Noah confronts Primus about his bold proposal, questioning why the Will of the Universe would entrust him with protecting against the Horn's seekers rather than risk betrayal. Primus tempts Noah with the role of Ultimate Progenitor, the origin of all in the Primus Universe, claiming it surpasses Noah's current progenitorships of Dragons and Elves while binding him to safeguard the realm. As tensions rise with Diatah's suspicions and philosophical musings on truth and power, Noah accepts the partnership deal, forging an alliance fraught with high stakes.

The conversation carried on from there, with Noah and Primus discussing the anticipated events and those that were unlikely to occur.

To his chagrin, Primus couldn't predict the forthcoming moves of the Progenitors. The sole reliable information he could impart to Noah was already something the man had figured out on his own:

The Progenitors were deliberately allowing the universe to fall into ruin from every direction.

Noah understood the reason now. The more unstable and fragmented Primus became, the weaker his strength would grow, posing fewer barriers to seizing the Horn from him.

Those scoundrels were willing to endanger the very birthplace they hailed from just for that legendary Horn. This insight prompted Noah to pose yet another crucial query,

"What would happen if they obtain the Horn?" He asked, gazing intently at the ashen Will. "And I want a concrete, honest answer. Give me all the truths, and let me decide how to act with them."

Primus let out a chuckle. It rang empty and devoid of mirth.

"Sometimes, Prince, lies are necessary." Primus said. "Never have you heard? A lie that heals is better than a truth that destroys. Remember that. Especially in your case, as you are a leader, a father, and a husband."

"Not all truths must be spoken. Not everyone wants truths. Some need lies in order to grow. Learn how to differentiate when to say one or another."

"If truths shall kill them," Noah grated, Diatah mirroring his serious and resolute expression, "then let them die."

"And holding truth from me means you are robbing me of analyzing

the whole situation and choosing the most appropriate path. One less fact means one more hole in my plan... and I hate such things."

"You are stubborn, Prince." Primus whispered. "As expected of you, I daresay?"

"And you are a bother. You avoid talking about truth, yet you always finish by talking about it."

"We are always pulled in the direction we are meant to walk; where the ending of a story waves at us with forlorn eyes." The Will drawled, his voice like a gentle kiss on the cheek. "But who said it was me? Maybe there is another reason why I can't stop talking about Truth."

He smiled strangely, looking alternatively at each of them. "Yes. Just maybe."

Noah's eyebrows knitted together. However, Primus was already speaking again, his voice coming out fast this time.

"You want truth, so truth I shall give you. At least, my version of it. Take it however you want."

"You talk too much." Diatah hissed, tired of the babbling Primus. "Speak and let's be done with it."

"If not the husband then the wife." Primus clicked his tongue. "I truly dislike impatient people."

"We also-!"

"They will go beyond Progenitor." Primus interrupted Noah's words with a mocking smile. "By owning my Horn - which is quite a high-level one in Reality- and using it in the right way, they could become a Crowned."

"A Crowned?" Noah echoed.

"The rank just below Pillar. Powerful in a way beyond me. I have seen only one in my long life. And I pray each second to never relive that moment." Primus said, wiping an imaginary sweat, then followed,

"There exist only seven Pillars in Reality. But there exist even fewer Crowned, for it is not only harder to step into that level but also to stay alive within it. The poor guys never live long."

"Because of the Pillars, I presume." Noah said, cocking his head.

"Smart." Primus praised. "Yes. A Crowned is a threat to a Pillar. And no one likes to have a threat breathing down on them. Am I wrong?"

"You are not." Noah acknowledged.

"I know I am not. Now that you know what those ungrateful people are after, how will you fare? And I must specify, the hidden races will

also participate."

"Even them?" Noah asked, feeling somehow a little anxious concerning those guys. Unknown enemies were always the worst.

He knew nothing of them, but they certainly knew some things about him, considering how loud he was.

"Of course. I daresay, especially them!" Primus said. "No one would

want to pass up the opportunity for an ascension. Especially not beings who have always loathed living chained in a place where they have no real opponents and no sense of purpose."

Primus paused, licking his lips. "Now they have found one. And Mother's mercy on me, it's terrifying when a powerful being knows

how to use its own power."

"I see." Noah simply said, closing his eyes briefly. "What will you give me, then, as support for such an endeavor?"

"You know best what you need." Primus replied. "So tell me."

Noah began to think. He was tempted to propose binding him, but

someone like Primus would certainly not accept knowing what that

would mean.

At least, not now. The old Will still seemed to have some other backup plan besides him. Which would not be surprising.

Primus had lived long enough to know not to put his entire future in one bucket. The risk was immense.

Considering all of that, Noah decided on the one thing he managed to think of. However, before sharing it with Primus, he did something

none expected.

He turned towards Diatah, leaning over, whispered his thoughts, and asked her opinion about the matter.

Primus was witness, but the way Diatah lost her composure - the way her face twisted in a way Noah had never seen - was something

he would never forget.

For the first time, Diatah stuttered when talking to Noah, her voice subtly wavering. But that only lasted for a couple of seconds before she regained her usual self - or even colder - while answering his

inquiry.

Satisfied with her reaction, Noah listened to her opinion before finally deciding on the one thing he wanted from Primus.

"Are you sure?" The Will inquired, tilting his head to the side in the process after hearing it. "I can give you much more than this."

"That alone will be largely enough." Noah said, slowly getting up, hearing his joints thundering.

It was time to go back, he decided. And before going, Noah still needed to take back what was his.

"You are now the Progenitor of Dragons and Elves." Primus said first,

opening his right palm. There, two lights - one black shaped like a roaring dragon, the other green shaped like a peaceful rustling tree - were peacefully rotating around each other.

With no further hesitation, he sent the two lights towards Noah and

witnessed how each of these lights went inside the Prince, going towards his soul and very existence.

Noah's body trembled, a bright luster suddenly covering his whole

frame.

"From now on, Noah, you are the Progenitor of Dragons and Elves." Primus declared, smiling, sensing a shift in the internal chaos of the

universe.

The light disappeared.

Noah accepted the new station with a calm smile, sensing a new type of connection inside of him, Diatah at his side. He looked at her, expecting her to act now, but the woman did nothing.

It seemed whatever she had heard during that meeting made her alter

her plan in a way Noah could no longer guess. At least, for now. Having done everything, the strange and unexpected meeting now over, Noah and Diatah left Primus's company.

And the universe resumed its natural course.
