I Can See Through All Things' Information Chapter 1148 - 711_2

Previously on I Can See Through All Things' Information...
Lu Qing presented his master with Witch's Primordial Blood and numerous cultivation techniques from his travels, including Water, Fire, Sword, and Medical Dao legacies. He then questioned his master about a demon attack on the village and learned that some demon blood had splattered outside. Using a compass-shaped treasure and the demon's residual demonic qi, Lu Qing located the demon and set off with Little Yan and Little Li to pursue it. Meanwhile, the Eagle Demon, who had attacked the village, was healing in a distant underground cavern.

The aura surrounding him was incredibly faint, a shadow of what it had been at his peak.

Abruptly, the Eagle Demon coughed up blood. A fracture appeared on his chest, from which a sharp, piercing aura briefly pulsed.

However, under the pressure of surging demonic qi, the cracks were rapidly sealed and mended.

This forced healing caused his aura to sink even further.

"Curse it! Just what level of Sword Dao has that old man attained to forge such persistent Sword Qi?"

The Eagle Demon’s face was grim.

He never would have guessed that his sudden whim—capturing Lu Xiaoyan’s kin to refine into Blood Souls—would nearly cost him his life.

That old fellow was merely at the middle stage of the Golden Core realm, yet his Sword Dao was terrifyingly high. The refined Sword Qi he wielded merged the Daos of Water and Fire, carrying an essence of eternal vitality.

It acted like a Bone-Eroding Poison, relentlessly grinding away at his Physical Body and Mana.

Even now, he had failed to fully purge every trace of that Sword Qi.

"With me being this badly wounded, those bastards in Evil Wind have likely noticed my disappearance. They’re probably plotting to cast me out right now, aren’t they?"

Anxiety gripped the Eagle Demon. The Holy Mountain’s Mountain Soul was vital to them; it was the key to whether they could soon return to the Primordial Spirit Realm.

If those three from Evil Wind truly intended to abandon him and seize the Mountain Soul for themselves, they would surely consume him once they regained their Primordial Spirit strength.

The Eagle Demon knew the temperament of those three all too well, for he would have done the exact same thing in their position.

Despite this realization, he didn't dare return.

In his current state, showing his face to those three would be no different from delivering himself as a meal.

"If not for that old man, I wouldn't be in such a desperate spot. If I don't settle this debt, I don't deserve to be called a demon!"

The Eagle Demon gnashed his teeth, his loathing for the old doctor now exceeding even his hatred for Little Yan.

He vowed that once his wounds were mended, he would spare no effort to make that old man pay.

Meanwhile, as he hid in the heart of the mountains to recover, the Eagle Demon was completely unaware that Evil Wind had already been wiped out.

Just as he was plotting his future vengeance, the earth suddenly began to heave, as if the very mountains were being uprooted.

The entire subterranean cavern started to vibrate and collapse.

"What is happening? Is a dragon turning over?"

The Eagle Demon was startled by the quaking of the earth veins, a phenomenon known as a dragon turning over.

He moved to leap from the cave to escape the earth's wrath, but the stone ceiling suddenly shattered. A colossal, multicolored Glazed Palm reached down toward him.

The Eagle Demon was struck with horror. He tried to flee, but felt an immense Sealing Power pouring from the palm, locking him in place and rendering him unable to move.

Ultimately, he and the entire cavern were snatched up by the Palm and slowly hoisted toward the surface.

"This isn't a dragon turning over! Some Great Power is plucking me from the earth? What kind of being possesses such Divine Skills?!"

Shock filled the Eagle Demon's eyes.

By now, he realized the tremors weren't natural.

Instead, an inconceivable entity was using a Divine Communication Technique to seize him.

He could not fathom who in this current era could wield such power.

Even at the height of his strength in the previous era, he could never have manifested such terrifying Taoist Skills.

Paralyzed by shock, the Eagle Demon remained within the grip of the multicolored Glazed Palm as it rose from the depths, through the surface, and finally into the sky.

As it ascended, the multicolored Glazed Palm began to shrink.

Under the weight of its overwhelming power, the surrounding earth and stone were pulverized into dust, raining back down upon the world.

By the time they reached the high heavens, all the debris surrounding the Eagle Demon had vanished.

The hand restraining him had reduced to only a Zhang in size.

Though the palm was smaller, its strength was undiminished. No matter how hard the Eagle Demon struggled, he could not budge an inch.

Finally, he resigned himself to his fate, ceased his useless resistance, and looked ahead.

At that sight, his eyes nearly bulged out of his head.

Two figures stood suspended in the void before him.

One was a Cloth-clothed Youth, with a strange small beast covered in fur like black flames perched on his shoulder.

The other was a girl of peerless beauty, staring at him with a cold, piercing gaze.

She looked familiar—it was Lu Xiaoyan, the one who had once used an Array to strike him with a heavy sword blow!

"Lu Xiaoyan, you actually dared to leave the Holy Mountain!"

The Eagle Demon's eyes widened, initially stunned.

But he reacted quickly, shifting his focus to Lu Qing, his eyes narrowing sharply.

He could detect no aura of power from Lu Qing at all.

It was as if this Cloth-clothed Youth were nothing more than a simple village boy.

Yet, it was this very lack of presence that sent a shiver through the Eagle Demon’s soul.

He understood that the person who had used that terrifying palm to drag him from the underground was this very youth.

Since his own Cultivation was unable to perceive the youth’s true depth, it could only mean the boy's realm was far beyond his own.

"Demon, weren't you acting arrogant that day? Now that my brother has come back, your end is here!"

Little Yan glared at the Eagle Demon, her eyes burning with murderous intent.

She had not forgotten the vile insults this demon had spat at her.

"Brother?"

The Eagle Demon froze for a second, then began to tremble as he looked at Lu Qing, his face a mask of disbelief.

"You are that boy those ants called the world's number one? Didn't you leave this world to enter the starry sky? How can you be back?"

It was no wonder the Eagle Demon was so shocked.

In his mind, once a cultivator ventured into the starry sky, they never returned; it was a journey with no coming back.

During his own era, several Primordial Spirit Great Powers had vanished while exploring the starry sky, never to be seen again.

Even at the conclusion of the previous Cultivation Era, many Righteous Primordial Spirit Great Powers had broken through the heavens to leave for the stars.

The result was the same; thousands of years had passed without a single return.

Because they knew Lu Qing had entered the starry sky and was gone from this world, the Eagle Demon and his companions had dared to attack the Holy Mountain so shamelessly.

They believed that for a Golden Core Realm cultivator, entering the starry sky was suicide.

Thus, realizing this ordinary-looking youth was that legendary boy, the Eagle Demon's shock was even greater than the moment he was captured.

"Are you the Eagle Demon?" Lu Qing asked indifferently, seemingly bored by the demon's shock. "You certainly have a talent for hiding. Of the four demons who survived the last Cultivation Era, the other three have already been slaughtered by my hand.

Only you are left. Do you have any final words?"

Lu Qing knew the Eagle Demon's name because he had already searched the Divine Souls of the other three demons.

"What did you say? Evil Wind was killed by you?"

The Eagle Demon stared at Lu Qing, unable to believe it.

"Indeed. They were foolish enough to try and take the Holy Mountain to claim the Mountain Soul. I crushed them. Now, it is your turn."

Looking at Lu Qing’s stoic expression, the Eagle Demon knew he was telling the truth.

Feeling the crushing weight of the multicolored Glazed Palm once more, he knew his doom was certain.

Realizing that struggling was pointless, the Eagle Demon gave a bitter smile: "So be it. I've lived long enough. But sir, please consider granting a dying wish. There is something I must know. Could you tell me?"

"What is it?"

"Beyond this realm... are there truly other Cultivation Worlds?"

The Eagle Demon watched Lu Qing intently, his eyes filled with a desperate hope.

Lu Qing paused for a moment before nodding: "Yes. There are other worlds out there."
