"I have a question I'd like to ask you two friends, if I may?" I inquired.

"Please, go right ahead," Yu Jian answered with politeness.

Even though Lu Qing’s origins were shrouded in mystery, Yu Jian sensed no malice from him at the moment.

Furthermore, since Lu Qing was at odds with Mo Tushan, Yu Jian was open to the idea of forming an alliance.

"How long have you been stationed here at the seventh level? Have you explored the other routes, and do you happen to know which trial path Mo Tushan chose or what level he has reached?"

After a pause, he replied, "My junior sister Qing Xii and I have been stuck at this seventh level for nearly three years, so we haven't ventured through the other passages. As for Mo Tushan, he originally entered the Physical Body Trial path, but his current level is unknown to us."

Back on the fifth level, Mo Tushan had launched an ambush, inflicting significant injuries upon Yu Jian.

Since that encounter, however, the man seemed to have vanished, and he hadn't returned to cause further trouble.

Standing beside him, Qing Xii’s mouth hung slightly open as she stared at Lu Qing with total disbelief.

"Yes, I intend to go there and settle some old scores with Mo Tushan," Lu Qing admitted without hesitation.

"Friend, I don't mean to doubt your capabilities, but Mo Tushan is a dangerous opponent. I urge you to reconsider," Yu Jian cautioned.

"I appreciate your concern, but even if I cannot defeat Mo Tushan, I am confident in my ability to survive."

With a final nod of gratitude, Lu Qing stepped into the transmission array.

In an instant, the light flared, and his form vanished as he was transported toward the Physical Body passage.

"Does this Five Tribulation Primordial Spirit truly intend to pick a fight with Mo Tushan?"

Seeing Lu Qing actually depart for the Physical Body passage, Qing Xii finally let out a soft exclamation.

Her eyes were filled with pure bewilderment.

Black Bull looked at the light screen and immediately grew anxious.

The two figures beside him also looked surprised.

Facing three elite experts, Lu Qing remained composed and spoke with a chilling tone.

Suddenly, his expression shifted, and he leaped to the side.

Immediately after, the transmission array glowed again, and Yu Jian and Qing Xii stepped out.

"You two?"

Seeing the newcomers, Mo Tushan was surprised once more, but then a look of understanding crossed his face.

"I see. This brat has you two backing him. No wonder he’s so arrogant. What’s this? Are you cowards finally deciding to play the hero?"

"Mo Tushan, the Peach Demoness, and Hei Ming?"

Yu Jian and Qing Xii were horrified as they identified the figures across from them.

Aside from Mo Tushan, the other two were the Peach Fairy from the Pavilion of the Enchanting Immortal and Hei Ming from the Netherworld Palace.

It was unexpected that they had not only reached the seventh level but had also formed a group.

"This is bad!" Qing Xii felt a wave of dread.

Together, she and Yu Jian could have handled Mo Tushan alone.

But with these three demonic experts allied, they were now at a severe disadvantage.

"Brother Yu Jian, it has been a long time," Hei Ming greeted him.

He had used his Superpower to learn about Yu Jian and knew he was a principled Sword Cultivator.

He hadn't expected the man to suggest a retreat now.

But since he had finally cornered Mo Tushan, how could he possibly leave?

Giving Yu Jian a small shake of his head, Lu Qing stepped forward.

"Demon child of the Black and White Temple, I have come here for one reason: to kill you. Step forward and meet your end."

As those words left his lips, the expressions of everyone present changed instantly.
