My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 327: Confronting the president

Ethan looked at Rose and said, "You all leave. I have something to do."

Before anyone could say anything, he ran out of the throne room.

Rose was worried for him, but the ability he had just shown made her stop herself from asking amy questions. She trusted his strength more than her worry.

Ethan left the throne room because he wanted to resurrect everyone who had died. They were all young people with great potential, and since he had the power to bring them back, he couldn’t leave them behind.

Outside, everyone was staring at the entrance.

Slowly, the Aurelion family members stepped out of the gate. Everyone inside the dungeon moved aside to let them through since Ethan was part of that group. Nobody dared to argue about it.

Alexander scanned the crowd with a smile, relieved to see everyone alive, including Alex.

But his smile froze the moment he realized Ethan wasn’t among them. Ethan suddenly appeared in front of them and looked at Rose.

"Where is Ethan?"

Before Rose could answer, Alex replied, "Brother Ethan said he has something to do inside the dungeon and stayed behind."

"Are you crazy? How could you leave him inside?" Alexander roared at them, even at Rose.

Elindros clenched his fists in excitement. He had already told everyone in his family that whoever killed Ethan inside the dungeon would become the sole heir of the Silvera family. He was certain one of his family hunters would take care of Ethan.

He was only worried the Aurelion family would retaliate afterward, that wouldn’t matter. The president was present here.

Rose suddenly started crying. This was the first time Alexander scolded her like that, but that wasn’t why she cried. She cried because a horrible thought hit her. What if Ethan never came out?

The idea hollowed her heart like a deep abyss. The pain was sharp, and she couldn’t hold back her tears.

Alexander panicked when he saw his precious granddaughter was crying. He wanted to say something comforting, but Rose spoke first.

"Grandpa, please let me go inside and look for him."

She was about to run toward the dungeon when she saw the Silvera hunters walking out, including Edward. That made her breathe a little easier.

If the Silvera family had come out, Ethan wasn’t in immediate danger.

"Young miss, young master Ethan said he had something to do inside the dungeon. With the ability he showed, do you think he needs our help?" Freya whispered beside her.

Only then did Rose calm down.

The other families were relieved when they saw that everyone from the Aurelion family came out safely. That meant the dungeon shouldn’t have been that dangerous.

But once the rest of the hunters came out and their numbers were half or less, their relief turned into dread.

Everyone’s face turned pale.

Fifty members from the five super families were missing. Only the Aurelions were intact, except one, and that one was still alive inside. There had to be an explanation.

Before anyone could say anything, Edward pointed at the Aurelions. Now that his ancestor was outside, he felt no fear.

"Ancestor, that guy named Ethan had a treasure that could kill all the monsters from the beginning, but he didn’t use it. That’s why fifty of us died."

A murderous aura burst out from every guardian there. Their killing intent filled the air after hearing the accusation.

"Shut up, Edward, you bastard. Don’t speak nonsense about young master Ethan. If not for him, we would all be dead," William shouted.

Everyone nodded. Only then did the guardians pull back their killing intent.

President Xavier had been listening silently the whole time. He walked up to William and asked calmly, "Tell me what really happened."

William took a deep breath and explained everything.

The more he spoke, the drier everyone’s throats became.

"Wait, you’re saying that the woman in the throne room had a stronger presence than me? Are you sure? If that was true, none of you would have survived," Xavier asked, confused.

"Sir, I was getting to that part. When we all thought we were dead, young master Ethan stepped in. I don’t know how, but all those monsters froze in place, even that woman. So we killed them easily. In the end, young master Ethan killed the woman himself with Miss Rose’s sword. Before we left, he said he had something to do and ran back."

Once William finished, the entire place fell silent.

Every guardian glanced at their family members to confirm it. Everyone nodded except Edward.

"Ancestor, I’m sure that bastard used some treasure. When he slapped that woman, I didn’t feel any power from him. It was obvious he was using something to freeze the monsters and hide his presence.

Just think about it. If he hands over the treasure, then deaths inside the dungeon would be almost zero in the future."

Elindros’s eyes lit up. The brat was sharp.

Even Xavier had an unreadable expression. If this was true, then...

Alexander felt anxious. If the Silvera boy was right, then things looked bad. He glanced at the president and knew they wouldn’t be allowed to leave unless Ethan handed over the treasure.

A treasure that could freeze an SSS+ monster and hide the user’s presence was enough to spark a world war.

He rubbed his temples. He would have to convince Ethan to hand it over, or none of them would be able to leave safely.

Elindros looked proud.

"You did well. From today on, you will be the only heir of the Silvera family."

"Thank you, ancestor."

Even William felt Edward might be right, but he wouldn’t turn against Ethan no matter what.

"Ancestor, young master Ethan helped us. Can we help the Aurelions at least?" William asked.

The Windsor ancestor looked into the president’s eyes and sighed. If the president wanted to act, nobody could stop him. He was the strongest man in the world.

Everyone kept their eyes on the entrance, waiting for Ethan to appear.

Someone finally stepped out. Everyone tensed, ready to block the person if they tried to run.

But the one who came out wasn’t Ethan. It was one of the missing Silvera members.

"How is this possible? That woman said she killed all fifty," everyone muttered, shocked.

Then more and more of the missing returned.

Ethan had erased their memories of being killed. Now they remembered being captured by monsters in some cave.

They ran to their families and repeated the same story.

Now no one could argue. No one had lied. The monster must have tricked them.

At last, the one everyone waited for walked out as the dungeon collapsed behind him.

Ethan took a single look at everyone and instantly understood what was going on.

Greed was humanity’s eternal flaw. Every crime stemmed from it.

Still, he walked toward the Aurelion family as if he saw nothing.

Xavier still hadn’t acted. He was giving Alexander a chance to convince Ethan to hand over the treasure. He wasn’t an unreasonable man, but the treasure was too valuable.

Rose’s eyes were filled with tears. She understood how serious this had become.

Alexander looked at Ethan.

"Ethan, hand over the treasure to the president. He’s the only person qualified to use it. He fights the highest rank dungeons to protect the world," he said with sadness.

Rose wanted to say so many things but couldn’t. She didn’t have that relationship with Ethan yet.

Alex sighed in his heart.

"Brother Ethan. You have no strength yet you possess such a treasure. It brought disaster to you. I hope you understand what you should do."

"But ancestor, I don’t have any treasure," Ethan replied with a confused look.

Sigh.

Sigh.

Sigh.

"Hahaha. That bastard just signed his death order," Elindros whispered.

Alexander’s face turned pale.

"Boy, everyone’s life is at stake. Think carefully."

Ethan finally looked at the president and walked up to him.

"Are you the one stopping us from leaving because you think I have some treasure?" he asked directly.

Alex felt impressed. This man didn’t show a single trace of fear.

Xavier nodded calmly.

"Since you know, hand it over. I won’t make it difficult for you. After all you have helped clearing the dungeon."

Ethan smiled lightly.

"What a good deal. I clear the dungeon, and then I hand over my treasure to you. Is it because I’m weak? Can the strong do whatever they want? If you kill someone for treasure, how are you any different from the monsters inside?"

Ethan spoke like a bullied protagonist. In fact, he was enjoying the moment. He never faced real pressure since the system made his journey smooth. Now he was getting bullied, and he found it fun.

"We are done," Alexander sighed.

"They are done," the others thought.

"Hahaha, that overconfidence will destroy you," Elindros said.

"You are correct. The strong take whatever they want. And you can’t do anything because you are weak," Xavier said calmly.

Ethan nodded.

"Very well then."
