He then enters the base to find Iz Tayn has set it ablaze and killed the militia captain, revealing him to be a Buddhist monk infiltrating the base. Iz explains that the monks were trying to contain the spring and were using the base to spread Buddhist doctrine, and that the Buddhist Sangha is close to completing the Six Paths of Reincarnation.
