I Can See Through All Things' Information Chapter 1227 - 753: Spatial Inheritance, Even the Immortal Palace Has Run Out of Supplies (Part 2)

Lu Qing’s subsequent remark, however, once again left the group in a state of shock.
"But Elder, the elixirs you previously bestowed upon me have been nearly exhausted by this junior. Do you have any more in your possession? I am willing to trade treasures for them."
"What was that? You have already refined every elixir we gave you?"
The three Elders were visibly stunned by this revelation.
Their immediate instinct was to deny the possibility of such a feat.
It was common knowledge that the medicinal pills they had provided were of such high quality that even a peerless genius at the Nine Tribulations Primordial Spirit level would be unable to fully absorb them in such a brief period.
Setting aside the sheer volume of Qi, the mere accumulation of pill poison would be more than a typical Primordial Spirit realm cultivator could survive.
Since Lu Qing was only at the Fourth Tribulation Primordial Spirit stage, it seemed entirely impossible for him to remain unscathed, let alone achieve a breakthrough.
"They aren't entirely gone, but very few remain," Lu Qing admitted with a hint of sheepishness.
His path of Cultivation demanded an astronomical quantity of resources.
Because the effects of the elixirs from Old Cyan Dragon were so potent, he had hoped to acquire more through trade.
He still possessed a variety of Spiritual Artifacts plundered from the Heavenly Origin Great World that he rarely utilized; exchanging them for cultivation resources felt like a logical trade.
The three Elders were momentarily speechless, their gazes locked onto Lu Qing.
Observing the sincerity in his expression, they were forced to accept that he was being completely honest.
After a heavy silence, Old Cyan Dragon finally asked, "How did your body endure the massive amount of pill poison contained within those elixirs?"
Furthermore, it was baffling that after consuming such a mountain of elixirs, Lu Qing had only progressed from the Fourth Tribulation Primordial Spirit to the Fifth Tribulation.
"As I mentioned before, my cultivation method is unique and my physique is quite special. To me, pill poison is not a toxin but a powerful supplement."
Lu Qing spoke the truth.
Having forged the Undying Heavenly Witch Body, his physical form now shared characteristics with mighty tribulation beasts, allowing him to consume various strange energies and transmute them into personal power.
While pill poison was dangerous to others, to him, it was simply another energy source that strengthened his Foundation.
This explanation left Old Cyan Dragon and his companions silent once more.
A physique that treated pill poison as food was something they had only heard of in the legends of certain mutated beasts.
They had never encountered a human cultivator with such an ability.
As they looked at Lu Qing—who appeared to only have the strength of a Fifth Tribulation Primordial Spirit—the three powerful beasts realized they could no longer truly gauge his depths.
At that moment, the Black Bull remembered when Lu Qing had offered his essence blood to be tested by the Calming Mirror.
He had sensed back then that Lu Qing’s Qi-blood was remarkably potent.
Could it be that Lu Qing was the host of some legendary, hidden physique?
The Black Bull kept this thought to himself, however.
Every practitioner has their own secrets; if Lu Qing chose not to elaborate, prying might only cause friction.
Having finally discovered such a magnificent genius to succeed his master, he did not want to risk any resentment.
"I did not expect you to possess such a rare and extraordinary physique, Ah Qing; it is truly impressive," Old Cyan Dragon remarked, sighing as he decided not to push for more details.
"However, providing more elixirs may prove difficult."
"When our master departed in haste, he left very few arrangements behind and took the bulk of the Immortal Palace's resources with him.
The elixirs I previously handed over constituted nearly the entirety of our remaining stock.
While there are still elixirs meant for the Unity Realm, we have almost nothing left for the Primordial Spirit realm."
Old Cyan Dragon looked slightly embarrassed as he explained, "The truth is, Primordial Spirit realm elixirs were never in high demand within the Immortal Palace. They were usually distributed to Outer Disciples or laborers, as the master’s Direct Disciples utilized Unity Realm resources instead."
Lu Qing was momentarily stunned.
He understood the implication: the Immortal Palace did have treasures, but they were mostly restricted to those at the Unity Realm or higher.
Resources suitable for his current level were nearly non-existent.
To put it bluntly, his current realm was too low to access the high-level treasures that were available.
Noticing Lu Qing’s look, Old Cyan Dragon felt a bit awkward as well.
They had just been discussing how to nurture Lu Qing’s growth, yet they were already hitting a wall regarding basic Primordial Spirit realm supplies.
Then again, who could have foreseen that Lu Qing’s Cultivation would swallow such a staggering amount of medicine?
Under normal circumstances, the elixirs Old Cyan Dragon provided should have been enough to take a genius from the early Primordial Spirit realm all the way to the late stages.
Instead, they had only fueled a single minor breakthrough from the Fourth to the Fifth Tribulation.
Where did all that medicinal power go? Was it actually absorbed, or was the majority of it simply wasted?
If it was the latter, it would be a bad omen, suggesting that Lu Qing’s natural talent for cultivation wasn't as high as they believed.
"I understand. It seems I was being a bit too greedy," Lu Qing said with a faint smile.
He felt a small pang of disappointment but wasn't truly discouraged.
He was used to struggling for resources; it was his normal state of existence.
Besides, even without pills, the rich spiritual energy within the Spirit Void Peak Cave Mansion ensured his progress wouldn't stall entirely.
He simply wouldn't be able to advance with the explosive speed he had recently enjoyed.
Refocusing his thoughts, Lu Qing moved on to another topic.
"By the way, Elder, has anything of note happened within the secret realm during my two or three years of seclusion?"
"Nothing particularly major. Just those external cultivators attempting the trials," Old Cyan Dragon answered dismissively.
"Ah Qing, do you have some history with those outsiders?" the Black Bull inquired.
"I wouldn't call it a deep history, just a few unpleasant encounters when I first arrived," Lu Qing replied with a chuckle.
The Elders understood immediately.
Lu Qing’s words suggested he had some old scores to settle with the people outside.
Knowing the greedy nature of those cultivators, a lone traveler like Lu Qing would have surely been targeted.
They could easily imagine that some conflict had broken out before they had even awakened.
"Regarding those trial-takers, the most successful among them are still languishing at the sixth stage. They are far behind you, Ah Qing," Old Cyan Dragon noted.
"The leaders are only at the sixth stage?"
This news surprised Lu Qing.
He had been training in seclusion for years, yet they had made so little progress.
He knew that among the outsiders were famous True Disciples from major sects, some reaching the Eight Tribulations Primordial Spirit level.
"Elder, might I ask about a Sword Cultivator named Yu Jian and another named Mo Tushan? What stages have they reached?"
"Both are currently at the sixth stage."
Recognizing that Lu Qing was asking about his "unpleasant encounters," Old Cyan Dragon added, "However, that Sword Cultivator, Yu Jian, was the victim of a sneak attack by Mo Tushan during the fifth stage. He was badly hurt. Although he eventually recovered, his pace was ruined, causing him to fall behind."
"Yu Jian was ambushed by Mo Tushan? I thought the array channels prevented combat between participants?"
Lu Qing was shocked.
On the path he had taken, fighting was strictly forbidden, and even speaking to others was impossible.
"Every array channel functions differently. Some allow for communication, and there are specific junctions where channels intersect, allowing cultivators to cross over.
When you reached the fifth, seventh, and ninth checkpoints, did you not see the transmission arrays on the ground?"
Lu Qing suddenly remembered seeing those very arrays.
At the time, he had been so preoccupied with downloading and learning the array legacies that he hadn't given them a second thought.
Now, he realized exactly what those arrays were for.
His eyes began to glow with a sharp light.
