Immortality Through Array Formations Chapter 2052 Chapter 980: Dream Dragon (Part 2)

Previously on Immortality Through Array Formations...
Mo Hua finds himself transported to the grand Great Wilderness Dragon Hall, a dreamlike realm where a majestic Dragon Emperor presides over a court of dragon-transformed nobles. Despite the Emperor's imposing presence and demands for subservience, Mo Hua refuses to kneel, sparking a tense confrontation. When a dragon general attacks him for his perceived insolence, Mo Hua effortlessly overpowers the warrior with his formidable Divine Thought. While the Dragon Emperor is intrigued by the youth's power, he maintains that the Great Wilderness legacy is reserved strictly for those of royal bloodlines.

A frown appeared on Mo Hua's face.

If he lacked the Bloodline of the Great Wilderness, what was the point of all this talk?

"However," the Dragon Emperor shifted his tone, "the inheritance of the Great Wilderness is not limited solely to the royal bloodline."

"The nobility has their own distinct inheritance."

"The royals possess their royal inheritance."

"And even the commoners have an inheritance of their own..."

Mo Hua nodded as realization dawned on him. "So, you're implying that as a 'commoner,' I am eligible to learn the commoner's version of the Great Wilderness inheritance?"

"Precisely." The Dragon Emperor gave a nod of confirmation.

The inheritance of the Great Wilderness commoners...

Mo Hua reflected on this internally.

The distinction between commoners and royalty meant nothing to him.

Whether it be the Dao of Heaven and Earth or various Taoist Skills, they might differ in Grade or be associated with different social standings; yet, regardless of whether they are perceived as high or low, strong or weak, they all constitute the "Great Dao."

As long as a spell point is functional, effective, and serves a purpose, it is more than enough.

There was no reason to chase after something just because it appeared "noble and grand."

Furthermore, Mo Hua felt a spark of curiosity regarding what the commoner's inheritance of the Great Wilderness actually entailed...

As Mo Hua remained lost in thought, the Dragon Emperor spoke down from his high position:

"Since your Bloodline is incompatible, the royal inheritance cannot be granted to you. However, as for the commoner's inheritance, I, the emperor, can 'bestow' it upon you."

Mo Hua nodded, replying, "Then go ahead and bestow it."

Although the term used was "bestow," his voice carried the weight of a command.

Suffocating his irritation, the Dragon Emperor spoke in a voice that resonated like a massive bell:

"Then get on your knees."

Mo Hua’s brow furrowed. "Why must I kneel again?"

The Dragon Emperor replied with great solemnity: "This is the required ritual for the Great Wilderness inheritance. You are required to kneel, to submit to the Great Wilderness and the Dragon Vein. Only after that can I bestow the inheritance upon you."

Mo Hua let out a cold sneer. "In that case, forget it. I don't want it."

In this life, one only kneels to the heavens, the earth, and one's parents; did a mere royal of the Great Wilderness truly think they deserved his bow?

Losing the inheritance of the Great Wilderness was no great tragedy.

The Dragon Emperor’s expression darkened instantly. "You refuse it?"

Mo Hua nodded firmly. "That's right, I don't want it." He then added, "Send me back."

His time was far too valuable; he needed to return to his research on Array formations.

If the Great Wilderness refused to provide these inheritances, he would simply figure it out on his own and cultivate a dragon through his own efforts.

The Dragon Emperor remained motionless and silent for a moment before shaking his head:

"That is impossible. You are required to learn this inheritance!"

Detecting a shift in the atmosphere, Mo Hua’s gaze grew hostile. "What exactly do you mean by that?"

The Dragon Emperor’s eyes widened as his aura underwent a sudden transformation. Extending his azure-black claws, which shimmered with a deadly light, he pointed at Mo Hua with crushing pressure and roared:

"Kneel!"

Mo Hua laughed coldly, remaining unbothered, but his expression shifted slightly a moment later.

An immense, unstoppable force suddenly plunged down from the void.

A powerful pressure bore down on him, while a strange energy seeped into his knees, trying to force him to the ground.

"What is this?!"

Mo Hua was internally shocked.

He sensed a power similar to a Law saturating the Dragon Hall.

The majesty of the Great Wilderness dragon, merged with the weight of imperial authority, was insidiously attacking his Divine Thought. It was attempting to plant a seed of "submission" and force his body to kneel.

Mo Hua quickly grasped the underlying Law of causality at play.

The moment he knelt, a trace of servitude would be etched into his Divine Soul.

Once servitude took root in the mind, it would grow and weave itself into his consciousness until it became a habit.

Eventually, he would be conditioned into a "slave" to the royal power and dragon majesty of the Great Wilderness, submitting of his own free will.

This power, which used Divine Thought as its conduit, was a high-tier manifestation of "Law."

For a brief second, even Mo Hua felt the sensation was irresistible; his knees buckled slightly as if he were about to sink down.

Mo Hua sneered inwardly and immediately triggered his Origin of Dao to block the intrusion of this "dragon's majesty."

At the same time, he steadied his mind, utilizing meditation and his natural Taoist Skill to crush the feeling of servitude born from the royal pressure.

Despite the mountain-like weight pressing on him, Mo Hua stood perfectly still.

The Dragon Emperor was stunned by this sight. Then, a sharp light flickered in his dragon eyes, radiating the ultimate aura of a supreme ruler.

He spoke with measured slowness, each word sounding like the tolling of a great bell.

Every syllable was saturated with royal authority and reinforced by Bloodline Power.

"You destroyed this emperor's dragon general. Yet, in my magnanimity, I have pardoned you and even intended to raise your status by inducting you into the Imperial Guard."

"This is a reward for you, a blessing I have bestowed."

"You ought to kneel, bow with devotion, and show gratitude for the emperor's great mercy."

His words were laced with a strange, seductive charm.

Yet Mo Hua remained upright, his eyes filled with indifference.

Displeasure flashed in the Dragon Emperor’s eyes as he continued:

"This is the grace the emperor grants you."

"You should count yourself lucky and honored. You should prostrate yourself and kneel, feeling the depth of the emperor's vast mercy."

"Only then will the emperor grant you the inheritance of the Great Wilderness."

"You come from a lowly background, born to ordinary parents, inheriting nothing but a common Bloodline from them."

"Only through the emperor's grace can you cast off your origins, transform yourself, and change your destiny..."

...

Mo Hua’s face went cold in an instant. His eyes flashed with a frigid light as he pointed directly at the Dragon Emperor’s nose and snapped: "You old lizard, how dare you?"

"Who do you think you are? How dare you speak of my parents in such a way?"

The Dragon Emperor was paralyzed with shock, his face reflecting pure disbelief.

Having occupied the throne and been worshipped by the masses for so long, no one had ever dared to speak such profanity or utter such treasonous words to his face!

It was an unthinkable insult!

The Dragon Emperor lost his dignified composure; his eyes bulged with fury, and his dragon scales began to bristle.

But Mo Hua was just as livid.

"You old piece of trash, you don't know your place!"

He stopped holding back and fully unleashed his Divine Thought of Dao transformation. His entire form suddenly erupted in a brilliant, blinding golden light.
