Living In Another World With A Farm Chapter 8504: The heavenly Tribulation (1)

Previously on Living In Another World With A Farm...
Zhao Hai completes the integration of the nine-word mantra into his Dharma form, forming golden beads that cycle power through his body and enhance his cultivation to the initial success stage of the Golden Lotus Nine Changes Sutra. He absorbs death energy infused with vitality, activating his giant bloodline and transforming his Dharma form into a colossal Buddha capable of infinite strength. After replenishing his solid magic power, he awakens to reassure the concerned Laura and her companions, requesting they design a new advanced ship before exiting the space to find his upgraded blood lotus expanded into a small world.

Zhao Hai refrained from delving deeply into the transformations of the blood lotus at that juncture. He understood well that this was not the appropriate moment for such pursuits. Already, he could sense the heavenly Tribulation gathering beyond the blood lotus. United as one with him, the blood lotus now, with him manifesting within it and devoid of the spatial laws' safeguard, failed to shield against the heavenly laws of this ordeal. Consequently, the heavenly laws detected the shift in Zhao Hai's power level right away, and the heavenly Tribulation began to form.

Right then, all individuals within the secret realm became aware of the heavenly Tribulation's approach. Their morale surged. They recognized this as a sign that Zhao Hai had advanced to an Island Lord expert. Confidence filled them that Zhao Hai would surely overcome the heavenly Tribulation. After all, even Chang Jun and his companions had successfully passed their heavenly Tribulations, so Zhao Hai and the rest could certainly do the same. Thus, they were convinced of Zhao Hai's success in transcending the heavenly Tribulation.

Gradually, the blood lotus ascended from the earth and expanded in size. Zhao Hai's form materialized atop the blood lotus. Positioned on the lotus, he gazed upward at the ominous clouds overhead with serene composure. Subsequently, bolts of lightning emerged from the gloomy clouds and descended upon him. Zhao Hai offered no resistance, permitting the lightning to strike his physique. Yet, his body appeared capable of devouring the lightning. Upon impact, the bolts vanished rapidly. Merely faint electric flickers lingered on his skin's exterior, fading away gradually. In this manner, the nine stages of the lightning tribulation were entirely absorbed by Zhao Hai.

Not the yin wind, yet Zhao Hai remained stationary. The yin wind showed no effect on him whatsoever. Indeed, he ultimately seemed to draw the yin wind into himself. The devil fire followed suit. It scorched briefly across his body's surface before being taken in. It was as though his physique had turned into a voracious void, pulling all into its depths. This sight astonished the onlookers, particularly Chang Jun and the fellow Island Lord-level powerhouses. Their shock deepened. They had never imagined such an occurrence. It defied belief. One must remember that during their own ascensions to Island Lord status, the heavenly Tribulation posed grave peril. Yet here, Zhao Hai was absorbing the heavenly Tribulation entirely. Utterly inconceivable.

Yet the ordeal persisted. Just as all assumed the Tribulation had concluded, a barrage of lightning bolts abruptly targeted Zhao Hai. He found himself taken aback. He hadn't anticipated additional tribulations, but concern eluded him. Given his body's current robustness, even without his Dharma to ingest the energy, the Tribulation's force posed no threat. Curiosity gnawed at him, however, regarding why his tribulation diverged from the norm. It appeared far more extensive than typical.

All at once, a realization struck Zhao Hai. He recalled the nine truth pearls formed during his attainment of Island Lord expertise. Might each of those nine truth pearls represent a God core? Should that hold true, would it imply enduring nine sets of three-nine minor heavenly tribulations?

This notion prompted a wry smile from Zhao Hai. If his speculation proved accurate, matters would grow quite intense. Enduring nine instances of the three-nine minor heavenly tribulations—likely no one had ever faced such during their rise to Island Lord level. Nevertheless, this signified his prowess surpassing that of ordinary Island Lord experts by a wide margin.

Precisely as Zhao Hai had surmised, he underwent nine rounds of three-nine minor heavenly tribulations. Though he assimilated the energy from each, the repeated tribulations terrified those in the secret realm. Bewilderment gripped them; they couldn't fathom the cause of so many heavenly tribulations accompanying Zhao Hai's breakthrough to Island Lord. Anxiety mounted, with fears it stemmed from the breakthrough occurring inside the secret realm. If so, none would dare attempt a breakthrough there henceforth. Lacking Zhao Hai's capabilities, they couldn't endure multiple three-nine minor heavenly tribulations.

Hu! Zhao Hai exhaled deeply. He had at last drawn the final trace of demonic fire into his form, converting it fully into his personal energy. Thus concluded his passage through the nine three-nine minor heavenly tribulations. In that instant, a profound sensation arose within him. He could now claim his personal Island, one spanning ninefold the size of standard ones. A mere designation of location sufficed for his Island to manifest there.

Simultaneously, Zhao Hai discerned he possessed the option to delay his Island's emergence. He could even opt against it altogether. Control lay with him to summon or withhold his Island. As long as his Island Lord strength endured, manifestation remained possible at any juncture. Naturally, others would summon their Island promptly upon achieving Island Lord status, gaining access to faith power that greatly aided strength progression. Hence, no Island Lord expert ever refrained from manifesting their Island after ascension.

Zhao Hai, however, elected against summoning his Island. He required none presently, for an Island would render him a prime target, an enormous one at that. Such visibility clashed directly with his forthcoming strategic intentions, compelling his choice to keep it concealed.

Absence of his Island didn't bar Zhao Hai from harnessing faith power. Previously, though accessible, the faith power felt indistinct to him. Now, its presence registered with crystal clarity. He perceived the vast, potent faith power coursing through him. Formerly, only a fraction merged into his being, while the bulk merely orbited him, unusable.

But circumstances had shifted. Zhao Hai now distinctly perceived the faith power's essence. He could wield it effectively. Moreover, several utilization methods for faith power surfaced directly in his consciousness. No deliberation proved necessary.

Indeed, faith power lent itself to multiple applications: offense, protection, augmentation, and practice. In essence, cultivators could employ faith power across every facet. Yet, typical cultivators possessed far less than Zhao Hai. Thus, they focused on a single use. Defense or augmentation claimed the majority, with some opting for practice. Offensive applications remained rarest.

Infusing faith power into strikes amplified their potency immensely. Upon entering a foe's body, it acted like a insidious serpent, ravaging internals relentlessly. Expulsion proved exceedingly arduous, rendering such assaults formidable.

Employed defensively, faith power fortified barriers substantially. An equivalent strike lacking faith power might shatter one's array or shield. With faith power integrated, breaching became a herculean task. Faith power multiplied defensive resilience severalfold, a remarkable boon. Given cultivators' fierce regard for survival, most channeled faith power toward protection.

Augmentation represented yet another faith power application, a subtler one, yet widely adopted—more so than offense. Why? Its unique benefits proved invaluable to cultivators.

Within the blood sea realm, numerous formidable figures excelled in divination arts. They foresaw heavenly secrets, destinies, and forthcoming events. Though not infallible, their insights held great value. Suppose an adversary lurked unknown; enlisting a diviner could yield a broad direction or zone. Such forecasts typically rang true, aiding the hunt immensely. However, should the target wield faith power for augmentation, divination utterly failed. Faith power disrupted the arts, rendering location impossible.

Beyond shielding from divination, faith power aided technique mastery too. Consider a potent yet arcane cultivation method, resistant to grasp. Applying faith power then boosted comprehension odds dramatically. This augmentative role of faith power proved exceptionally potent.

Regarding direct cultivation use, few pursued it. Attaining faith power marked one as an Island Lord, whose advancement hinged on insight. Squandering faith power on mere cultivation seemed unwise. Still, deploying it during pivotal breakthroughs eased realm ascension. Hence, many Island Lords did so.

One caveat persisted: faith power served solely as enhancement or boon, never standalone assault. Insufficient base attack meant even faith-infused spells couldn't reach the foe—rendering the infusion pointless. This explained faith power's scarcity in offense; strikes didn't always land, wasting the addition otherwise.

Zhao Hai's circumstances diverged somewhat. His faith power reserves were immense, applicable universally. One might say his supply knew no bounds. Ignorance had previously hindered use; now, with knowledge and sensation, future deployment came naturally. Crucially, Zhao Hai grasped that faith power mastery centered on the God core. Only surpassing the God core enabled control. Absent it, few could harness faith power. His own prior fusion of faith power into transcendence energy stood as a rare anomaly.
