I have reached the decision to halt the release of DotF chapters throughout the month of February.

Managing the Ultom mega-arc has proven to be a monumental task. The narrative currently involves numerous parallel plot threads, overarching lore, and a vast cast of characters, each driven by their own complex schemes and motivations. Piecing together these intricate narrative puzzles has been incredibly enjoyable for me. Furthermore, I am finally reaching milestones that I originally envisioned years ago, which brings a unique sense of fulfillment to the writing process.

Conversely, the rising complexity of the story has led to a steady increase in the mental energy and time required to maintain it. Many sections have been meticulously plotted only to be completely scrapped a week later. While initiating a new arc is a simple matter, bringing one to a satisfying conclusion is far more difficult.

Consequently, the regular release schedule is being paused for February, although a chapter will be posted on February 1st to compensate for the one missed previously. My goal is to refine the story without the constant pressure of weekly deadlines. I must draft several pivotal scenes and chapters set further in the future to ensure I have a clear vision of exactly what Zac is Cultivating toward.
