want my help, then tell me your problem. If not, there is no room for negotiations."
The world's will fell silent for a moment. Ethan expected a rejection, as source energy represented the very life force of a world.
Just as Ethan was about to depart with a sigh, the voice spoke again.
"Alright sir. I am willing. May I ask how much do you want?" the will asked timidly.
"10 strands."
Upon hearing the price, the will let out a sigh of relief.
"Alright sir, I am willing. Will you listen now?"
"Okay then. Tell me."
The will began her explanation. After an hour had passed, she concluded her tale.
This was a magic-based world divided into three distinct layers.
There was the mortal realm, the higher realm, and the death realm.
Inhabitants were born with specific magic affinities and gradually increased their power.
Once a person reached the 5th-dimensional level, they could ascend to the higher realm, which shared its status with the death realm.
However, several millennia ago, the world's mana suddenly turned toxic. To survive, the world had to suppress its own mana to the point of near-exhaustion.
The source of this contamination remained a mystery.
Due to the suppression of mana, the number of people able to become magus had dwindled to almost nothing, and the world could no longer hold back the poison.
"Yumiko, can source energy make me stronger quickly?"
[Yes master it can. In fact, it is the fastest way to become powerful. Source energy helps people to comprehend source of existence faster hundreds of times.]
"Then maybe some people are trying to destroy this world to absorb the energy?"
[That is a possibility.]
"If that is the case, maybe they couldn’t destroy worlds publicly," Ethan hypothesized regarding the situation.
Then again, the cause could be something else entirely.
"I am entering." With that declaration, he descended into the world.
He chose to arrive in the mortal realm first.
His priority was to determine if there were any clandestine organizations operating here that the world's will wasn't aware of.
....
Ethan materialized on a mountain peak. He scanned the surrounding landscape and spotted a small village nestled at the base of the slope.
Ethan set off to speak with the locals.
The world's will had grown incredibly frail, as all its strength was being diverted to contain the toxic mana. Consequently, it lacked any recent information regarding the state of its own inhabitants.
