MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 892: Roses And Lotuses

Anthony stepped through the shimmering portal, and as he emerged on the other side, his vision was instantly flooded with color, light, and the weight of reality. The transition was fleeting but pleasant, feeling as if the universe had momentarily dissolved before restructuring itself around his form. One by one, his companions followed his lead, stepping out and taking their places behind him. They found themselves standing in a massive chamber located deep within a structure that resembled a royal castle.
The walls reached high toward the ceiling, elegantly crafted with ancient, regal engravings. Pillars that practically radiated wealth supported the vaulted arches above. Despite the sheer magnificence of the architecture, it remained, quite simply, just another room.
“Bruh,” Lucian complained immediately, his voice echoing through the vast space, “I get that you’re looking for your girlfriend, but you could’ve at least opened a portal to a place where we could actually see something. This is our very first visit to the Celestial Planet, your home world. You can’t just dump us in a room. We’ve spent way too much time in rooms already.”
His irritation was obvious, though it masked a deeper sense of letdown. His secret hope of copying the unique abilities of various Celestial race members had evaporated the moment they arrived in such a secluded spot. To him, this felt like a squandered chance.
“I second that,” Aura Nova added right away. She lived for exploration. Being a passionate reader, she thrived on discovering new lands, tasting exotic foods, and immersing herself in foreign cultures. She had been quietly excited to see the Celestial Planet, but being brought straight into a room—a damn room—caused her enthusiasm to vanish in an instant.
Hearing their gripes, Aaaninja merely shook his head and replied with a calm tone, “There is nothing to explore. The same things that exist on your planets exist here as well. Nothing special.” He let out a soft sigh, sounding as if the conversation had already drained his energy.
“I actually have a question,” Anthony spoke up. “I understand that planets vary in scale, but how does the entire Celestial race fit onto a single world? Isn’t that mathematically impossible?” The concept had always bothered him. Cramming an entire species onto one planet seemed absurd; wouldn't the world eventually expand and collapse under the pressure? He wondered how other top races handled this as well.
Aaaninja paused at Anthony’s inquiry before beginning his explanation. “While it is referred to as a planet, it isn't a planet in the traditional sense. Just as the humans in our galaxy couldn't possibly fit on one world, the same is true for us and the other races.” After a brief silence, he continued, “We possess our own solar system, one of our own making. Every planet in that system is inhabited solely by the Celestial race... excluding the typical lifeforms like beasts and monsters, of course.” He made a slight gesture. “The entire solar system is then tucked away within a sealed, separate plane of existence. That is how the Celestial race and other top races manage their space and population.”
“I see,” Anthony whispered to himself.
With a flick of his will, Anthony expanded his Sense Dome. He usually restricted its range to a few meters or a kilometer when traveling with friends, but this time, he allowed it to unfurl much further, spreading out with silent grace. Through this perception, he confirmed Aaaninja’s words. It wasn't that he lacked trust; Anthony simply preferred to verify things with his own eyes.
After observing the mechanics of the sealed plane, Anthony’s senses drifted toward Zachary and Nyxss, the parents of Aaaninja. They were currently resting in a pool of milky, white liquid, their forms submerged as the fluid worked to mend the damage to their very essence.
‘Don’t they have healers or health potions?’ Anthony wondered. He immediately dismissed the thought. Not every healer possessed the terrifying power of his grandmother, Irene, who could heal planetary-tier beings and return them to their peak in a single day as if it were nothing. With that, Anthony pulled back his Sense Dome, shrinking it to a small radius around him. He had no desire to spy on others.
The group moved toward the exit. As soon as Aaaninja pushed open the chamber door, a man waiting outside dropped to his knees instantly.
“Young Master, you have returned...” the man said, his voice thick with relief. He was Aaaninja’s personal guard, a loyal servant who had been by his side since birth and had witnessed Aaaninja’s first clash with a Ten-Winged Angel.
“You can stop worrying,” Aaaninja said softly, placing a reassuring hand on the man’s shoulder. “You know those Angels are only embarking on a suicide mission.” The guard nodded in silence. Even though he was well aware of Aaaninja’s strength, he couldn't simply turn off his concern.
They bypassed him and continued down the corridor. No one in the group teased Aaaninja for the “Young Master” title. After all, they were all essentially Young Masters themselves, with the exception of Aura Nova—though even as an orphan, she held a similar status.
After navigating several turns through the castle’s halls, they stopped before another door. Aaaninja gave a polite knock before entering. The room was filled with roses and lotuses of every imaginable variety, their sweet scent permeating the air. Sitting at a table was Altheria. She looked perfectly at ease, casually holding a glass of red wine.
Her gaze shifted toward the entrance. When she saw Aaaninja, a warm smile spread across her face. “You’re back,” she said, her voice dripping with affection.
Aaaninja smiled back like a man completely lost in love. “I am,” he answered. He walked over and kissed her deeply. The others stayed back at the doorway, watching as Aaaninja suddenly became uncharacteristically romantic and affectionate.
Unlike the guard who had been consumed by worry, Altheria hadn't been concerned at all. It wasn't a lack of love; she simply understood the sheer magnitude of his power. She had known how strong he was long before they even started dating. If Vega had been in her shoes, she would have reacted exactly the same way.
Aaaninja laid out the group's plans to Altheria. She listened in silence, then shook her head with an amused smile, surprised by his ability to jump between Timelines—a power she hadn't known he possessed. She wasn't foolish enough to think she knew every one of his secrets; to her, he was the type of man who could invent a new ability every single day.
She rose from her chair and spoke calmly. “Let’s go then.” With that, the group prepared to depart.
