On the morning of the third day, Ye Xiangting arrived at the Pet Center with food in hand, as per her routine. Little Treasure greeted her at the door. Upon entering, she was immediately struck by a draft so frigid it sent chills down her spine.

"Why is the air conditioning set so low?" Ye Xiangting questioned. She set the bags on the coffee table and marched toward the wall-mounted control panel to raise the temperature. However, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the screen.

Sitting on the sofa, Qiao Sang noticed her mother’s shock. "The AC isn't even running. Lubao is currently practicing Ice Armor while Qingbao works on Tailwind. The combination of their skills makes the breeze feel quite cold."

Lubao’s mastery of Ice Armor had ascended the previous night. Now, when the skill was active, her defensive capabilities were enhanced, and the frost she radiated was significantly more intense.

Ye Xiangting replied, "...That’s not what I was getting at. I meant, why is she pushing herself so hard with this specific skill without taking a break?"

"If the readings show she’s reached her limit tonight, I plan to evolve her."

"Seriously? Is Breezewing Nini about to evolve?!" Yu Le spun around, her face glowing with anticipation.

Mikayla fell silent for a moment before asking, "You seem remarkably confident in tonight's evolution."

"Qiao Sang isn't the type to inconvenience people for no reason," Liu Yao said calmly.

"She wouldn't have invited me to watch if she wasn't absolutely sure." He paused, then added,

Mikayla remained quiet, offering a silent gesture of agreement.
