Follow the path of Dao from infancy Chapter 1683 - 424: The Name of Haotian, Enlightenment in a Day! (3)

While some chaos pillars remained lifeless, others suddenly shimmered as the law patterns upon them ignited, radiating a potent Dao aura as they began to revolve.
Shi Miao observed Li Hao’s focused expression and explained:
"Those chaos pillars are linked to the stone wall. By comprehending the laws etched into the wall, you can trigger the corresponding laws on the pillars. Their activation serves as proof of your success. Should you light them all, it signifies that you have achieved complete mastery over this chaotic star."
Understanding dawned on Li Hao; he finally realized why people were darting around and striking the pillars instead of practicing traditional techniques.
"In that case, should I give it a shot?"
Li Hao felt a surge of curiosity. Since he had reached the second segment of the Chaos Dao, the patterns on the wall were perfectly clear to him, and he already possessed his own insights. He wondered if this internal realization translated to formal comprehension.
"You may," Shi Miao replied with a nod.
The chaos aura she had sensed from Li Hao earlier gave her confidence that he was more than capable of the attempt.
Together, the pair moved toward the chaos pillars.
"Zhan Jiuge truly lives up to the Zhan family name. Despite being here for only five years, he has already lit over ninety pillars. At this pace, he’ll likely finish within another three years."
"The Ghost Tribe is also impressive. I heard they've only been here three years and have already managed to activate more than seventy!"
Voices drifted from the nearby crowd as they watched the cultivators weaving through the pillars.
Looking up, Li Hao spotted two familiar figures. After a moment of scrutiny, he recognized them as the siblings from the Ghost Tribe whom he had met in the Southern Domain.
They were Ghost Ling Yue and Ghost Ling Shuang.
The two were currently resting atop a chaos pearl, engaged in conversation.
Sensing his gaze, the sisters looked toward him and immediately froze upon seeing Li Hao’s face.
A look of pure shock crossed their faces, their eyes widening in total disbelief as if they were witnessing a ghost.
Swiftly, they both flew down to meet him.
"Is it really you? Can it be?"
Ghost Ling Yue landed before Li Hao, her expression dazed and full of wonder.
She had already ascended to the Fourth Level of the Immortal Monarch Realm, surpassing Li Hao by a single stage.
Ghost Ling Shuang also regarded Li Hao with amazement. This man, who had nearly been crushed by the Supreme in the Southern Domain, had actually made it to the Primordial True Realm.
After the Dao Origin Immortal Emperor had sent Li Hao away, they had followed to the Primordial True Realm, expecting a quick reunion. However, their inquiries yielded nothing; the name Haotian was unknown here. He was nowhere to be found.
They had assumed that despite his escape, he had eventually been caught and killed by the Supreme elsewhere. They never expected to see him again.
Ghost Ling Shuang quickly gauged Li Hao’s power, noting he was only at the Third Level of the Immortal Monarch Realm.
He was weaker than her sister.
Meanwhile, Ghost Ling Shuang herself had reached the Ninth Level of the Immortal Monarch Realm over the last twenty years, standing on the very threshold of Perfection.
"It seems the tragedy of those years took a heavy toll on him. Has he been in hiding all this time, unable to focus on his Cultivation?" Ghost Ling Shuang wondered silently.
"It has been a long time. I didn't expect our paths to cross here," Li Hao remarked.
He harbored no resentment toward the sisters, as their past interactions were merely competitive bouts without any real malice.
Hearing him speak, the women were finally certain they weren't dreaming.
"Have you only just arrived at the Primordial True Realm?" Ghost Ling Yue couldn't help but inquire.
Li Hao gave a simple nod.
It was then that the sisters noticed Shi Miao standing behind him, causing their expressions to shift.
They remembered her vividly. She was the lone Immortal Lord who had dared to stand against the Supreme’s crushing pressure to shield Li Hao during that hopeless hour.
They believed she had been destroyed, her life extinguished in the Southern Domain.
To see her standing there, alive, was a total surprise.
"That explains why your progress has slowed," Ghost Ling Yue said, her eyes softening with a mix of pity and sadness.
Even she had reached the Fourth Level, yet Li Hao—the peerless genius who had shocked everyone with his breakthrough in the Southern Domain—was now trailing behind her. The fall from grace was enough to make anyone sigh.
Li Hao offered a small smile and asked, "After my departure from the Southern Domain, did the great competition continue?"
"It did," Ghost Ling Shuang replied with a nod, stealing a glance at him.
"Once you were gone, the Supreme intervened to restore order, and the battle resumed. Within the True Immortal Realm division, the Emperor Clan claimed the top spot. However, in the hearts of the people, you are still considered the true number one. Even Di Lincen, who took the first-place prize from the Heavenly Palace, stated publicly that he was no match for you and called you the uncrowned king. His declaration made the Heavenly Palace quite uncomfortable, but only a member of the Emperor Clan would be bold enough to say such a thing..."
As she recounted these details, the memories of the Southern Domain from twenty years ago seemed to flicker before her eyes, tinged with nostalgia.
Hearing about Di Lincen, Li Hao felt a wave of emotion. He whispered softly to himself:
"I have endured many battles and much suffering, yet I have never lacked for true brothers and friends. That is a great blessing... Has he also entered the Primordial True Realm?"
"Yes," Ghost Ling Yue confirmed. "We all did. After you vanished, everyone who qualified took their places and came here as soon as the competition concluded."
She looked at Li Hao again, her gaze filled with pity.
The brilliant rival who once stood above them was now twenty years behind. Closing the gap between the Primordial True Realm and the True Realm would be a monumental task.
"Oh, right."
Ghost Ling Shuang suddenly remembered something and told Li Hao: "Sword Heart and Ming Yue are also here training. They arrived two years ago. Have you run into them yet?"
