Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World Chapter 2267: Three Fists Agreement

Previously on Bringing The Farm To Live In Another World...
Zhao Hai encountered a black-robed cultivator who immediately attacked him with powerful wind and thunder techniques. Despite Zhao Hai being a Soul Fusion Cultivator and the black-robed man a Teleportation Realm expert, Zhao Hai managed to injure him, forcing the black-robed cultivator to escape using a Blood Escape Technique. Zhao Hai deduced the man was a devil cultivator from the Evil Blood Sect, which could cause a rift between factions. He then cautiously approached Strong Ape Mountain, wary of the powerful apes guarding it.

Despite their unassuming appearance, Zhao Hai refused to let his guard down around the apes. Their small frames concealed a terrifying power, and Zhao Hai was certain that these creatures possessed strength on par with Soul Fusion Cultivators.

Zhao Hai couldn't help but scowl as he observed the Strong Apes patrolling the mountain's edge. Since he had no intention of forcing his way up, his body flickered as he sought out a place to conceal himself.

One had to admit that these Strong Apes were quite peculiar. They seemed confined to Strong Ape Mountain, unable to depart from its grounds. If a human provoked them, the apes would pursue them relentlessly, but only until they reached the mountain's boundary. Once past that line, the humans were safe.

This was precisely why the black-clothed cultivator had the courage to confront Zhao Hai just outside the mountain's limits. He was aware that the Strong Apes would not give chase even if he ceased his movements, provided he didn't stray too far into their territory.

In the past, after discovering the Strong Apes would not leave the mountain, humans would stand just outside the perimeter and pelt them with talismans. They acted with impunity, knowing the Strong Apes were stuck inside.

That lasted until a catastrophe occurred. To everyone's shock, the Strong Apes marched out of the mountain to slaughter those people before returning to their home. Only then did the world realize that the Strong Apes weren't actually forbidden from leaving; they simply preferred not to. As for their reasons, they remained a mystery.

As the sky gradually darkened, Zhao Hai refrained from lighting a fire or stopping to eat. He simply maintained a silent vigil over Strong Ape Mountain.

By now, the majority of the apes on the peak had gone to sleep. Perhaps assuming no one would dare disturb them, they had loosened their guard. This was the window of opportunity Zhao Hai had been waiting for.

The moon climbed to its zenith, casting Strong Ape Mountain into deep shadows. Occasionally, a faint wisp of smoke could be seen drifting through the terrain. This was Zhao Hai utilizing his movement techniques. Unlike the eagle-like descent he used at the cliff, his current movements resembled mist and smoke, making his figure impossible to track clearly.

Not long after entering the territory of the Strong Apes, Zhao Hai encountered one of them lying down. A smile played on his lips as he looked at the creature. With a flick of his wrist, a stick of incense appeared. Zhao Hai pressed his palm against it to ignite the tip, and a subtle fragrance immediately began to permeate the air.

The Strong Ape didn't seem to notice the scent; if anything, it appeared to fall into an even deeper, more comfortable slumber. Seeing this, Zhao Hai smiled again and stowed the incense away. With another wave of his hand, he transported the Strong Ape into the Space. Without lingering, Zhao Hai’s figure blurred as he began to glide back down the mountain. Having achieved his objective, he saw no reason to stay.

Suddenly, a powerful roar echoed through the air. The sound was incredibly vigorous. Upon hearing it, Zhao Hai froze, his expression shifting instantly. He recognized that roar; it belonged to the Strong Ape that the black-clothed cultivator had fought earlier.

Just as Zhao Hai prepared to accelerate his escape, the space in front of him was forcibly ripped open. A white ape stepped out from the spatial rift.

This white ape stood less than two meters tall, possessing short legs and long arms. Its eyes glared coldly at Zhao Hai. While Zhao Hai could sense a thick murderous aura, he also detected a mental fluctuation. This ripple wasn't meant to harm; rather, it carried complex emotions, as if the creature had come to negotiate.

Zhao Hai wasn't particularly surprised. Back in the lower realms, he frequently encountered beasts with human-like intelligence. However, the more powerful a being became, the less they tended to communicate across species. As their strength grew, both humans and beasts began to view each other with disdain and suspicion, fearing a sneak attack during any attempt at dialogue.

While others might be wary, Zhao Hai felt no such fear. His spiritual force far exceeded his spiritual Qi, and he possessed his golden spiritual force. Therefore, he chose to communicate directly with the white ape using his mind.

Before long, a deep, resonant voice vibrated in Zhao Hai’s mind: “Human, I care not for your identity. Release Xiao Wu, or I shall end your life.”

Zhao Hai looked at the Teleportation Stage ape and replied, “Senior, I haven't kidnapped the youth from your clan, Xiao Wu. I merely wished to invite him to a specific place for a short time. I can set him free this instant, but I fear he will simply choose to follow me anyway.”

“Human, do not test my patience. Release Xiao Wu at once.”

Zhao Hai didn't hesitate further. With a wave of his hand, the ape he had sent to the Space reappeared beside him, now fully awake. The younger ape's demeanor had transformed completely; the cold, cruel gaze typical of its kind was gone, replaced by a look of profound respect and admiration for Zhao Hai.

Zhao Hai turned to Xiao Wu and asked, “Xiao Wu, this senior wants you to remain here at Strong Ape Mountain. Do you wish to stay, or will you come with me?”

Xiao Wu leaped up and exclaimed, “I am following you, of course, Young Master! Grandpa, I want to go with the Young Master. The place he showed me is wonderful; I want to be there.”

The Teleportation Stage elder was stunned. He stared at Xiao Wu in pure disbelief, asking, “Xiao Wu, what are you saying? You wish to leave Strong Ape Mountain? Why? Have you forgotten the sacred decrees of our Strong Ape Clan?”

Xiao Wu shook his head and replied, “Grandfather, I haven't forgotten. I will never forget our clan's mission. But Grandpa, the place the Young Master took me to is amazing. My Cultivation progresses much faster there than it does here. Furthermore, even if I follow the Young Master, I can return instantly if Strong Ape Mountain is in danger. The Young Master might even provide assistance. Grandfather, the Young Master is not like other humans.”

The Teleportation Stage Ape frowned as he studied Xiao Wu. “Xiao Wu, you have only just met this person. How can you claim he is different? Is he casting a spell on you?”

Xiao Wu shook his head again. “Grandfather, you don't understand. The Young Master would never deceive me. The place he is taking me to is truly unique. I cannot tell you exactly where I went, but please don't worry. I am perfectly fine.”

The Teleportation Stage ape scrutinized Xiao Wu. He could tell the youth was genuinely determined to leave. What puzzled the white ape was that he could detect no external spiritual force influencing Xiao Wu’s mind.

The white ape turned his gaze back to Zhao Hai. “It seems you are no ordinary person if you can earn Xiao Wu’s trust so quickly. I do not know what methods you employed, but you have allowed Xiao Wu to make his own choice. If you wish to take him with you, you must endure three of my punches. If you can withstand my fists, I will permit Xiao Wu to go. If you fail or perish, Xiao Wu stays.”

Hearing this, Zhao Hai gave a faint smile and replied, “Very well, I accept.”

The white ape had expected hesitation, but Zhao Hai had agreed without a second thought. Even more confusing was Xiao Wu’s lack of concern. The white ape saw that Xiao Wu’s loyalty had shifted entirely. A cultivator at the Soul Fusion Stage should not be able to survive a single hit from a Teleportation Stage expert, yet Xiao Wu didn't try to stop the challenge. This led the white ape to believe Zhao Hai possessed some extraordinary defensive secret. His expression turned solemn.

Truthfully, the white ape was desperate to keep Xiao Wu from leaving. He had proposed the three-punch deal as a trap; if Zhao Hai refused, he had a reason to keep the boy. If Zhao Hai accepted, the ape could simply kill him, ensuring Xiao Wu remained.

However, the confidence of both Zhao Hai and Xiao Wu gave the white ape a sense of foreboding. Unlike humans, who often broke their oaths, beasts were bound by their word. Having given his promise, the white ape would not go back on it. He remained confident in his prowess, doubting a Soul Fusion cultivator could survive his power.

The white ape looked at Zhao Hai and said, “Fine. Prepare yourself. Once you have taken three of my strikes, you may take Xiao Wu.”

Zhao Hai nodded and settled into a stance. “Senior, please proceed.”

The white ape gave a nod of acknowledgment. He had remained civil thus far because of Xiao Wu, because of Zhao Hai’s use of spiritual communication, and because of the human's respectful attitude. These factors had earned Zhao Hai a shred of goodwill.

Zhao Hai dropped into a horse stance, his fists pulled back to his sides. His focus was entirely locked onto the white ape. It was the most fundamental defensive posture in martial arts, known to anyone with even a modicum of training.

While the horse stance was basic, Zhao Hai’s foundation was incredibly deep, making his version of the technique far more potent than that of any ordinary practitioner.

The white ape asked, “Are you ready? I am beginning.”

Zhao Hai nodded firmly.

The white ape then began to draw upon his inner power, his physical form expanding like an inflating balloon. His height surged from under two meters to a towering five meters, his body taking on the appearance of solid, cast steel.
