Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf Chapter 1738 - 978: The Great Clans Withdraw, Undead Army Group
Previously on Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf...
This magnificent celebratory banquet for the Wolf Pack Civilization stretched on for more than a decade.
With the exception of the Mystic Bones of Heavenly Venerate powerhouses, essence components, Heavenly Boundary Marks, the River of Spirituality Essence, and a selection of premium exotic plants, every resource seized by the Wolf Pack Civilization was distributed to others.
Ultimately, these common resources were intended from the start to bolster the collective strength of the tribe.
Regarding the high-tier resources, Su Lin kept a small portion for the extraction of Genetic Fragments, while nearly all the rest were stored at the Wolf Pack Civilization Headquarters. These were reserved to be granted to elite War Generals and War Kings in the days to come!
Meanwhile, the exotic plants were cultivated within the rear mountains of the Southern Territory Mountains, strengthening the resource foundation of the Wolf Pack Civilization Headquarters.
In the future, this location is destined to evolve into the most abundant and resource-heavy territory within the entire Sirius System.
Following this,
the Wolf Lord took action personally, holding private audiences with envoys from the Black Sun Tribe, the Bright Day System, the Undead Army Group, the Ice Dragon Clan, and the Red Sun Empire of the Star Nebula Great Clans.
Out of these groups, only the Black Sun Tribe, the Undead Army Group, and the Bright Day System had previously provided assistance to the Wolf Pack Civilization.
"I truly never imagined that in a mere few thousand years, you would actually lead the species of our home planet to forge such a legend!"
During this clandestine meeting, Shadow Demon gazed at the White Wolf standing before him. The wolf already possessed an incomparable majesty, reminiscent of the Lord of the fifth vein who stood behind him. Shadow Demon transmitted a Spiritual Will filled with deep nostalgia and emotion.
He was a Transcendent who had departed from Earth, having once ruled with supreme authority for a time.
Yet now, when compared to the White Wolf whose age had not even reached ten millennia, they were worlds apart.
He was nothing more than a fading hound serving under the Lord's command, whereas the White Wolf was a genuine rising emperor among the stars.
"Shadow Demon, it was promised that the grudges between us would be set aside during the initial mediation, and you certainly played a major role in the Wolf Pack Civilization’s conquest of the Radiant Sun Star. Consequently, I can vow that the Wolf Pack Civilization will dispatch forces to aid the Black Sun Tribe once in the future, provided it does not damage our own foundation."
After locking eyes with Shadow Demon, Su Lin sent back a composed Spiritual Will in response.
Regardless of how future ties with the Black Sun Tribe might evolve, this favor must be repaid since they had received help this time!
The Wolf Pack Civilization never fails to settle its debts of gratitude or enmity!
Once this Spiritual Will was delivered, Shadow Demon considered pushing for better terms, but he eventually relented after meeting the Wolf Lord’s gaze for a brief moment.
He understood clearly that this junior, who had only lived a few thousand years, was likely offering such a condition because they both originated from Earth.
Had it been otherwise, this favor might have been significantly lessened, given their final frantic scramble against the Wolf Pack Civilization for the resources of the Radiant Sun Tribe’s fortune.
The subsequent negotiations with the Bright Day System, Undead Army Group, Ice Dragon Clan, and Red Sun Empire only served to prove Shadow Demon’s suspicions.
Despite only having a single Peak Heavenly Venerate join the fray, the Bright Day System attempted to demand extra rewards, only to be met with a flat refusal from the Wolf Lord.
The Ice Dragon Clan faced a similar outcome; although they suffered heavy casualties in battle, it was not done out of loyalty to the Wolf Pack Civilization.
Why should the Wolf Pack Civilization be responsible for repaying the investment made in the Jupiter Star Group?
This led to the representatives of both the Bright Day System and the Ice Dragon Clan being forced to depart from Earth, driven away by the Wolf Lord’s cold and detached Spiritual Will.
Nevertheless, they left behind bitter threats, claiming that if the Wolf Pack Civilization ever faced peril again, they would learn the difference between having many allies and being left with none!
But at the very moment those threats were voiced, a fifteen-colored Divine Light tore through the sky, obliterating them instantly in Earth’s upper atmosphere.
This acted as a direct penalty for their insolence!
It also signaled to the Star Nebula Great Clans backing them that the Wolf Pack Civilization is undeterred by threats!
Following that,
the Red Sun Empire received no special favors either,
though they were wise enough to realize that their investments and the losses sustained while obstructing Jupiter’s advance had no connection to the Wolf Pack Civilization.
Because of this, the Red Sun Empire’s talks did not focus on extracting benefits.
Instead, they sought to negotiate an alliance with this newly emerged sovereign of the Sirius System, hoping to join forces to consume the Bright Day Stellar System.
After all, both the Red Sun Empire and the Sirius System are situated on the fringes of the Blazing Nebula.
Aside from several common stellar systems like the Proxima Star System, Heavenly Horse Stellar System, Black Sun Stellar System, and Bade Beast Stellar System, only the Bright Day System is considered a formidable rival to both the Red Sun Empire and the Wolf Pack Civilization.
The Bright Day System is not only overseen by a Peak Level 5 Dazzling Star, but it is also encompassed by a mighty system!
Within the Bright Day System, there are nearly ten thousand Second-class Life Planets, and they have also seized more than a dozen isolated small stars and a single star beyond the nebula layer.
It is an incredibly potent power located closer to the Star Core.
As long as the Red Sun Empire and the Wolf Pack Civilization possess ambition, they are bound to clash with the massive obstacle of the Bright Day System in their future race for the Star Core.
Thus, in response to the proposal from the Red Sun Empire's Peak Heavenly Venerate, the Wolf Lord did not give a direct answer but instead provided a Rule-based Sticker.
By holding this sticker in the future, diplomats from the Red Sun Empire will be permitted to pass freely in and out of the Sirius System’s nebula layer.
This served as a sign to the Peak Heavenly Venerate of the Red Sun Empire that an alliance might be possible, though the status of a mere Peak Heavenly Venerate was not yet sufficient to finalize such high-level matters!
