Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf Chapter 1741 - 979: The Structure of the Blazing Nebula

Previously on Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf...
Following the unification of the system, the Wolf Pack Civilization has entered a period of relative peace and rapid growth, with various exotic beasts receiving rewards and expanding their military strength. Su Lin has retreated into secluded cultivation, devouring the vast remaining energy of the Lord of the Radiant Sun to reach the level of a Peak Heavenly Venerate. Over the course of four thousand years, the Wolf Pack's dominance has solidified, even as external vanguard armies from neighboring systems begin to arrive. The Charm Fox and her massive Phantom Army have already intercepted these outsiders, successfully defending the system's borders while masking its true strength from the rest of the dark starry sky.

After Charm Fox completely crushed and captured the stellar system's vanguard force, she utilized her powers to infiltrate and manipulate several of the army's high-ranking commanders and generals.

Upon discovering that two massive stellar coalition armies, totaling roughly eight trillion, were following behind, she sent the controlled officers back to lead this enormous force into a trap.

When this army eventually made its arrogant entrance into the Sirius System, they were ruthlessly decimated by the combined might of Charm Fox, the Star War Army Group, and the Second Part of the Direct Lineage Army Group.

This engagement was concluded with minimal effort, resulting in the annihilation of three trillion Ancestor-level Blood Foods and millions of Heavenly Boundary Species, while over five trillion War Servants were taken captive.

Once the three major army groups surrendered half of the spoils to the leadership, the remaining resources, Blood Foods, and War Servants were distributed based on military contribution, with Charm Fox’s Phantom Army Group securing the lion's share.

Consequently, the Phantom Army Group experienced a rapid surge in growth, expanding its ranks to nearly two trillion.

Having identified the two coalition armies as originating from the Proxima Star System and the Heavenly Horse Stellar System, Charm Fox’s Phantom Army Group also gained control over numerous surrendered undercover agents, providing them with clear targets for future expansion.

Su Lin, acting as the Leader of the Wolf Pack, chose not to interfere with such a minor occurrence.

To the current Wolf Pack Civilization, two mere ordinary stellar coalition armies were no longer worthy of serious concern.

The gulf between an ordinary Stellar System and a Powerful Stellar System is vast, let alone when compared to the Sirius System and its Three Suns Together.

Even if their entire forces had arrived instead of just a fraction, it was highly doubtful they could have even pierced the overlapping nebula layers of the Three Suns Together.

However, setting aside this brief interlude,

Throughout these past millennia, many well-informed Star Nebula Great Clans have submitted "kneeling cards" in submission.

The Three Suns Together system had pioneered the Blazing Nebula for the first time, which naturally drew significant interest.

The arrival of these kneeling cards and various envoys from the Star Nebula Great Clans, combined with the intelligence gathered by the Wolf Pack Civilization's own scouts and spies, significantly broadened Su Lin’s perspective on the Blazing Nebula.

Even without relying on "Unspeakable" intelligence, he now possessed a fundamental grasp of the various powers residing within the Blazing Nebula.

The Blazing Nebula is an ancient expanse housing a Late-Stage Level 7 Star Core, surpassing the Purple Radiance Nebula in terms of power and grade.

A multitude of Star Nebula Great Clans remain hidden within its depths.

The most affluent regions are the five primary fragments and over sixty smaller fragments of the Blazing Star Core, where more than a hundred Star Nebula Great Clans reside.

In addition to these clans, there are approximately thirty stellar systems scattered throughout the region.

Certain formidable Fourth Level Peak Stellar Systems and Early to Mid-stage Level 5 Stellar Systems only manage to meet the standards of an ordinary Star Nebula Great Clan.

Only those Level 5 Life Stellar Systems at the Late Stage or higher are qualified to strive for the status of a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan.

Currently, there are only five systems that have achieved the rank of a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan through their own strength, without relying on Star Core power.

The Jinhuang Stellar System is widely regarded as the most dominant; it has integrated more than ten Star Core Chaos Lights and seen a dozen stars undergo fission around it, effectively becoming a quasi-small nebula.

Its might is sufficient to challenge even the top-tier Star Nebula Great Clans.

The Entropy Prison Stellar System and the Red Sun Empire System are both Peak Level 5 Stellar Systems of equal standing.

Their Constant Star Lords possess Half-step Forbidden Peak strength, standing just a single step away from entering the Forbidden Realm through the Fate Altar.

The remaining powerhouses are the Bright Day System and the Ten Thousand Demon System.

These are also Late-Stage Level 5 Stellar Systems, supported by numerous individual small stars and auxiliary stars, making them exceptionally powerful.

The Wolf Pack Civilization, which governs the Three Suns Together System, possesses the foundation to become a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan. However, it must first wait until the Wolf Pack Civilization has fully assimilated the Dao Rhythms and Fortune of these three stars before such a status can be discussed.

The benchmarks for being recognized as a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan are incredibly strict.

Even the requirements for an ordinary Star Nebula Great Clan are demanding. Despite thousands of years of growth and the rapid ascent fueled by the stars' sources, there are still criteria the Wolf Pack Civilization has yet to fulfill.

The standards for an ordinary Star Nebula Great Clan include: ruling over hundreds of millions of new species, possessing a vast destiny that has manifested one’s fate, maintaining a Starry Sky Army of tens of trillions, a Heavenly Boundary Strong Army numbering in the hundreds of billions, possessing thousands of foil-level killing devices, and being led by a Half-step Forbidden expert.

Among these, a Heavenly Boundary Strong Army of hundreds of billions cannot be cultivated in a mere few thousand years.

This holds true even with the accelerated release of Dao Rhythms and Fortune from the three stars.

Heavenly Boundary Beasts require significant time to settle and mature before they can emerge.

Furthermore, the production of foil-level killing devices is a long-term process.

The requirements for a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan are even more staggering.

A Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan must: govern billions of new species, possess a fate that has taken physical form, be capable of countering taboo-grade heavy weaponry, own a million-scale Starry Sky Army, thousands of billions of Heavenly Boundary Strong Army, tens of thousands of foil-level killing devices, and be led by either a Peak Half-step Forbidden or two veteran Half-step Forbidden experts.

Attaining the rank of a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan signifies reaching the absolute pinnacle of the entire Blazing Nebula.

Thus, only after the Wolf Pack Civilization has completely absorbed the Dao Rhythms and Fortune of the three stars can it even consider the rank of a Powerful Star Nebula Great Clan.

Even then, it would merely be a qualification; no one can guarantee that the Wolf Pack Civilization will successfully achieve that promotion.

Currently, the Blazing Nebula hosts about two hundred Star Nebula Great Clans, with twenty-seven being Powerful Star Nebula Great Clans, and only three reaching the top-tier status.

These Star Nebula Great Clans represent the true core strength and the source of all major shifts within the vast nebula.

......

Su Lin recognized that this conflict had bolstered the loyalty of his followers. He was generous with those who had fought alongside him, which in turn drew even more animals to pledge their allegiance. The strength of Su Lin’s tribe would continue to grow until it became the undisputed Arctic Overlord of the ice fields.

After finalizing the rewards for the Wolf Clan and Bear Clan, Su Lin turned his attention back to Sander and Tiffany. He had long expected these two humans to fight for their survival alongside the Wolf Clan.

Su Lin intended to groom these two as his human representatives, and thus he granted them significant rewards. Sander and Tiffany were given two hundred pounds of meat, a bounty large enough to sustain them for quite some time.

This gesture stunned Sander and Tiffany, filling them with profound gratitude toward the White Wolf. They had never imagined that participating in the war would earn them such a massive amount of food.

Sander couldn't help but think back to his time in the Human Fortress. He had been a bottom-tier rookie there, subjected to constant mockery and insults. In a resource-starved human society, all high-quality Variant Species Flesh was reserved for the elite New Humans, while newcomers like him never got a taste. Comparing his past to his present, he felt certain he had made the right choice.

As for Tiffany, she had been little more than a tool for the upper class in the Human Fortress, a disposable pawn like so many of her peers. The fact that the Human Fortress had made no effort to rescue them during their long stay in the Arctic had left her bitter. Seeing that she only needed to contribute to the Wolf Clan to receive fresh Variant Species Flesh, both she and Sander reached a silent conclusion.

Su Lin observed their reactions and sensed their genuine feelings. This was exactly what he had hoped for. He surmised that human civilization had fractured during the Ice Age; by offering even small kindnesses, he could secure their unwavering loyalty. It was a highly profitable trade, and all he saw in their eyes now was a pleasant surprise.
