Max realized the limit of his Vein of Origin at the tenth level of the Rebirth Realm when his spear slipped during the intense battle. As the opponent's Piercing Wave Spear, infused with the fifth-level wave concept, surged toward him, Max invoked the Four Divine Beasts Manifestation from the Dimension of Flames inheritance, summoning a colossal black flaming dragon. The dragon's raging inferno collided with the attack, shattering the spear and obliterating the warrior entirely, while shocked spectators marveled at the unfamiliar and terrifying power of the technique.

After Max vanquished the fighter on the ninetieth level, the surrounding arena faded into shimmering light streams and then rebuilt itself anew. That well-known feeling of the Combat Tower altering its setting enveloped him, and soon Max found himself advancing to the ninety-first floor.

Below his boots, the fresh combat ground took shape while quiet breezes rustled across the vacant area, announcing the onset of the upcoming trial.

Beyond the tower's walls, the crowd's vibe had turned intense and concentrated. All gazes locked onto the screens showing Max's image inside the Combat Tower.

The elders and seven family leaders observed particularly intently. They refused to overlook any tiny aspect of the forthcoming events.

For the Black Dragon Clan, the ninety-first floor held a unique significance.

It marked the peak level any of their disciples had attained since the tower's inception. Through endless eras, numerous gifted clan members had strived to surpass their boundaries in the structure. A handful had actually trod upon the ninety-first floor, showcasing their remarkable prowess and battle skills.

Yet, not a single one had triumphed over the guardian warrior of this stage. Thus, the ninety-first floor stayed as the supreme limit their clan's disciples could approach but never surpass.

"You mentioned this level is the farthest your clan has gone, correct?" Joe remarked, glancing at the seven family heads. His words held a steady assurance. "Well, congrats. That achievement is on the verge of shattering. Based on Max's power that I observe, he won't halt until the ninety-eighth floor. That's the sole challenge I foresee him possibly failing to overcome."

Upon hearing this, the seven family heads shared looks brimming with thrill. Though they'd trusted in Max right from the start, his dominant display in the tower surpassed what they'd imagined.

Seeing him climb level by level with relentless drive ignited a strong wave of eagerness in their hearts. They'd foreseen impressive feats from him, but his actual presence on the ninety-first floor still delivered a rush of astonishment mixed with mounting elation.

The Combat Legion Tower was crafted specifically to evaluate disciples in the Rebirth Realm. Its challenges were finely tuned to test combatants at that cultivation phase, so the obstacles escalated dramatically on the upper levels.

Due to that, no Black Dragon Clan disciple had ever progressed past the ninety-first floor. The defenders on those stages formed an impassable wall for all their prodigies.

At present, though, Max positioned himself right at that obstacle's edge.

The chance that he could shatter a longstanding clan record heightened the strain among the elders and family heads. Their stares stayed glued to the screen, anticipating the emergence of the next Combat Tower guardian before him.

Before long, the defender of the ninety-first floor materialized.

A gentle luminescence converged in the arena's heart, and a silhouette gradually emerged from the glow. As the brightness dimmed, a female figure confronted Max. She looked like a grown woman with lengthy, cascading red locks trailing down her spine. Her features were remarkably lovely, exuding a serene assurance that bordered on majesty. She held a poised stance, eyeing Max with intrigued glances.

"Hmm, look at you, young one, advancing this deep into the Combat Tower with such modest power," the woman murmured gently. Her voice held a subtle note of astonishment as she studied him.

"Let's fight," Max shot back promptly, clenching his sword tight.

"Hoho, what's the rush?" the woman chuckled softly. Her manner conveyed a teasing allure as she replied. "From what I remember, no one from this Black Dragon Clan has bested me. With that in mind, why not spend a moment getting acquainted first? If you manage to wow me now, the true me might seek you out personally."

Max arched an eyebrow faintly at her statement. He hadn't anticipated the opponent facing him to exhibit such knowledge of the external realm. The previous foes he'd battled possessed mere slivers of awareness, but none showed this degree of character or mental liberty.

'It appears the final ten floors differ essentially from the others,' Max mused silently while scrutinizing the woman ahead. Her actions validated his hunch. The sentinels on the concluding floors seemed to preserve much more autonomy than the shards on the initial stages.

Outside the structure, Victor Veron's face grew grave the instant the woman showed on the display.

"There she is," Victor uttered deliberately, eyes fixed on the monitor. "She goes by Empress Luna. I'm unsure if an empress like her actually dwells in the Divine Realm, but as a soul remnant, a genuine entity must underpin it. This Empress Luna has served as a persistent blockade for our clan. Whenever she emerges, she unleashes just three arrows, but no one has endured past the second."

Joe paid attention while viewing the screen, then grinned slightly.

"In my Violet Star Palace, our students have also clashed with her and faced defeats, yet several did overcome her by outlasting the third arrow," Joe declared with evident satisfaction in his voice. "The overseers of the last ten floors are all famed legends dispersed throughout the immense Divine Realm. Each embodies a fearsome authority from a mighty origin. The ultimate three floors in particular, those defenders are absolute beasts."

His attention shifted back to the display as he went on.

"I believe this Empress Luna must be a top-tier personality from a second-rate faction, or even a first-rate one."
